[Tutorials] Custom ABXY Buttons

Requirements:1.Primer, Spray Paint, and lacquer

2.A Tamper proof Torx T8 screwdriver

3.Some Scotch Painters tape

4.ABXY buttons taken out of controller

5.Some sandpaper


Step 1. Take apart your xbox 360 controller and take the ABXY buttons out. ( Videos On Youtube Show How )

Step 2.Take your sandpaper and gently sand the top shiny part of the button,do the same with the rest.

Step 3.Now what you want to do is wash your ABXY buttons with some soap and water.

Step 4.Once you have washed them,take your scotch painters tape and put tape on the part of the button shown below.

Step 5.Do the same with all the other buttons.

Step 6.Now that you have prepared your buttons,lets get to painting!

Step 7.Take your primer and spray a couple light coats on your buttons(not too much)

Step 8.Let it sit for 10-15 minutes.

Step 9.Take your main paint and apply a couple light coats.

Step 10.Let it sit for 20-25 minutes and apply your last couple coats (Don't spray as light but not too much)

Step 11.Wait another 20-25 minutes then take your Lacquer/clear coat and apply some light coats.

Step 12.Wait 10-15 mintues and apply a couple more light coats of Lacquer/Clear coat.

Step 13.Let it sit for about a day and enjoy your colored ABXY buttons!
