  1. The very start of it all... It was at first a passing dream, a theory turned into something more, another ambition for the Captain to chase as he brings up the idea with the other two Vice Wings of his crew...Both Xyth and Esbern... Uri would speak to them, about a dream, a CANNON that can be used to fight off magi or well mainly, large beast such as the dragon they faced so many years ago! Uri believed it to be a great idea, one that would put their blacksmiths and other magi of intelligence to work! And so, began the tale of creating a cannon through their adventures! But first, the blueprints!
  2.
  3.
  4. [13:01] On the table, Uri would begin to list some things... Blueprints and necessary ore needed to build his cannon...He placed the eraser-head of the pencil against his lips, thinking to himself out loud, noting what would be needed as reinforcement metals and what will be used as mobility and power output metals.
  5.
  6. "Maybe... 20 Nyeshk… 15 Arcaniuam… 20 Mythril… 40 Adamantite And... 20 Orchilacum...Maybe some Tyrium, Copper and Iron to bolt it down, make sure it doesn't move too easily..."
  7.
  8. He thinks about the little details over and over... "Operated..." He drags the pencil to draw a simple image, the plates and where the runes will be for the Magi to pour in their best long ranged attack..."By three magi... And powered, by their amplified ability... Be it... Lightning...Fire...The Stars... Then in that case, I'll need one of every... Elemental Crystal," said the Captain, theorizing the day this cannon of his would be made.

  10.
  11. 13:14] Uri Sanctum says, "Xyth..."
  12. [13:15] Xyth asks, "Hm?"
  13. [13:15] Xyth asks, "What is it Uri?"
  14. [13:15] Uri Sanctum asks, "How much you think a cannon would cost?"
  15. [13:15] Elijah Azar says, "......................."
  16. [13:15] Uri Sanctum says, "Not just any cannon either..."
  17. [13:15] Uri Sanctum says, "A Runed, Magi Functioned Cannon..."
  18. [13:17] Xyth looked toward Uri for a moment only to tilt his head at the guy and then did a double take.
  19.
  20. "A Magi, runed, Cannon? Um...im not a artificer, but just for one that had serious power.....maybe Fifteen thousand for one?"
  21.
  22. He'd look toward Skylar, only to blink a few times.
  23.
  24. "Skylar, you up and about for training with your son?"
  25. (Xyth)
  26. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  27.
  28. [13:17] Uri Sanctum says, "Believe me, he's more well off than ya'are led to believe hehe... Actually----"
  29. [13:17] Uri felt a disturbance in the force...The Glare.
  30. (Uri Sanctum)
  31. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  32.
  33. [13:18] Skylar Chuckles
  34. (Skylar Azar)
  35. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  36. [13:21] He chuckled nervously at this. But he would assure the Azar of the safety of her son, possibly her only child.
  37.
  38. "He'll always be safe aboard my ship... Why, I've actually been meaning to tell him more about our upcoming journey."
  39.
  40. He looks to Xyth, "It does sound expensive doesn't it? A magi cannon of that caliber?....Well, it only gives us all the more reason to seek out these adventures, so that we can make such a weapon in the events that we might have to face another dragon or... Giant mass of beast."
  41. (Uri Sanctum)
  42. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  43.
  44. [13:21] Uri Sanctum says, "We'll have a meeting about this later as well."
  45. [13:22] Elijah Azar says, "That cannon sounds pretty awesome..."
  46. [13:22] Xyth says, "That's fine, though Uri, when you go to collect those 'hearts' please give at least one to Esbern. I have a Custom project I have him working on"
  47. [13:22] Uri Sanctum says, "Oh? The Arcanium heart? should be worth six pieces."
  48. [13:23] Xyth says, "Hm then he'd only need half of it really"
  49. [13:23] Skylar would nod.
  50.
  51. "Glad to hear"
  52.
  53. She would say simply. She then got a bright idea and smiled brightly.
  54.
  55. "If you guys are ever in need of an alchemist or Artificer I'm you're gal. I'll even give you a reduced rate!"
  56.
  57. She then turned to Elijah.
  58.
  59. "Oh yeah sure show me!"
  60. (Skylar Azar)
  61. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  62.
  63. [13:24] Xyth says, "No worries Skylar."
  64. [13:33] Uri would look at the both of them. "Actually, the three heads are here... So what's stopping us from doing a little brain storming, huh?" He would turn his eyes to Esbern.
  65.
  66. "I'll have to put you in charge of the project my friend, so do your best at staying safe... This might be the biggest favor I've asked for you yet! I wish to call it something more on the lines of... Hm.. The Runic-Antioch Cannon," the young Captain declared while turning his attention to Xyth.
  67.
  68. "Of course, the rest of the crew, such as us, will have to gather all of the materials... I am not sure though if it'll need more Arcanium than what we can hope for, or if it'll be easy to substitute something as simple as Mythril since it is a light element of steel, yes?"
  69.
  70.
  71. (Uri Sanctum)
  72.
  73. [13:36] "Hm!", esbern exclaims out loud. The antioch cannon... the last reminder of his own name, a true powerhouse in the seas... no doubt it would have to be something that struck terror in to the memories of all of those that fought against the soaring phoenix!
  74.
  75. "Yes, I can make it. Don't worry, Uri, so long as we finally have the materials... we can do it. But... it'll require a lot", he says seriously, staring straight into the captains eyes. Perhaps the captain didn't quite understand the sacrifice required? This would be no small tool... but something that would require the sacrifice of many even just to produce!
  76. (Esbern Tyr Antioch)
  77. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  78.
  79. [13:38] Esther Aryn exclaims, "Schram!"
  80. [13:38] He ponders the idea though.
  81.
  82. "But just how much will it need actually? How many journeys will it take us to make this cannon? after all, the idea came to me, from when we faced that dragon... Don't you think it'll make life a lot easier to just kill the beast without risking the lives of many? I'd think so... If anything..."
  83.
  84. He ponders the thought, "If we must, we'll recruit more blacksmiths... But, I don't know how soon our crew will get this weapon made... It won't belong to Osrona, it'll be a prize, a relic for only our crew," said Uri.
  85. (Uri Sanctum)
  86. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  87.
  88. [13:41] Esbern considers uri's opinion, and factors it back into his plans. He decides his previous concept is already ideal; if anything, its overkill.
  89.
  90. "Uri. If anything, this cannon will let us fight a kingdom that tries to chase after us. Trust me when I say this cannon will be a true treasure to the crew itself - and as for resources.... 15 arcanium at least, and that's if its thin. I'd want thirty pieces, maybe fourty, to make it perfect.", Esbern judges unfalteringly.
  91.
  92. This wasn't a tool for a single person - this was a tool for tens of people, to be used un-endingly without fail. A weapon of absolute power to crush any uncivilized folk that decided to make the mistake of trying to conquer their ship.
  93. (Esbern Tyr Antioch)
  94. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  95.
  96. [13:44] Wow! That was a stunning price! Something that was already rare to find, now a treasure they must find again! Arcanium! And so Uri thought to himself, hell he even spoke it aloud! "Ahahaha!!! Fifteen! Wow! That's a lot of voyages to come for us aint it?! It might take years, hell even a decade, but that goal will be reached won't it?" He gave his sights to Esbern and smiled at his friend.
  97.
  98. "To battle an entire settlement," he reaches for his own canteen and takes a large drink from it... "And even now, we wait patiently, to grow in strength, in case the day comes... We can defend Osilot, the very settlement that will be brought up and populated by many within our crew..."
  99.
  100. He looks to Xyth, "To have such a weapon, will surely keep Osilot protected for a long while, and I doubt anyone else will want to build one to rival ours, people are too lazy for such, they will only try to steal what we have, hence the reason forsuch a heavy offense."
  101. (Uri Sanctum)
  102. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  103.
  104. [13:47] Esbern grins with a wolfish desire, the desire of a true artisan and a budding shipwright;
  105.
  106. "Don't you think... battling other ships and tiny enemies is beneath us? You always speak of freedom! Our ship should be so powerful than any who decide against our freedom fall in a single strike. We aim to live, but if they aim to bar our lives?", Esbern continues, his expression one of a man with a mission.
  107.
  108. "Then they're the ones that suffer, not us!", he finishes dramatically, his arms splayed wide, his torso a field to those who see it, his shoulders as wide as the sun, as he is presented against the sun as a man stating his romantic dream.
  109. (Esbern Tyr Antioch)
  110. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  111.
  112. [13:48] Esther Aryn says, "Ish a crow."
  113. [13:48] Esther Aryn says, "It don't got a name"
  114. [13:48] Esbern Tyr Antioch says, "Its called muninn!@"
  115. [13:50] Elijah Azar says, "Just... Oh. Munin. Thanks Esbern."
  116. [13:50] He would give a grin to his Vice Wing, "And here I am freely saying that, we choose when to defend, and when to strike... Of course it'll be used to defend our freedom! Fool!" He gave his friend a playful nudge to the shoulder.
  117.
  118. "Think I'd ever use it to take someone elses freedom away? To have it at any risk of being taken? Even if the ships are tiny, they might carry assassins or the likes just to throw us all off... I won't take the risk, which is why this cannon must not only be powerful, but durable enough to function more than once... Three times I'd say!"
  119.
  120. He would take another drink of water.
  121. (Uri Sanctum)
  122. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  123.
  124. [13:55] Esbern shakes his head with a grin. "The more ore isn't to make it durable... its to make it accurate! more powerful! What makes it hard to use is that... it requires arcanium per shot! 3 for a minor shot, but 5 to truly tear apart the enemy!", Esbern declares with determination, his will as an artificer coming out as the viciousness of the machination is explained.
  125.
  126. "It's not for conquering, it's for freedom, Uri! As the captain, you understand that intrinsically! But... As the First-mate, I have a favour to ask. No, forget that!", Esbern says, with guts and a commanding aura oozing out of them.
  127.
  128. "As Esbern, First-mate and Vice-Wing of the Soaring Phoenix, I declare our next great voyage to be set for the lost cosmic temple!", he declares confidently, grinning as his best friend, sure that his best friend, Uri, is only interested in cementing his position of command for the future fleet.
  129.
  130. "Astrid herself requestedit! Uri, both you and I, at least, will see a lost cosmic temple!", he says, inviting Uri to the adventure his presence would've been required on nonetheless.
  131. (Esbern Tyr Antioch)
  132. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  133.
  134.
  135. [13:59] Uri heard the words of his Vice Wing, being advised of how the cannon should be used. How it wouldn't be used to conquer but rather to maintain their freedom. "I never said I disagreed with this! But you are right Esbern'o!
  136.
  137. He smiled at his friend and would even throw one of his arms around his shoulders, "All the other factors aside! One day, you're going to look back at this as the start of your greatest invention ever known! The Runic-Antioch Cannon!"
  138.
  139. He would then listen to the declaration made by the Vice Wing, "To set sail?!" Uri asked with a widened grin! He was excited for this! "You idiot! As if I would ever decline a voyage with my good friend and his spouse to be! Of course I'll sail with you! Even if this voyage puts a few marks on the Grand Stallion!"
  140. (Uri Sanctum)
  141. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  142. 14:02] Esbern grins wildly, knowing the freedom only the combination of a best friend and the beckon of the sea can create; "Uri! I'm glad you understand. I told her as such! She asked me to ask you for a favour... I told 'er - I'm the first mate, you and I don't ask each others for favours, we just act, and if we need help, we get help from each other! You and I, we're more than brothers. We're true friends, stronger than blood.", Esbern says overly dramaticaly.
  143.
  144. In truth, Esbern and Uri had been friends from childhood, and had been through life and death together. If anyone had the right to say what he had said, it would be them!
  145.
  146. "Just as you came for me in Myllenoris, I will come for you no matter what! Untill the end, we're crewmates!", Esbern says boldly, his voice booming with bravado, doubly so as he finally declares his best friends name; "Uri!"
  147. (Esbern Tyr Antioch)
  148. 14:15] Uri would stand tall with his friend Esbern'o as he was declared by such, and as such a best friend! He spoke to the lad with a passion, and kept Astrid in mind. "What's the code we live by? Take all that you can, and give nothing back, hehe!" The young Captain had his sights focused on the journey ahead, and the many after that and beyond the very end of the ocean itself.
  149.
  150. "We've been through so much and who knows? Maybe we will find some material for the cannon on this journey with you and Astrid... Even if we don't, I'll be glad that you two managed to drag me along!"
  151.
  152. He eventually sat down, turning his gaze to all those behind him. "And our own journey, I hope the dungeon master gives us that map soon so that we can make the voyage to Los'tal once more, and again...Destroy the maps we find leading to it, so that such a beautiful land would not be corrupted... Hopefully, on both of these journeys do we find the Arcanium for the cannon."
  153. (Uri Sanctum)
