  1. Drone Glaisne, One of Many smiles and says to you, "Whenever you'd like I have everything planned. I just have to go pick up the basket with our meal."
  2.
  3. You blink.
  4. You blush furiously.
  5.
  6. Glaisne turns his attention towards you as his ears perk up in interest.
  7.
  8. Esei smirks.
  9. Esei caresses the Fingerblade of dha'Wyrden-cree gently.
  10.
  11. With a gentle creak, you ask, "Um... yes, I... um. Do you want me to go make anything?"
  12. You cough softly.
  13.
  14. (The Shadow Kindred): Esei says, "Eyes emoji."
  15.
  16. With a wag of his tail, Drone Glaisne, One of Many says, "I took care of everything."
  17. Glaisne nods his head sagely.
  18.
  19. You think to yourself: **a flush of pink, a burst of green**.
  20.
  21. You have emoted: Cheliyi slowly nods, a warm smile tugging at her lips. "Okay. Are you... free now?"
  22.
  23. Brightly, Drone Glaisne, One of Many says, "Of course! Let me go get the basket!"
  24.
  25. A dark nighthag turns her gaze to watch Glaisne leave.
  26.
  27. You hum softly, your leaves resonating in tune with the small set of bone chimes.
  28.
  29. (The Shadow Kindred): You say, "Glaisne asked her on a date and it was so wholesome oh my god."
  30. (The Shadow Kindred): Glaisne (from the Aetherways) says, ":3."
  31.
  32. Wisps of exotically perfumed air tickle your nostrils, billowing away from Esei.
  33. Esei pats you in a friendly manner.
  34.
  35. "Ok!" Glaisne exclaims.
  36. Glaisne holds up an overstuffed basket, his tail wagging excitedly.
  37.
  38. You smile softly.
  39. You begin to follow Glaisne.
  40. You follow Drone Glaisne, One of Many east to sheltered bank.
  41.
  42. Glaisne leads you down towards the bank, ducking below a willow frond to settle down near its trunk. "I thought you would like the willows," he says in a pleased tone as he sets down the basket and opens it up.
  43.
  44. You nod slowly, your chimes clinking in a soft melody.
  45.
  46. Sheltered bank.
  47. It is quite cool. A steep slope leads down from the west into this small, sheltered bay. Scattered stones form the ground, obviously brought here by the river that curves from east to southwest beyond. Sand and pebbles crunch together as they are moved, whilst the gentle lap of the river's flow provides a mellow accompaniment. The tall willow trees hang their tall branches from the slopes that surround the beach. An ancient and skeletal tree surrounded by bushes of glittering black roses stands tall against the test of time. A rowan sapling clings tenaciously to the ground here. Casting darkness all around, a shadow totem thrusts up from the ground, chilling the air. Someone has left behind a basket entwined with dried roses here. Drone Glaisne, One of Many is here, shrouded. He wields a mystic cudgel in his left hand and a spatula of twisted vines in his right hand.
  48. You see exits leading southeast and west.
  49.
  50. You have emoted: Cheliyi smiles and places a hand against one of the willow trees, before returning her gaze to Glaisne.
  51. You hum softly, your leaves resonating in tune with the small set of bone chimes.
  52.
  53. You remove a leaf-green woollen blanket.
  54. You drop a leaf-green woollen blanket.
  55. You have emoted: Cheliyi stretches out the blanket, sets the basket on top and sits down. "There. Now, what did you bring?"
  56.
  57. Glaisne beams at you before trotting over to take a seat on the blanket. He turns the basket towards you and announces grandly, "There's salad, some bread, and then all sorts of desserts." He then winks as he produces cups and two bottles. "And drinks!"
  58. Glaisne gives an opal snowdrop tea cup to you.
  59.
  60. You chuckle softly, your leaves rustling with laughter.
  61. You think to yourself: **warm greens, wrapping you up like the soft blanket beneath you**.
  62.
  63. With a gentle creak, you say, "Oh! That is very lovely, yes. So prepared!"
  64. You giggle happily.
  65.
  66. Wrought from snowy opal, this dainty bell-shaped tea cup has been
  67. fashioned in the perfect likeness of a beautiful snowdrop flower. Its
  68. niveous tepals tilt upwards with an icy radiance, curiously inverted
  69. from how one would normally view a drooping snowdrop in bloom. Two
  70. opaline leaves serve as a saucer, unfurled beneath the cup with a
  71. delicate grace. Dusted silver has been brushed over the gemstone like a
  72. winter's frost, causing the snow-kissed opal to sparkle invitingly in
  73. the available light.
  74. It has 8 months of usefulness left.
  75. It weighs 6 ounce(s).
  76. It has been stamped with the seal of Wintertide Words.
  77. A sloe-syrup punch with ravenwood sap sloshes about in it.
  78. It has the following aliases: cup, glass.
  79.
  80. You take a long draught of punch, hoping to quench your thirst.
  81. Imbibing a mouthful of the syrupy punch, the cloying sweetness of the
  82. sugared sloe washes over your palate, its flavour bringing with it a
  83. subtle mixture of the reediness of green bark laced with undercurrents
  84. of sweet fennel and spiced clove. Once swallowed, you realize the
  85. beverage has left a faint grit behind, the strong, earthy pungency of
  86. damp loam, rotted leaves, and crystallized ravenwood sap clinging to the
  87. backs of your teeth.
  88.
  89. You have emoted: Cheliyi hums, her eyes closing as she savors the tea.
  90.
  91. Glaisne smiles widely as he looks up to you. "I had to come prepared if I wanted to impress you," he answers with a teasing note to his voice. Taking his own cup in hand to sip at it, he exhales contentedly and then asks conversationally, "How have you been?"
  92.
  93. You blink.
  94. You blush furiously.
  95. You cough softly.
  96.
  97. With a gentle creak, you say, "Um... I have been very well, yes. It is actually my birth month, right now, so this is..."
  98. You smile softly.
  99. With a gentle creak, you say, "Very lovely."
  100.
  101. You take a long draught of punch, hoping to quench your thirst.
  102. Imbibing a mouthful of the syrupy punch, the cloying sweetness of the
  103. sugared sloe washes over your palate, its flavour bringing with it a
  104. subtle mixture of the reediness of green bark laced with undercurrents
  105. of sweet fennel and spiced clove. Once swallowed, you realize the
  106. beverage has left a faint grit behind, the strong, earthy pungency of
  107. damp loam, rotted leaves, and crystallized ravenwood sap clinging to the
  108. backs of your teeth.
  109.
  110. With a gentle creak, you ask, "How have you been?"
  111.
  112. Glaisne's ears perk up suddenly and then he laughs. "Oh! I had better not monopolize you then, so you can celebrate!" He turns briefly to pull out one of the salads for himself, a wholly pleased look about him as he settles it in his lap. Looking up, he then replies, "I've been well! I've been working towards my demidivinity and working on new recipes." With a wink, he supplies, "Tiger shrimp with caviar."
  113.
  114. You chuckle softly, your leaves rustling with laughter.
  115. With a gentle creak, you say, "If you monopolize me... well, I would not completely mind."
  116. You beam broadly.
  117. Thoughtfully, you say, "I think Bizirik would like that, yes. They are very fond of shrimp."
  118.
  119. Glaisne glances up to you, looking delighted for a moment at her words. His head then tilts curiously to the side and asks, "Who is that?"
  120.
  121. You have emoted: Cheliyi sets down her cup and leans back, staring up at the fronds hanging above. "Ah, they are a very naughty noodle. They live with my... well, you would know them as Gurashi."
  122. You chuckle softly, your leaves rustling with laughter.
  123.
  124. With a gentle creak, you say, "If you meet them, I'm sure you will like them lots."
  125.
  126. Glaisne flicks an ear absently, his attention wandering to the rain beyond the curtain of willow fronds. "I don't know who that is either," he replies with a little laugh. Picking up a fork he begins poking at his salad. "But there's always time for that later!" He tips his head towards the basket and urges, "Eat!"
  127.
  128. Teasingly, Drone Glaisne, One of Many says, "Unless you need birthday cake too? I can go make you some."
  129.
  130. You have emoted: Cheliyi giggles, and shakes her branches in Glaisne's direction threateningly. At least, it -would- be threatening, if she weren't snickering.
  131. With a gentle creak, you say, "I do -not-."
  132.
  133. You take a garden salad with raspberry vinaigrette dressing from a flower basket woven with dried roses.
  134. You put your nose over a garden salad with raspberry vinaigrette dressing and inhale.
  135. The smell of fresh vegetables and baked croutons is overpowered by the scent, both tart and sweet, of the raspberry dressing.
  136.
  137. Staring blankly at the salad, you say, "You... this has raspberry."
  138.
  139. You beam broadly at Glaisne.
  140. You have emoted: Cheliyi leans forward and gives the deerkin a quick sidehug, before going back to eating.
  141.
  142. You tentatively stick out your tongue and lick a garden salad with raspberry vinaigrette dressing.
  143. You crunch into a crouton, finding it pleasantly spicy and temptingly laced with a bit of dressing.
  144. It can be said to be filling.
  145.
  146. You consume a garden salad with raspberry vinaigrette dressing leisurely, enjoying every bite.
  147. The salad's lettuce is crisp and chill, the perfect base for the more flavourful adornments - fresh tomatoes, spiced croutons, and salty seeds. The vinaigrette gives the salad life, tasting sweet, tart, and unmistakably of raspberry.
  148.
  149. You have emoted: Cheliyi closes her eyes, humming pleasantly as her leaves resonate with joy.
  150.
  151. Glaisne eyes sparkle as he tries not to laugh, his hoofed hands lifting up to show he surrenders. With another wink he replies, "I listened! I wanted you to enjoy yourself after all." He smiles suddenly at the quick hug, a little grunt of happiness sounding from him at the action.
  152.
  153. You think to yourself: **pink pink pink**.
  154.
  155. You have emoted: Cheliyi sets down the finished plate and smiles at Glaisne. Her expression softens, the smile falling ever so slightly as she says, "I did not bring anything for you. I know you wanted to impress me, but I want to impress you as well." She huffs a laugh, and finally flops backwards onto the blanket with a quiet thud. "And besides, you do not need to impress me. You are already very lovely, and very impressive!"
  156.
  157. Glaisne gives a little laugh, his head shaking as he assures you, "I wanted to make everything, since it was my invitation after all!" Slyly, he tacks on, "Though I guess if you feel that badly we could always plan another date." He then takes several bites of his salad, his ears perking towards you as she flops onto the blanket. Seeming to bask in her words, he answers, "I don't need impressed, I just like spending time with you."
  158.
  159. You beam broadly at Glaisne.
  160.
  161. You think to yourself: ... Oh.
  162.
  163. The sun reaches the zenith of the firmament, pausing in his quest to allow the land to bask in his shining golden rays.
  164. You have emoted: Cheliyi fidgets with her branches for a moment, before murmuring, "I think I would like another date very much, yes." The wyrdenwood slowly pushes herself back to a sitting position, blushing a bright green. Her mouth works soundlessly for a moment, before she coughs and finally says, "I like spending time with you as well, yes."
  165.
  166. Glaisne's tail wags at the murmured words, his hoofed hand reaching out to lightly touch one of your branches in reassurance before withdrawing. "In that case," he announces, "We should get to know each other better! What's your favorite season!" He gives a little laugh, his eyes bright as he offers, "Mine's summer."
  167.
  168. You have emoted: Cheliyi goes still at the touch, somehow blushing -brighter-. "Mm... mine is fall. My siblings drop their leaves sometimes, and it used to make very nice beds. And, the colors are all of my favorites, green and brown, and yellow!" She shifts in place, looking around the bank with a small smile. "Why is summer your favorite?"
  169.
  170. A starving deer enters cautiously from the west.
  171.
  172. You peer at a starving deer unscrupulously.
  173. You peer at Glaisne unscrupulously.
  174.
  175. Glaisne's ears perk briefly at you as she blushes brighter, another little laugh sounding from him before he begins to rummage in the basket. "I do like the colours of autumn," he answers, "But summer is my favorite because late in the season you can harvest the best honey." He comes up from the basket with bread loaves, passing one to you. "And -," his voice breaks off at the sudden appearance of the deer.
  176.
  177. A starving deer dashes out to the west.
  178. You giggle happily.
  179.
  180. Glaisne manages to recover his voice and he passes the loaf to you. "I like the sun," he finishes somewhat lamely, his gaze still trained on where the deer left.
  181. Glaisne gives braided green tea pesto bread to you.
  182.
  183. With a gentle creak, you say, "Mm... the sun is a little too bright for me, some times. It can be pleasant, though!" She takes the loaf and nibbles at it, humming thoughtfully. "This is your favorite type of flavor, yes?"
  184.
  185. You tentatively stick out your tongue and lick braided green tea pesto bread.
  186. Potent green tea flavour blossoms amidst nuts and basil, with a touch of garlic stoking its savoury elements.
  187. It has little nutritional value.
  188.
  189. You put your nose over braided green tea pesto bread and inhale.
  190. The aromas of basil and garlic entwine with the rich fragrance of green tea.
  191.
  192. You eat braided green tea pesto bread with gusto.
  193. The braids of the bread yield in knobs that easily tear away from the
  194. whole, revealing a marbling of vibrant green and white within. An
  195. immediate flourish of rich, grassy green tea blossoms from within the
  196. bread, laced with a gentle note of fresh olive oil. The nooks and
  197. crannies of the bread present a burst of pesto in kind, accentuating the
  198. green tea with a cool caress of basil amidst the zesty tang of garlic.
  199. Earthen notes add complexity in the form of pine nut and walnut, and
  200. grant added texture to the otherwise soft bread. Even as you consume the
  201. last bite, a symphony of vegetal and savoury flavours linger upon the
  202. palate with a subtly woody essence.
  203.
  204. Glaisne turns his attention fully back to you, his head nodding as he admits, "I guess sunbeams may be more accurate," he answers with a playful wink. "Nothing like laying out under a tree and the sunlight comes through the branches." He then laughs and agrees, "Yes, I like green tea the most. I hope you don't mind!"
  205.
  206. That is not a valid command.
  207. You blush furiously.
  208.
  209. With a gentle creak, you say, "I do not mind. It is a good flavor."
  210.
  211. Glaisne exhales contentedly. Flopping onto his back to look up into the branches of the willow tree he smiles softly. "What are some things you like to do," he asks conversationally. "I mostly cook in my free time."
  212.
  213. Faelorna tells you, "I have to rest shortly, but at some point soon I wish to ask you about the possibility of giving a talk on the teachings of Brother Crow? Caohite suggested I talk to you about it as the culture minister."
  214. Faelorna tells you, "I would come and talk to you in person about it, but I know an idyllic riverside rendezvous when I see one, and did not wish to intrude."
  215.
  216. You close your eyes, branches growing still as you listen intently.
  217. You have emoted: Cheliyi suddenly blinks, and blushes deeply.
  218. You cough softly.
  219.
  220. Glaisne flicks an ear in your direction as he asks, "Is everything alright?"
  221.
  222. With a gentle creak, you say, "Um... yes. I like to cook as well! And Miss Faelorna was telling me something, please do not worry. I like to hunt, cook, and design new things, yes."
  223.
  224. Faelorna tells you, "Anyway, message me to let me know if you think it would be good, and how to best go about it!"
  225.
  226. To whom do you wish to tell?
  227. (The Shadow Kindred): You say, "Faelorna i can't send u a tell for some reason."
  228. (The Shadow Kindred): You say, "Did she go offline??"
  229. (The Shadow Kindred): You say, "Hrmgh."
  230. (The Shadow Kindred): Glaisne says, ":<."
  231.
  232. Glaisne pushes himself up into a seated position once more. His head tilting to the side curiously, he asks, "Do you need to go?"
  233.
  234. You sent the following message to Faelorna: Ah, no worries Miss Faelorna! I appreciate your concern. I will message you more soon, yes yes!
  235.
  236. You shake your head.
  237. With a gentle creak, you say, "She is already sleeping. And I am happy to stay here."
  238.
  239. You flash Glaisne a quiet smile, your leaves shaking with amusement.
  240. Glaisne gives a little nod. With a smile, he asks, "What kind of things do you design? I've only had my hoof in cooking."
  241.
  242. You hum softly, your leaves resonating in tune with the small set of bone chimes.
  243. With a gentle creak, you say, "Well, I mostly design foods, yes. But I did make a gift for Lord Nocht. It was very hard, but a lovely earring! I hope He liked it."
  244.
  245. With a smile, Drone Glaisne, One of Many says, "I'm sure He did."
  246. Drone Glaisne, One of Many says, "I've considered following Him myself - may I ask what drew you to Him?"
  247. Glaisne tilts his head curiously at you.
  248.
  249. You hum softly, your leaves resonating in tune with the small set of bone chimes.
  250. With a gentle creak, you say, "Well... hm. What drew me to Him, I am unsure. But He is very nice."
  251. With a gentle creak, you say, "I would suggest talking to Mixter Esei about Him! They helped bring me into His Order, yes."
  252.
  253. Drone Glaisne, One of Many laughingly says, "I did speak with them! I have considered Lord Manteekan too but I'm not in a hurry, and I don't think They're going anywhere anytime soon."
  254.
  255. You hum softly, your leaves resonating in tune with the small set of bone chimes.
  256. With a gentle creak, you say, "Take as long as you need, yes?"
  257.
  258. Glaisne replies brightly and says, "That's the plan." He subtly scoots a fraction closer to you and tilts his head up once more to look through the branches of the tree above them. "Can you hear the trees all the time," he asks curiously.
  259.
  260. You have emoted: Cheliyi pauses, and glances up at the willows above. "I... yes. No."
  261. You have emoted: Cheliyi wilts.
  262.
  263. Glaisne gives a little laugh as he asks, "What?"
  264.
  265. With a gentle creak, you say, "I was able to hear my siblings for all of my life, I think. But they have been quiet for..."
  266. You stare blankly into space.
  267. With a gentle creak, you say, "3 years, yes."
  268.
  269. Drone Glaisne, One of Many asks, "Did something happen three years ago?"
  270. Glaisne flattens his ears as he assures, "We don't have to talk about this if you don't want to."
  271.
  272. You have emoted: Cheliyi chuckles weakly. "I was very rude to the Mother of the Wyrd. I choose to be honest, but sometimes my honesty reveals foolishness or ignorance. I want you to know this about me, so that you may decide if you want to meet again."
  273. You hum softly, your leaves resonating in tune with the small set of bone chimes.
  274. With a gentle creak, you say, "I am working to fix it, and to earn Her love back. But it is slow going, yes."
  275.
  276. Glaisne falls silent in thought, his ear absently twitching. "Well," he begins, "You can't learn if you aren't honest." He looks up to you, offering a little smile as he does so. "We all make mistakes, but we can learn from them?"
  277.
  278. You blink.
  279. You have emoted: Cheliyi's smile grows a little stronger, and she nods once. "I think so too, yes. My siblings taught me to be honest, and I will follow their teachings even if they will not speak. I will spread Her Wyrd and strengthen my siblings, as it is my tah'vrai to defend them and help them grow." Her branches shift in the breeze, the set of wind chimes clinking softly.
  280.
  281. You chuckle softly, your leaves rustling with laughter.
  282. With a gentle creak, you say, "But, that is a little somber for our mood, yes?"
  283.
  284. Glaisne smiles mirthfully as he retorts, "I did want to get to know you!" He reaches out, lightly putting his hoofed hand upon your branch. "I'm glad we could discuss it together."
  285.
  286. You smile softly at Glaisne.
  287. With a gentle creak, you say, "I... yes. I am glad as well. And thank you for being understanding, yes."
  288.
  289. Glaisne nods firmly and then grins, his head tipping towards the basket. "I think this calls for some dessert, don't you," he asks.
  290.
  291. You beam broadly.
  292. You nod slowly, your chimes clinking in a soft melody.
  293.
  294. Dried roses of several colours have been entwined within the thin wooden
  295. slats that make up this small round basket, giving the otherwise simple
  296. shape a charming, colourful touch.
  297. It has 26 months of usefulness left.
  298. It weighs about 1 pounds and 8 ounce(s).
  299. It bears the distinctive mark of Evette Stormcrow, The Primordial Scourge.
  300. A flower basket woven with dried roses is holding:
  301. "tart379466" a frog tart
  302. "tart379494" a frog tart
  303. "cake268210" a beehive honey cake decorated with candied violets
  304. "cake268759" a beehive honey cake decorated with candied violets
  305. "cake263761" an absinthe cake with spider-silk candyfloss
  306. "cake264003" an absinthe cake with spider-silk candyfloss
  307. 6 items found.
  308. It has the following aliases: basket.
  309.
  310. You take a beehive honey cake decorated with candied violets from a flower basket woven with dried roses.
  311. You hum softly, your leaves resonating in tune with the small set of bone chimes.
  312.
  313. You flash Glaisne a quiet smile, your leaves shaking with amusement.
  314.
  315. Glaisne hums merrily as he picks through the basket and pulls up one of the cakes.
  316.
  317. With a gentle creak, you say, "I think right about now I could make a joke about wasps and bats, yes."
  318.
  319. Glaisne tilts his head as he asks, "Wasps and bats?"
  320.
  321. You giggle happily.
  322.
  323. With a gentle creak, you say, "It is a reference for romantic relationships, yes. It is very fun to tease people with."
  324.
  325. You put your nose over a beehive honey cake decorated with candied violets and inhale.
  326. The spicy fragrance of cinnamon and the sweetness of honey fill the air you take in the honey cake's scent.
  327.
  328. Glaisne's tail wags as he asks impishly, "So you think about wasps and bats when you're with me?"
  329.
  330. You blink.
  331. You blush furiously.
  332. With a gentle creak, you say, "That is unfair."
  333.
  334. Glaisne utters a deep, rumbling laugh.
  335.
  336. You have emoted: Cheliyi somehow manages to blush deeper.
  337.
  338. Drone Glaisne, One of Many laughingly says, "You brought it upon yourself, I'm sorry."
  339.
  340. With a gentle creak, you say, "Un. Fair."
  341.
  342. Glaisne quells his laughter into a few soft snickers as he g lances furtively at you. "I'm sorry," he offers in a decent imitation of innocence.
  343.
  344. You giggle happily.
  345. With a gentle creak, you ask, "Are you truly?"
  346.
  347. Glaisne stills as he looks deep in thought. With a sudden grin he admits, "No, not really."
  348.
  349. You gasp in delight, reaching out to boop Glaisne lightly on the nose with a finger.
  350. Sagely, you say, "That was for not being truthful."
  351.
  352. Glaisne utters a deep, rumbling laugh.
  353.
  354. The corners of your mouth turn up as you grin mischievously.
  355.
  356. Dramatically, Drone Glaisne, One of Many says, "I have been thoroughly reprimanded."
  357.
  358. You have emoted: Cheliyi puts her hands on her hips, nodding solemnly. "The debt has been repaid."
  359.
  360. You have emoted: Cheliyi winces at the sudden brightness, but goes right back to smiling at Glaisne.
  361.
  362. Glaisne laughs once more, his eyes sparkling brightly. With a flick of his ear, he glances over his shoulder and remarks, "It's kind of impressive how we can see that from here." With a look to you, he then adds slyly, "But it did give you a radiant glow."
  363.
  364. You blink.
  365.
  366. With a gentle creak, you mutter, "Unfair."
  367. You cough softly.
  368.
  369. The corners of Glaisne's mouth turn up as he grins mischievously.
  370.
  371. With a gentle creak, you say, "It... you looked very lovely as well."
  372.
  373. You eat a beehive honey cake decorated with candied violets with gusto.
  374. Taking up the fork in hand, you cut away a piece of the dense cake, the
  375. rich flavours of orange-blossom honey and cinnamon blossoming upon your
  376. palate. Saving the candied violets for last, you pick up a single flower
  377. and pop it into your mouth, the floral taste mingling pleasantly with
  378. the honey. Soon the last of the sugar-tempered flowers is gone, leaving
  379. nothing but a lingering memory of the rich dessert.
  380.
  381. Glaisne's expression softens minutely and he turns to his own cake to eat it. "I hope you like the cake," he says. "The honey cake was my own recipe."
  382.
  383. Starry shadows herald Dusan, the coruscant as he deposits a cat of black ink into your hands before dissolving into mist again.
  384. You blink.
  385. You giggle happily.
  386.
  387. You drop a cat of black ink.
  388.
  389. You pet a cat of black ink ingratiatingly.
  390.
  391. Glaisne blinks slowly.
  392.
  393. With a gentle creak, you say, "It is very lovely! I love the flowers, yes, and it is a little sour!"
  394.
  395. You have emoted: Cheliyi hums and smacks her lips. Although, it sounds more like the creaking of bark more than anything. "And spicy. Yes, good."
  396.
  397. Glaisne smiles brightly at the words. "I'm glad you liked it," he answers. He looks momentarily to the cat, his head tilting somewhat to the side. Turning his attention once more to you he smiles as he says, "I hope you've been enjoying yourself. I'm afraid I need to rest very soon, though."
  398.
  399. You hum softly, your leaves resonating in tune with the small set of bone chimes.
  400. With a gentle creak, you say, "I did, truly."
  401. You glance askance.
  402. Leaning forward, you gently press a kiss to Glaisne's brow.
  403. With a gentle creak, you say, "Rest well."
  404.
  405. Glaisne smiles gently, his head tipping upwards to catch your cheek with a quick kiss. Winking playfully, he murmurs, "Thank you for the date, Cheliyi. Have a good birth month."
  406.
  407. You blush furiously.
  408.
  409. The horizon glows with burnished shades of orange and red, heralding the imminent arrival of Father Sun upon the rim of the world.
  410.
  411. With a gentle creak, you say, "Um. Yes."
  412.
  413. Glaisne waves goodbye at you.
  414.
  415. You wave goodbye at Glaisne.
  416.
  417. Glaisne grows still and his lips begin to move silently.
  418. Glaisne is enveloped in translucent fire for a moment and is gone, his soul safe until he returns to Lusternia.
  419.
  420. You pick up a leaf-green woollen blanket.
  421. You take a beehive honey cake decorated with candied violets from a flower basket woven with dried roses.
  422. You take an absinthe cake with spider-silk candyfloss from a flower basket woven with dried roses.
  423. You put a beehive honey cake decorated with candied violets into a flower basket woven with dried roses.
  424.
  425. Sheltered bank.
  426. Large, heavy raindrops splash upon the ground. A latticed honeycomb bottle rests here. Sitting here with frigid poise, a snoefaasia-etched crystal bottle awaits use. A cat of black ink loiters here, glossy eyes intelligent and curious.
  427. You see exits leading southeast and west.
  428.
  429. You give an absinthe cake with spider-silk candyfloss to a cat of black ink.
  430. You smile, lips creaking softly.
  431.
  432. (The Shadow Kindred): You say, "I gave her a cake fisdjncksnksd bring her b ack."
  433.
  434.
  435.
  436. A cat of black ink sniffs at the cake, before looking back up at you. She meows inquisitively, instead trying to nose her face into your hand.
  437. You think to yourself: **a flood of pink**.
  438.
  439. With a gentle creak, you say to a cat of black ink, "Yes hello, lovely one. If you could bring that back to Mixter Esei, I am sure they would like it."
  440. You pet a cat of black ink ingratiatingly.
  441.
  442. An intricate honeycomb lattice made of spun glass envelops the vaguely
  443. hexagonal shape of this little bottle, the opaque flaxen edges
  444. protruding outwards and contrasting beautifully with its translucent
  445. amber body that imbues any liquid placed within with a warm, honeyed
  446. glow. A wooden cork prevents its contents from spillage, its surface
  447. embossed with an elaborate hexagonal latticework and polished to a
  448. glistening sheen. A fuzzy wooden bumblebee adorns the top of the cork,
  449. its body meticulously carved and painted over using yellow and black
  450. tinctures.

  465. Before the Master Ravenwood Tree.
  466. The dark heart of Glomdoring Forest is almost audibly beating in this, its shadowy centre. Tall, blackened trees surround this clearing, pressing together into an imposing barrier of rotten vegetation. Moulds and fungi are smeared across the plants, their pungent stench suffusing the forest. The branches are coated in dark slime, slick tendrils that hang downwards. Although a variety of trees might actually grow here, the black tar that coats them renders them indistinguishable. A thin black mist creeps between the trees, hanging low across the ground. The floor of the clearing itself is simply bare earth, cracked and dry. Overshadowing all is the Master Ravenwood Tree itself, jutting into the sky like a twisted fist. The sound of laughing crows echoes down from the treetops, a harsh sound for the ears below. The atmosphere vibrates with a palpable power. Brennan Stormcrow paces here, his cadaverous body twitching with sudden jerks. An animated skeleton stands here with a ghostly outline of a bat around its skull. An animated skeleton stands here with a ghostly outline of a spider around its skull. An animated skeleton stands here with a ghostly outline of a beetle around its skull. An animated skeleton stands here with a ghostly outline of a wasp around its skull. The Master Ravenwood Tree towers over everything here, pulsing with an immeasurable yet dark power. There are 25 dark nighthags here. Casting darkness all around, a shadow totem thrusts up from the ground, chilling the air. Glowing gently with a soft blue light, a delicate dreamcatcher has been permanently hung here. There are 2 armoured bats here. In the shape of an open palm, a metallic sigil lies here. There are 20 illithoid scourges here. There are 25 shadowlord widowriders here. A crudely crafted shrine of harsh black crystal stands here, thrumming powerfully. A crystal champagne bottle has been set aside here. Splintered from the Master Ravenwood, a massive branch lies here, spiders crawling along its rotting wood. A giant bat hangs here, wings folded about its body and one beady eye open. A green eyelash viper is slithering about here. A rowan sapling clings tenaciously to the ground here. There are 9 bowl of shrimps curry here. An elegant tulip lies here, forlornly. There are 2 delicate irises here. Cast uncaringly to the ground, a discarded yellow rose lies here. Dusan, a coruscant wyvern, lurks in the shadows here. Proselyte Eirlys, the Eventide's Mist is here, shrouded. They wield a mystic cudgel in their left hand and a wyrden shield emblazoned with a crow in their right hand. Esei is here, pondering thoughtfully. They wield a dark, curved silver athame in their left hand.
  467. You see a single exit leading north.
  468.
  469. You hum softly, your leaves resonating in tune with the small set of bone chimes.
  470.
  471. You take a long draught of punch, hoping to quench your thirst.
  472. Imbibing a mouthful of the syrupy punch, the cloying sweetness of the
  473. sugared sloe washes over your palate, its flavour bringing with it a
  474. subtle mixture of the reediness of green bark laced with undercurrents
  475. of sweet fennel and spiced clove. Once swallowed, you realize the
  476. beverage has left a faint grit behind, the strong, earthy pungency of
  477. damp loam, rotted leaves, and crystallized ravenwood sap clinging to the
  478. backs of your teeth.
