Miyagi vs Barnes

	Mike was about to begin his unusual persuasion technique again, when the shop's door opened. Mr. Miyagi entered. Mike picked up a big fruit crate and threw it directly at Mr. Miyagi, but the old man was too quick for that maneuver. He ducked, allowing the crate to crash through the shop's window. Mr. Miyagi didn't flinch.

	"Nail him!" Mike commanded. His thug dived toward Mr. Miyagi. Mr. Miyagi blocked the flying kick with his left hand and countered with a lightning sweep that sent his assailant hurtling through the final shoji in the shop. Mr. Miyagi faced Mike, fire in his eyes.

	"I'm not afraid of you, old man," Mike taunted.

	"Mistake number one," Mr. Miyagi said, advancing toward Mike swiftly.

	"Kiaiiii!" Mike's explosive attack began. He charged and punched. Mr. Miyagi deflected the punch with one hand and grabbed Mike's wrist with the other. "Mistake number two," he said calmly.

	Mike tried to wrench his wrist from Mr. Miyagi's grasp, but Mr. Miyagi held tightly. Furiously Mike swung at Mr. Miyagi with his free hand, but his motion was hampered by Mr. Miyagi's hold. Apparently without effort, Mr. Miyagi seized his other wrist, now holding Mike by both hands.

	"Mistake number three. You're out," Mr. Miyagi announced. With that, he shifted the weight in his hips, and swung around, pulling Mike up over his shoulder and jettisoning him toward the door. He flew out, end over end, like a tumbleweed in the wind.

	The thug pulled himself up out of the mass of sticks and paper that had been a shoji and stumbled after Mike. He helped Mike up, and the two of them staggered to their car. When they were safely out of Mr. Miyagi's reach, the thug turned and delivered his final threat.
