background: Aviva has always wanted to be a dancer. She has taken dance lessons even since she was 6 years old. Her family didn't approve of her being a dancer. She decided to pursue her dream and moved to Korea and hopefully be successful enough to debut with a kpop group.

family: Her mother is a successful lawyer and her father is college professor. Her older sister is in medical school studying to become a doctor. They never accepted the fact that she wanted to be a dancer. They shunned her for a while and broke contact with her after she left Japan.
