Lewd Thoughts 9/24/16

Hey guys, just letting you know I'm going to try to put in a little more effort to streaming more often. I've been very bad at it the past couple months for various reasons, but I'm going to try to specifically schedule in stream time for a little bit and see how it goes.

Back in May/June I tried daily streaming, but that was wayyyyyy too much for me. Then in early July I got pretty burned out from speedrunning, so I opted to take a break from that and focus on casual gaming projects. One of those is my (still ongoing) Hope(tm) playthrough, which has been rather neglected since I beat the story. However, offline I've been working on other games, namely Terraria (on PS4, pls don't judge) to get all achievements, and lately they've been occupying my mind more and more. As a result, my stream has been getting neglected, and I feel I have to do something to change that.

I might start back on speedrunning more often. I don't want to fully commit to that (I'm hesitant to commit to anything these days) but if I do, it would be FF13 any%. I don't want to work on plat% at the moment (yes I know I still have to run it on PC, but I want to finish Hope(tm) first), I don't want to touch FF13-2 until I can get it running faster than 20fps consistently, and I don't feel up for LRFF13  at the moment but that might change.

As I said, my Hope(tm) playthrough is still ongoing, and hasn't been touched since I beat the story a couple weeks ago. It's not forgotten; I'm just procrastinating on it. In fact, I put in some thought of capturing some moments from my local recordings and sending them to YouTube as notable highlights. There is a problem with that, though--my local recording of chapters 8-10 was corrupted, and that was done on June 2, i.e. almost four months ago, so Twitch doesn't have the broadcast. Arguably everything pre-ch10 doesn't matter since you can't change the leader, but Cid was definitely a notable fight and that footage is lost. That makes me sad. But in any case, I'm still thinking about Hope(tm) and I do intend on finishing it, especially since I won't allow myself to touch/practice plat% until that's done.

But yeah, I intend on streaming more, and I intend on speedrunning more, so you can potentially look forward to that in the coming weeks. For a loose schedule, I am thinking of streaming Tuesday/Thursday/Saturday/Sunday, probably starting around 12-1pm EDT, though that might change (streaming in the evenings overall might be easier for me, though that does screw over Europe).
