- "We're not going to take this oppression anymore!" shouted the Drakanite, standing over the mini-legion of followers beneath him, all of their eyes turned to Saifex.
- "No more consent for marriages from a dragon murdering Queen!" shouted out a random persona from the crowd, some of which were armed with nothing more than rocks, if not chunks of ice.
- The only thing that could possibly pose a problem for the Tsuchi, was likely the Drakanite leader himself. The rest amongst the crowd seemed to be former Danarium refugees that refused to leave Frostvale for various reasons... Perhaps because of Danarium's new crime rate?
- The mere sight of this disgusted him, but what could he do? Execute this man before the eyes of dozens, and expect no punishment in return? For the most part, they were unarmed...
- Though, the rock being thrown could easily qualify to some as 'assault', which left the glaring Tsuchi to start his hostile advancement.
- "You! Standing above the crowd... Disband and scatter at once, this meeting is over!" He shouted in a stern tone.
- The Drakanite leader descended from his small pedestal, but only to aggressively approach Saifex. The mob that surrounded him granted him passage, clearing out of his way and even chanting him onward as he closed the distance, encroaching upon an expecting Tsuchi, prepared for what was to come.
- "SEE THIS ANGUIS?! I'M GOING TO MAKE AN EXAMPLE OUT OF HIM! AND THEN, WE'LL BE ON OUR WAY TO TOWNSQUARE, AND DEMAND OU-" Saifex wasn't even going to give the man the privledge of finishing his proclaimation. He was already getting tired of it, and brought rise to his loaded crossbow to fire a single bolt into the man's foot. The Drakanite gasped, falling over and clutching at his foot in pain.
- The group that once chanted him on his approach fell silent, rather surprised that their leader went down so swiftly. Saifex's emerald gaze remained stagnant on the fallen fool, condescending him with his silent glare, letting not a single word slip past his lips as he took up the action. Not a person stirred, leaving the Tsuchi's eyes to eventually ascend to the masses, taking a single step, earned their backpedals.
- Another switch of attention towards the fallen was only due to the late grunt that left his person.
- "Assault is punishable by a few months in prison... But upon a Nivisman, and Anguis at that... Not to mention, nobility? I'm not so sure about your odds on getting out so soon." He spoke solemnly, using his foot to turn the man over to face the skies above.
- Finally, he turned back to the masses, none of which he'd come to expect as notable magi, if magically capable at all.
- An intimidating gaze swapped over the lot of them, fantasizing the ease of incinerating the entire group at once, before finally passing judgement with a swift grasp for a spare arrow in his quill, that resulted in him tossing it into the air, above the crowd.
- Some flinched, whilst others simply watched onward for what was to come.
- The Tsuchi's emerald hues locked unto the soaring bolt, taking up target practice in broad daylight with a full audience. He shifted his entire person, slamming his left leg unto the fallen Drakanite in the process and earning his wince. A transition from casually standing upright, to a flaring and exagerrated snapping motion--
- A mere prelude for what was to follow as the birch wrapped bolt superheated in the very same instant.
- It took up a saffron glow, combusting into a cloud of fire and black smoke, rewarded with the terror of the revolters below. Small pieces of seared shrapnel rained upon the numbers, driving fear into their ranks, freezing them all in place, and keeping some huddled close to the ground, as though aiming to dodge the explosion from above. It was too far up to do any real damage, serving as nothing more than a second warning shot-- A true warning shot with a pyromancer's touch.
- Some scattered for alleyways, and sprinted away from the group, but the majority remained huddled, slowly rising back up to face the magi for the silence he expected to follow.
- "Go home..." He uttered, in a grave tone.
- Like that, the rest scattered in a chaotic blitz to evade punishment that could ensue, should the Tsuchi decide to outright defy the law and lay waste to those whom supported his assailant.
- As for the fallen fool, he turned him over and proceeded to handcuff him, starting on his way to the main road where he could instruct a Tiro to transport them to the prison.
- (Saifex Tsuchi)
