  1. This thread has been pulled in many different areas of discussion over the past two weeks. Ultimately, this discussion served an important purpose in allowing valued members of the communtiy in expressing their concerns regarding recent incidents, known all too well, that occured and impacted several users. I think it is safe to say that discussion has died down on this thread to a level that allows it to be closed appropriately. At this point in time, there is '''no consensus''' gathered between the votes/comments below and the [withdrawn] proposal that outlines action that can be taken as a result of this thread.
  2.
  3. The only clear consensus at this point in time that all members of this discussion can work towards is establishing clear processes and appropriate policies/guidelines that govern user behavior and administrative actions. Our reliance in part on long-established and respected policies on other wikis, such as the English Wikipedia, is also a contributing factor considering Commons does not have a dedicated a policy on the use of multiple accounts (see [[COM:Sockpuppetry]] and [[COM:SPI]]).
  4.
  5. Please join me on the road to recovery by working on these policies/guidelines and creating an environment that our recently retired editors would feel more comfortable
