midsummer update

ohp it isnt monday but im doing a paste anyways. blame jay Kappa

Quick recap: since my last paste I finished (possibly) forever with KSSU, did some lit co-op Cave Story runs with Potato, and I've started working on KatAM hundo again. Streams for the next bit will mostly be that along with KNiDL any%.

Speaking of KNiDL I got owned by Kobral last week in tourney so I'm in losers' now, so I'm looking to make the long runback. Got WR back so I'm feeling decently confident, but top 6 is literally the 6 people with 38s so it's gonna be nuts. This is not even mentioning the fact that Shasta got a 38:40 in winners' semis the other day monkaS

To be honest though, even though I would like to win I don't really care too much how I place. The tourney's already been a pretty big success, so I'm happy about that, and it has also definitely dragged on too long. I know a lot of people are feeling the burnout. Personally I'm not burnt out on NiDL itself yet, but I do kinda want the tourney to finish at this point lol. SGDQ is definitely throwing a wrench in that though X_x

About SGDQ a lot of the runs I was interested in are at like 7 AM, and I'm too lazy to go watch VoDs (I still haven't watched SK's KatAM run to this day) so I'm not sure I'm gonna be watching a lot of it lol.

Stream plans: I'll probably grind any% until the tourney finishes with KatAM 100% mixed in and then evaluate from there. If I'm real close to 37 by that point I might keep going but otherwise I'll break until like October or something.

The reason I say I *might* keep going because I write my MCAT on July 19. That's also the reason I can't stream as much as I'd like to right now, since I've been spending a lot of time studying for it. Right now my life is like 80% studying and streaming, which isn't the worst thing in the world, but I'm really looking forward to getting it done with lol.

After the MCAT I'm in town for a couple more pretty chill weeks, but then I head out to camp for all of August so yea I'll be AWOL for a while. Gonna be lending Potato my capture card during that time so go watch him instead :eyes:

Slightly gloomier of a paste today but hey it is what it is. You can look forward to me and grample racing K64 + KatAM 200% sometime this week though, it's gonna be a hilarious trainwreck Ming

Overall though? God is good, life is good, and you all are great friends. Feeling blessed for sure :)
