Currently owned by a certain Eva Dionne Solano (73 years old, may be using the nickname Ava Salmon occasionally) and her son, Jose Erasmos Solano (43 years old).

Website (www.funtimekidzkare.com) was quickly taken down after the reddit thread was posted.
The domain was registered on 2/15/2005, was last updated on 1/26/2015 was set to expire 2/15/2016.
The building was initially registered by "Richard M Yocom" in 1973, as "Fun Time Child Care Center".
In 1986, he re-registered with his wife "Karen Yocom" as well as this "Ava Salmon" person with no gender apparently. The company was re-branded as "Fun Time Infant & Child Care".
Another registration seems to be by a "Rick E Stowell" back in 6/10/1993 as "Fun Time Child Care" (DBA). It was not renewed and expired as of 6/10/1999.
It seems "Richard M Yocom" then registered "Fun Times Child Care Center" (DBA) on 8/20/1996. It was last renewed on 8/2/2002 and expired as of 9/15/2005 due to non-renewal.
"Eva Solano" re-registered the company as "Fun Time Child Care" (DBA) on 9/3/2003. It was last renewed 9/14/2009 and expired as of 10/29/2012.
Seems "Eva Solano" also registered "Fun Time Kidz Kare Inc." (Corporation) on 2/15/2005. It was not renewed and expired as of 5/24/2006. Looks as if she was not feeling the Corporation and wanted to keep the DBA instead. Interesting that she puts a different address this time.
Lastly, "Jose Solano" registered the company as "Fun Time Child Care, LLC" on 12/28/2012. It was last renewed on 1/2/2014 and is currently delinquent as of 1/13/2015. This entry seems to be even stranger than the last, as the address is mangled (street matches but city/zip match Eva's).

The first few hours

/u/DeformedReality, /u/filluppp and /u/DigitalGarden all recognize the place and have wondered about it or have thought of it as creepy.

The Former Client

/u/lumpychick (new account) says that her kids attended from 2001 to 2006/2007 and it was a positive experience. A new owner bought the place in 2006 and "They were horrible, neglectful and borderline abusive". She also says these new owners were the ones to first paint it the current color.

/u/lumpychick follows up with a link to the public complaints against the center. Shows normal complaints up until 2011, nothing since.

/u/Effyup finds another site with two newer incidents one in 2013 and one in 2014.

The Upkeep

/u/gthing (local flair) links to streetview and notes that the swamp cooler was running. Image is dated July 2014.

Also note that the paint is faded and graffiti has been painted over. If you compare to the image that started this whole thing the paint new and fresh. This would indicate that the building is being maintained. Also that the banner with the phone number was removed at some point and put back up after the paint job.

The Webiste

The registering agent has the same last name as the SLC employee. Fun Time Kidz Kare hasn't been registered since 05/24/2006. What's with the fresh paint?"

The Lettercarrier

The Break-in

(user requested his name be removed) says, "I just talked to my friend who lived right be there for about a year and said one night they jimmied their way in out of curiosity and in the main room was mostly just a chair facing a TV displaying a live video of the other room in the building." He also adds, "The laundromat across the street constantly has cops there for drug busts."

Stop Gossip

/u/StopGossip (new account, now deleted) claims to know the owners and defends the place vigorously. Most if not all of the posts with username deleted in the screenshot are from this person. StopGossip digs through OPs posting history and leaves with "I have been in your house and we played with your action figures. Remember when I put them down your asshole?"

/u/StopGossip is also the user who requested removal on the original thread.

The Phone Calls (note please don't call these people)

Multiple redditors call the phone number and get little response. When they do get a live person the phone is answered with "hello" rather than a business name.

The Wumbler

/u/thewumbler (new account) claims to have video of children inside place. Later says he had trouble getting them off his phone. Finally returns and says, "According to the police, it is now closed."

This section contains info I have received in PMs, I figure if the person wanted their name attached they would have posted it in the comments below. This info will not be attached to a username, take that for what it's worth.

Business Listing

The name from whois before it was scrubbed is attached to a variety of local interests. These may or may not be the same person: concealed carry permit instructor, HAM radio operator, real estate agent, webmaster for a site to reelect a local politician. I have links for all these but I feel posting his name brings us too close to a witchhunt.

This same name is attached to "a 36 year old was arrested by ICE in Utah County (the person in question with this child care place appears to reside in Provo ) and was convicted on a charge of distribution of meth. 60 months in custody, then back to ICE for deportation. The criminal charges I found on PACER, but the arrest is easily googled."

If I have missed anything please comment and I'll get it added.

Posted this in another thread, documenting here for more information. I decided to investigate the public records and website/domain registration records:

Just thought I would post some things that I found interesting:

The website, funtimekidzkare.com is currently a blank page, meaning their hosting is still active and running. EDIT: Their page seems to being updated, shows a blank template with 'Privacy Policy' link. Interesting that the privacy policy takes you to a document on "Whois Privacy Protection Service" website.

~~The website resolves as 174.36.138.18, a Seattle WA based IP address. It appears to be hosted by Softlayer Technologies as the ISP/host.~~ EDIT: The IP address has changed to 69.64.147.242. This appears to belong to eNOM, Inc in Kirkland WA.

It seems that the old website is still accessible via IP address, now displaying an Apache 2 Test Page (Cent OS).

Archive.org (Way Back Machine) has cached versions of the website. All seem to be the same, the earliest date is March 2008 while the latest date is December 2014. The website itself is very primitive and looks sketchy (stock photos, awful design/graphics).

A WHOIS query on the domain appears to be "censored" from the registrant details. This appears to be a service provided by Whois Privacy Protection Service, in "Kirkland WA". Interestingly enough, the BBB has given them a F rating.

The website domain was initially created on 2/15/2005, last updated 1/26/2015 (interesting). It is set to expire next year, on 2/15/2016.

EDIT Doing some research via Utah public corporate records. It appears to have been registered and re-registered numerous times from 1973 until now. If I had to guess, I would say ownership changed around 2003, with the "Solanos" taking the business from "Richard and Karen Yocom".

/u/aleeum posted an image showing mention of a company called Chunga Interntational, LLC. It just so happens to be registered to an "Eva Dionne Solano" on 5/9/2012 until it expired on 8/26/2014.

EDIT: Decided to use a registered principal search on the Utah site for people named "Solano" (to see any other potential links to Eva or Jose). The results for them are interesting to say the least. They either have a really rocky business history... or enjoy setting up shell companies.

EDIT: /u/k2b6s9j has posted a link showing the WHOIS history, which has the original data. Registered to none other than "Jose Solano", with a SLC government email address. This is getting a little fishy now...

Another report, from FindTheBest.com, lists the Executive Director as "Ava Salmon" (not Eva Solano).

DOBSearch shows "Ava Salmon" here instead of "Eva Solano". Since the name changed several times, I decided to look up more on the "Fun Time" lineage.

A Duns & Bradstreet lookup shows this address as registered to "Fun Time Child Care Center". Their DUNS number is 092033216 (also public record).

Google Street View of the address. The street view car has been there on three separate occasions: July 2007, July 2011, and July 2014.

Comparing each of the Google Street View images, much of the "kid artwork" displayed in the windows remains the same, even over a 4-8 year span of time. All of the windows remain fully covered, not allowing anyone to see inside. I found it strange that they wouldn't replace but a couple of the stuff in the windows over that long a period of time.

EDIT: People who have contacted them have been told that they must apply through social services to get into the day care. Here is Utah's approved Child Care Provider search page. Look up "Fun Time Child Care, LLC." and you get their profile ("Jose Solano"). Strange bit is Total Capacity: 29, Total Vacancies: 32, what? I checked several others and none of them have this math discrepancy.

EDIT: Found their profile on Child Care Center. Interesting how people are being told they must apply through Workforce Services when this page lists Enrolled in Subsidized Child Care Program: No. Out of date... or a lie being told to keep the place off limits?

EDIT: /u/konspirate posted a link on Fonroid showing an interesting shipment for Fun Time Kidz Kare in 2013. I admit I am not very knowledgable on freight shipping documentation, but I think it's worth a look. Note the name "Ava Salmon" here with the title "Executive Director".

Their website/domain changes in the last hours have been very odd. They switched their domain to point to a search-engine landing page (random keywords). Their old website has been reset to a blank Apache page. All of their domain registration data has been scrubbed from WHOIS. Why the evasive actions?

tl;dr: 5 companies are on a bill of lading for 1 shipping container, contents listed as 1.1KG of "plastic jewelry", and 6,852KG of "soccer/footballs" from China. 1 company in California makes electronic and other "educational toys" and seems to be on the up-and-up. 1 bait-shop in Idaho with a registered sex-offender living at the same address as a company listed as receiver of goods from the shipment. 1 Some financial agency shell-game in Chicago. 1 shady day care in Salt Lake City whose owner shares the last name with an executive (see management, not mayoral) level employee working in City Hall. 1 bounce house rental company in Oregon no one has looked into yet.

The actual shipping of this container was facilitated by a company with an employed sales executive who once bought/sold 'merchandise' in the defense sector.
