  1. If the romaji reading has a P, N, or K following it, the word can (also) be found in the glossary here at the top.
  2. Katakana words are written in all-caps in romaji.
  3. Additional information/readings are written in (normal brackets), while my notes and guesses are in [square brackets].
  4. When I've transcribed character dialogue, I've put a brief description of their expression along with it, so that if you're lost it might help you find the right line. The character dialogue has less workings-out since it's generally pretty easy stuff, but I've included notes if there was anything in particular that stood out.
  5.
  6. Places:
  7. 神聖ラングラン王国 = Shinsei LANGRAN Oukoku (Holy Kingdom of Langran)
  8. ァングラン王宮アカデミー = LANGRAN oukyuu akademii (Langran Royal Palace Academy)
  9. 地球内部 = chikyuunaibu (inside of the Earth - Masouki takes place on the inside of the sphere of the Earth, so you can look up and see the other side of the world)
  10. ラ・ギアス = LA GIAS (La Gias is the overall name of the world inside the Earth. Langran is a distinct region within it.)
  11. 地上 = chijyou (Upper Earth, Overworld, or Surface World; literally "above ground")
  12. 錬金学協会 = renkingakukyoukai (University of Alchemy) [This is university in the classical sense, not the modern sense. Literally, this is a group of alchemists seeking to learn more, or an organization dedicated to learning more about alchemy.]
  13.
  14.
  15. Names:
  16. J=ミシュレー = J=Mishuree (J=Michelie)
  17. アルザール=グラン=ビルセイア = Aruzaaru=Guran=Biruseia [I'm not even going to guess at a romanization for this]
  18. マサキ・アンドー = Masaki Andoh [Note that despite being a Japanese name, Original Generations pilots usually have their names given in western order when written in full, so Masaki is his given name. My guess as to why is that it's a stylistic choice inherited from Gundam during SRW2's development.]
  19. チュッチイ・ノールバック = Tyutti Noorbuck [Akurasu uses 'Tytti', which might be an actual Finnish name but is not supported by the katakana, which is very clearly written as チュ/tyu.]
  20.
  21. Keywords:
  22. 魔装機 = masouki (literally "demon-binding machine", but it's usually translated as something like "Elemental Machine", using elemental in the classical sense)
  23. 魔装機神 = masoukishin (literally "demon-binding machine god", usually translated as something like "Elemental Machine God" or just "Elemental God".) [There is a play-on-words here on 鬼神/kishin which means "fierce god".]
  24. 魔装機計画 = masoukikeikaku (Elemental Machine Project)

Koto no okori wa, hitotsu no yogen kara hajimatta no||Anyway, let me give you a more detailed explanation of the situation. You can trace it back to a single prediction; that's where it all started.
  227. Masaki (smug): 予言? ウソくせーな||Yogen? USO kusei na||Prediction? Smells like bullshit. [Literally 'smells of lies']
  228. Tyutti (serious): 黙って聞いて。ここでの予言は地上のそれとは違うんだから。その予言によると......||Damatte kiite. Kokode no yogen wa chijou no soreto wa chigau ndakara. Sono yogen ni yoru to...||Be quiet and listen. 'Prediction' means something different here than in Upper Earth. That prediction was based on...
  229.
  230. (there is an explosion.)
  231.
  232. Masaki (surprised): 何だ!?||Nani da!?||What was that!?
  233. Tyutti (shocked): 何かあったのかしら||Nani ka atta no kashira||I wonder what could have happened?
  234.
  235. (beep beep)
  236. Tyutti (surprised): あら、コールだわ。もしもし、はい、チュッチイです。......はい、えっ!?そうですか、わかりました||Ara, CALL da wa. Moshimoshi, hai, Tyutti desu. ...... hai, eeh!? Soudesuka, wakarimashita||Oh my, a call. Hello, this is Tyutti. Yes, eeh!? I see, I understand.
  237. Tyutti (serious): ごめんあさい、ちょっと事件らしいの。すぐ戻るから、ここで待っていて頂戴ね||Gomenasai, chotto jiken rashii no. Sugu modorukara, kokode matteite chodai ne.||I'm sorry, a small thing has come up. I'll be back soon, so stay right here and wait for me, please.
  238. Masaki (surprised): あ、おい!? ......なになんだ?||A,oi!? ...... nani nanda?||A-ah, hey!? ...... what was all that about?
  239. Masaki (neutral): ...
  240.
  241. (another explosion, screen shakes)
  242.
  243. Masaki (shocked): どわっ!?な、何だ?何か起こってやがんだ!?||Dowaah!? Na, nanida? Nani ka okotte yaganda!?||Uwaah! Wh, what? Did that come from nearby!?
  244. Masaki (neutral): ...
  245. Masaki (thoughtful) またかよ? くそぅ、ここにいたなじゃ、ワケがわかんねっぜ。ちょいと外の様子でも見に行くか?||Matakayo? Kusou, kokoni itanaja, wakewakannezze. Choito soto no yousu demo mi ni ikuka?||Again? Damnit, in here I don't have any clue what's going on. Should I take a quick look at what's going on outside?
  246.
  247. [SRW Alpha did this as well, but otherwise it's pretty unique to the Masouki games - the choice you get here influences the stage, the starting levels of several characters, and Masaki's stats a little bit (1 point in two stats depending on your choice).]
  248.
  249. >どうしますか?||Doushimasuka?||What should I do?
  250. >外の様子を見る||Soto no yousu wo miru||Take a look at the situation outside
  251. >見に行かない||Mi ni ikanai||Don't look
  252.
  253. [In SRW Gaiden, going outside starts everyone several levels higher and puts Masaki in Jaomh on this map. Otherwise, everyone starts a few levels lower and Masaki starts in Zyne. This is interesting since it's the only opportunity to have Masaki use the Repair command, but since Masaki is an idiot hero, we'll be roleplaying and going outside.]
  254.
  255. Masaki (thoughtful): こうしててもしょがねぇな。ちょっくら見てくれか||koushitete moushouganenna. Chokkura mite kureka.||If it's like this, there's no more helping it. Let me take a look.
  256.
  257. (fadeout)
