Osprey and Yang Episode 4

Taiyang Xiao Long. One of Ylisse's best trainers, known for his prowess with Dragons that earned him one of his many monkiers 'The Golden Dragon' and winner of 2 of Ylisse's Big 4....was currently sitting down on a video chat with his frantic daughter who have gave him some very alarming news.

Namely that his earlier tryst with Raven have produced with not one child...but 2 in twins. And that Ruby seems very adamant that he cheated on Summer with her. "(If there's one thing that she shares with Summer, it's that it's hard to argue with them cause of how emotional they can get.)" He rubs his face as he listens to Ruby's shouting. " DAD, HOW COULD YOU?!?  WHAT THE HELL COULD HAD LEAD YOU TO DO SUCH A HORRIBLE THING?!? I THOUGHT YOU LOVED MOM!!"

"Ruby.." He grumbled through his hand, yet she continues on as if she didn't hear him. "WHY EVEN HER OF ALL PEOPLE?!? MOM TOLD ME THE STORIES ABOUT HER WHEN YOU WERE ALL YOUNGER! SHE WAS A HOUSE WRECKING WITCH! MOM USED THE OTHER WORD, BUT YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN!!" "Ruby, if you can just cal--" "DID SHE USE SOME SPELL ON YOU?!? IS SHE ACTUALLY A WITCH!?? JUDGING FROM MY SIBLING'S ATTIRE, I WOULDN'T PUT IT PAST HER!!"

"RUBY ROSE!" Taiyang very rarely yells at her, so Ruby hearing her dad doing just that made her calm down instantly as he glares at her before softening his expression. "...No, I didn't cheated on Summer. Me and Raven had a thing long before I married Summer. It was a very short one, but apparently it made me a father to two kids I never met."

"..Oh.." Ruby blinked before clearing her throat. "But then why would Raven even hide them from you?" Suddenly Ruby's eyes widen as she scowls. "Wait a min, wouldn't Uncle Qrow know about them?! WHY WOULD HE HI-" "Ruby, volume." "Why would he hide them from us?!"Taiyang groans as he rubs his head, feeling a headache coming. "Well, as for the first question...Raven always act in mysterious ways, even when we hung out. After we broke up, we hardly ever seen her maybe once or twice per year...no clue as to why she would never tell me about the twins. As for Qrow.." He shrugs. "Well, Branwens tend to never betray one another...so even tho they may argue a lot, Qrow was most likely held to never spill the beans about them."

"I see..."Ruby look down in thought in her own ranch before frowning. "Well, I'll be having a big talk with him very soon!" Taiyang chuckles at her. "I'm sure you will.." A short silence between them was hanging in the air before Ruby clears her throat. "Well..they seem interesting.." "Huh?" Taiyang was thinking about something before getting brought back to reality by Ruby. "The twins. They seem interesting...They dress like Uncle Qrow does at times when he's not working." The father blinked before nodding. "Oh!...Well, that's nice..." He was very curious about them, but didn't know how to ask about them. "They both have Garus...The male being Osprey having a Zabel and the female named Yang having a pure one." She smiles a bit as does Taiyang upon hearing their names. "Osprey and Yang huh...." Maybe Raven still like him as a friend...well, although he don't have feelings for her anymore, it's nice to know she still cares in her own way. "And two Garus? Those are her favorite monsters. Raven's that is..."

"Ahhh.." Ruby nods as she listens to her father. While it was weird to hear him remember about an earlier relationship with a woman before mom, he didn't sound like he still like her. "Maybe you can meet them one day?" She adds as he rubs his chin and nods. "Yeah..one day..but we'll worry about that later...I got a tourney tomorrow to prep." "And you're gonna win, right?" They both chuckle at the confident claim. "Of course I will..good night, sweetie." "G'night dad!"

And they hang up as Taiyang sighs and lean back in his chair with his hands on his head. "...I have 2 older teens, huh?" He sighs and close his eyes. ".....I wonder what they are like..."
Meanwhile, at night time with the Branwen Twins...Osprey and Yang are currently in their basement playing with their instruments while their monsters just got done with their usual training drills with the Tire and Basketball. Only this time, they had Iori and Kyo switch around to do the drills so Iori working on his ACC and INT and Kyo with his POW and LIF. Osprey was playing his Bass Guitar while Yang was blowing away on her saxophone.

The two of them was having a lot of fun with them actually looking very into it judging by their swaying of their bodies and facial expressions with great focus into their art until they hear a very loud knocking on their door upstairs. Making them stop what they are doing as they scowl. "...Damnit." Osprey grumbles as Yang put her tool down and walk up the stairs followed by her brother as they head to the door and open it up to reveal a woman with long black hair that spread out like feathers with red eyes. Her attire was a simple red jacket with black flames on the sleeves that stop at the cuffs with a white shirt on with it tucked into her black jeans as she too have a collar on. Her busty chest and wide hips made the 40+ woman still very much desirable to most people as she have a pure Tiger sitting next to her.

"Hello, my little birdies..." She smirks as she walk inside past her shocked(As shocked as they can be) kids and plop herself on the couch as Hanzo walk inside and lay down before her. "Mom." They both say as they walk over and sit down on chairs across her as their monsters just walk in and see the sight before them. Iori looks raring to fight Hanzo now until Osprye put a hand up to stop him while Kyo cautiously look on as Yang beckons him to sit down next to her as Osprey does the same for Iori, the 2 garus approaching their masters and sitting down.
"...So I see you guys have settled down as trainers." She speaks up while inspecting her nails which are painted black like her son's as they nod "Yeah, with the disc stones you brought for us." Osprey speaks up as he place a hand on Iori's head and ruffles his hair "Thanks." Yang adds on, leaning against her chair and continues on. "We saw your battle yesterday. Nice win.." Raven chuckles and yawns. "Heh..it wasn't much, most of those trainers were just fodder for my Hanzo here..." Hanzo look up at her upon hearing his name and get pet on his head for his reward..
"I am more looking forward to your tourneys.." She sit up and slouch over as she look at them with a challenging frown "Hopefully you 2 have remembered your time at Regna Ferox Academy...." Osprey crosses his arms and nods with a frown of his own. "Naturally, we may have ditched classes here and there..." Yang sits up and stretches her shoulders and continue where her brother left off. "But we still managed to graduate in the top 10."

"As expected, but the real test begin now...no more practice monsters to use, your skill as trainers will be shown by your monsters in the ring." She gestures to the Garus before her. "Whether you are skilled or trash, will be known in your tournament debuts..."Raven leans back on the couch and yawns. "So...have y'all met Ruby?" The twins nods as Yang take over. "Yeah...she's...well...I suppose she's what you told us she would be." She shrugs as Osprey rubs his neck. "She's loud, kinda have self-confidence issues, friendly, and have a aura that make you can't ignore her." Raven hmms in thought.. "Yup, that's Summer's kid allright..." She sighs and closes her eyes. "And Taiyang? Have y'all met your father yet?" They shook their heads. "Not yet, we haven't had the chance to see him yet...but.." Just as Yang finishes, Osprey speaks "We're sure he knows about us." Raven cracks an eye open at them. "Oh?" "We told Ruby about our connection in the AYM office where we gave our ranch name." "We chose King of Fighters '93 as our name by the way." Yang butts in with the name as Osprey contines as if he wasn't interrupted, as Raven's eyes slowly widens. "And yeah, after that we left and got some food before coming here to train our monsters and practice our instruments..."

"....."Raven leans forward and put her hands together. "So...let me get this right....You all dropped that bombshell to Ruby..."
"Yes." "Yup."
"In a room with a bunch of teens and young adults.."
"Yes." "Yup."
"Who have access to Twitter and other social media apps..."
"...." "..."
"And which they will spread said bombshell like wild fire...."
"........." "......."

Raven stares at them as she watches the realization dawn on them. "Oh...." Osprey could only say that with a gulp as Yang blinks. "We fucked up?" "Well..."
Raven smirks and lean back in her chair. "Depends on how things panned out...but we can wait for that to come to us. I'm tired as fuck from traveling from Nohr and will crash here before going home. Wanna go party downstairs with the musical instruments?"
The twins nods and look at their monsters. "Iori, go to the shed and retire for the night." "You two, Kyo."

the two Garus get up and head out through the door to the shed as Hanzo stretches and lay down on the floor before the couch as the Branwens head downstairs to do their usual loud musical playing.
Back at Taiyang's home..he was currently sitting down watching TV when the door was kicked opened by his wife who look like she have stepped on a pile of Lego blocks as she walk over and thrust her phone to his face that shows the trends on Twitter that speaks of the Branwen Twins being the kids of Taiyang and Raven.

"You have less than 10 seconds to explain yourself before I rip your heart out and shove it up your ass and out of your throat..."
Taiyang's only response as he thought he was prepared for this only to know he wasn't...
"Can I have more than 10 seconds?"
