  1. Se'r decided to work in the paint so to speak, trying to learn how to deal with situations here in the paint. Se'r remembered how it was in the paint. It was a bit different than most. It was a lot tighter, the focus was on the basket since someone was close. The atmosphere...[1]

  3. It was vastly different. It was weird truth be told, how different it was in the paint. Se'r in this case would try to at least learn how to properly deal with situations in the paint. Steps were taken, shifting left and right as Se'r tried to find an optimal way to move. Slipping left and right with the ball in hand. [2]

  5. Se'r quickly moved through the paint imagining people in front of him, and trying to get in the way of various shots. He'd slip and slide through and around them, legs extending and his body moving. With his ability to dribble, he could at least play at an average level. [3]

  7. He only used one hand right now, as he bounced the ball around. Practicing in the paint- was useful, especially since even the most basic of people could easily make shots in the paint. Se'r shifted left and right some more, and slowly entered within range of the basketball hoop. [4]

  9. This was the area that was most dangerous, as one entered closer and closer to the hoop, the defense and offense became more concentrated. Separate from the start where half a court is open. Now, even less of that is open. Even allies can be bumped into at this stage. [5]

  11.
  12. Passing at this point was also dangerous, as the hands that could stop them became even more numerous. Yet- passing became necessary, as all it took was a few steps for them to surround someone, an individual just like that. It was that easy for them to converge in a location. [6]

  14.
  15. Se'r gulped, knowing he didn't want a thing like that to happen to him. He'd breathe in deeply, and attempted to rush toward the basketball hoop. He'd bounce the ball rapidly, before Se'r attempted to leap up into the air, with the ball in his hand. [7]
  16. <br> </br>
  17.
  18. He'd try to place the ball at the 'side' of the hoop, with his arm outstretched with the jump. It should be easy, it should be the easiest thing in the world for a bearer. Yet, he wasn't used to this, he was still going through the air, still propelling forward with this attempt at a lay-up. [8]

  20.
  21. Everything felt like it was meant to fit together like he had combined these tools, this offensive, and defensive tools to potentially. To potentially start a combination that'd be able to take points from the other team. As both hands grasped around the ball, for a moment he wondered. [9]

  23.
  24. Was this how the first predators felt? To devour another creature, to add its energy to your own. They must've felt like the kings of the world. Sweat dripped from Se'r's forehead as it all came together. Shots that missed, shots that were blocked. If he could stop it. [10]
  25. <br> </br>
  26.
  27. If he could stop it, he'd be able to get it, especially at this range. He could make the perfect- he doesn't know yet. The moment is lost, he doesn't know what just happened as he falls to the ground with the ball in his hand. Se'r bounced the ball in his hand and began circling around. [11]
  28. <br> </br>
  29.
  30. What else could he do for his team? He didn't exactly know. However, he'd practice until he could confidently find a place on this team. "I'll be a...small forward." Se'r realized as he bounced the ball, his passing and his versatile nature, it can work for him. A nod is given. [12]
  31. <br> </br>
  32.
  33. Se'r circled around, bouncing the ball a bit more, moving around, and trying to make moves while in the 'paint', trying to slip and move through the area. He'd move across it with the ball, trying to get closer and closer to the hoop, his eyes looked up at it. [13]
  34. <br> </br>
  35.
  36. He'd try to leap up into the air, with the ball in his hand. The center, the most rambunctious type of area. If he could push his advantage, he could certainly take control of it. With an above-average height for his age and in this school, he can try it in the first place. [14]
  37. <br> </br>
  38.
  39. He'd try to slide the ball upward and slid it into the air, the ball being held above the rim once more. With a push of his fingers, he'd try to knock it into the hoop, though the ball ended up bouncing off of the rim. Bearer strength sometimes backfired...sometimes a bearer's capacity to mess up was just that much higher than a normal non-bearer. [15]
