  53. Walter Weed is an unassuming desk jockey at the FBI when the Bureau uncovers a plot to assassinate him.   54. This movie has big balls to pull this much fun of carnage and destruction. Don&#39;t get me wrong, I have seen the first movie a long time ago, but have since forgotten almost all of it - and that helps a lot.<br/><br/>If you watch this film as a stand alone, and not as sequel/prequel, it&#39;s good, really good. The setup is fast, the characters are strong and constant; you can pick up what&#39;s going on at any point in the movie. And its fun.<br/><br/>There is actual feel of destruction and crazy, but at the same time you can&#39;t take it seriously.<br/><br/>While it was good here and there, the ending events are when it really shines. So if you zone out from time to time, at least stick around to see how it ends, you wont be disappointed.
  55. I was sent an advance copy of this movie on DVD. I enjoyed the first Smokin Aces and I had no problem spending 90 minutes on this one. Firstly, there&#39;s tons of gratuitous violence and nudity. If that&#39;s not your thing, skip this.<br/><br/>Secondly, this is called Smokin Aces 2, but from its apparent direct-to-DVD release status, you can expect that Jeremy Piven and other big cast members like Ray Liotta didn&#39;t show up. However, Tommy Flanagan (the guy from the first movie who changes his face) has a reprisal. We see Vinnie Jones of Snatch fame (Bullet-tooth Tony) playing the usual hit-man/tough man. Tom Berenger is easily the best, as he plays the target of a large assassination contract for his head.<br/><br/>The movie is a sequel, but it has nothing to do with the Buddy Aces Israel storyline (though his name is mentioned once, I guess just to get SOME sort of movie-verse continuity). Like the first, Smokin Aces 2 sets up the assassination contract, but the storyline is not even close to as appealing and creative as the first. You do get to see the rival assassins preparing and scheming to be first to claim the prize, however unlike SA-1, there is no creative twist to how they all converge on the target. Instead you just get a boring shootout with some very (VERY) far-fetched comical interludes (All I&#39;ll say is exploding midget clowns).<br/><br/>A terrible script, terrible storyline, a worse ending, yet somehow the first half of the movie was tolerable. If you&#39;re a male who likes guns and boobs, you&#39;ll likely be able to sit through this. Autumn Reeser shows some skin, as does Martha Higareda, someone I had not known until this movie.<br/><br/>It&#39;s still a 2/10. One point for guns, the other for naked ladies. I&#39;m pretty sure 99.9% of females will despise this movie, and any male not enamored with action/nudity probably will too.

This film was supposed to be mainly about the Three Tremor Brothers, who are Darwin, Lester and Jeeves, yet only one has yet confirmed there return, who is Maury Sterling reprising his role as Lester Tremor. Nothing official has been confirmed by Chris Pine. But Kevin Durand who played Jeeves, has already passed on it. On Janurary 13th, a casting call sheet was posted on spoiler websites containing information that only Jeeves and Lester will have a cameo and they will be led by their sister named AK-47, played by Autumn Reeser. Another Tremor family member, supposedly named &quot;Papa Tremor,&quot; will be played by Michael Parks. Although in fact this may make no sense because the Tremors history involves the phrase, &quot;Same Skank mom, different deadbeat dad,&quot; which would hold true to the characters not knowing who any of their fathers were. First of all the Unrated Version runs approx. 140 seconds longer than the R-Rated version. These new scenes feature more violence and sex making it a logical Unrated version. a5c7b9f00b
