- -He come across Corrin, whom he met way back in Granite Cave on his way to Fortree City.

- -Latias take them to Southern Island, where Team Aqua goons are lurking about in search of Latios and the Mega Stone
- -While Corrin distracts and take down the Aqua Grunts(Among them are Gerome and Beruka), Jalen head to the deep reaches and find Latios
- -He defend Latios from Leo and defeat him in a 2v2 double battle.
- -Leo retreats with the Aqua goons and the eon twins thanks Jalen and Corrin.
- -Latias fly them back to the route and leaves them, as Corrin grant Jalen not only a Mega Bracelet, but the Blazikenite for his Blaziken.
- -She leaves him be as he travel upnorth, unaware of Soleil receiving a call from Leo about him.
