- Jump 182: Lovecraft
- >Page of Wands (Inner fire that can drive away fear and replace it with fury.)
- >Age: N/A
- >Location: Boston, 1775
- >Identity: Inhuman (-400)
- Being human in this setting, while certainly possible to survive, is probably not a path to thriving. Plus, this is the inhuman chain.
- >Drawbacks: Crawling With Love (0), Weirdness Magnet (+100)
- It looks like I'm going to find out just how weird things can get during the Revolutionary War. This should be entertaining. If I see any anime girls around, at least I'll know that there's something very wrong.
- >Shoggoth (200)
- Adding the abilities of a shoggoth to my shapeshifting should be absolulely useful. And the other abilities of a shoggoth... well, needless to say they are nothing to sneeze at. Even if I plan on mostly travelling and not staying in one place very long, in human form.
- >Eldritch Lore (100)
- I'm not stupid enough to try any of those summon-things-that-should-not-be rituals, but knowing what IS out there, and what to look for on the human level, is useful.
- >Fearsome Visage (0, Inhuman)
- Well, I AM a shoggoth. If someone sees me in my natural state, they're going to freak the hell out.
- >The Waste Lands (400, Inhuman)
- This is why I am travelling and not staying in a single place for long. If I do, the color starts fading, things start getting grim, and eventually they fall apart. People lose vitality. Trees and crops die. While it's fine for this to happen if I'm sitting on a desert island, anywhere else this is a very bad idea, and I refuse to permit this to happen.
- After all, I'm spending ten years pretending to be human. It would ruin the point of pretending to be one if I'm killing them by merely being there.
