MUSIC FOR THE END OF THE WORLD: 2.0
It's finally here!
NEW FEATURES
★ RADIO. A whole new system of GTA-style, preset radio stations with chatty (text-based) hosts, loaded up with all the music from our packs. Anyone can make their own radio station with our system, just like anyone can make their own True Music addon.

★ MUSICAL ZOMBIES. Another new system that allows zombies to emit music. The Music Maniac is a new zombie that drops a lot of music and music-related items, and that can be encountered playing music. In addition to this, we've also introduced Special Guests, which requires a bunch of cosmetic mods but adds eight more zombies that use this system.

★ LOOT MANAGEMENT. Music for the End's loot system is now WAY more robust, and has gathered enough strength to begin invading other mods! If you have it enabled, MFTEOTW will automatically manage the loot systems of any other True Music items, meaning you can install as much music as you want and keep it rare!

★ NEW TRAITS. Six new traits that let you spawn with music and find more music in the world! Wanna' be the dedicated music guy on your team of survivors? Now you can!

★ NEW ACCESSORIES. We've added the Blank Cassette, a cassette that can copy songs from the radio or other cassettes, the Backpack Boombox, a wearable boombox that occupies the back fanny-pack slot, and Music Containers, a variety of different cases and bags for storing and organizing your music! There's also a new, highest-tier hoard called the Motherlode!

★ LOTS OF QUALITY OF LIFE. Among other things, we've updated TCCacheMP's songs so as to restore True Music's 'default' songs in B42, we've made boomboxes appear in different colors, added mod options to toggle True Music sounds and 3D audio for them, added new spawn locations, and made caches and rare cassettes substantially more rare.

★ MORE MUSIC? We've released a massive wave of songs for the Home Labelled branch, and have also released a 300+ song expansion called Music for the End of the World: Encore!
Song Replacements
- Replaced Whitney Houston - I Will Always Love You with The Eagles - One of These Nights because the original is now or was always in the base mod (TCCacheMP), so it's a duplicate.
- Replaced Foreigner - I Want To Know What Love Is with Led Zeppelin - No Quarter for the same reason.
- Replaced Cheap Trick - Out in the Street with The Whispers - And The Beat Goes On because the first song is not actually from before 1993.
- Replaced Boots Randolph - Yakety Sax with The Eagles - Desperado because Yakety Sax is in the original mod (but only as a vinyl (but now it's both)).
- Replaced Silent Hill track 'World of Madness' with an extended version of 'The Day of Night'.
Tweaks & Changes
- MFTEOTW now 'fills out' the TCCacheMP songs, so any songs that appear on Cassette or Vinyl exclusively now appear on both.
- Boomboxes and vinyl players are now tintable. You can find them in all sorts of colors! :D
- Any 'placeholder' item used in MFTEOTW's spawning logic can always be 'used' to produce a random item so that any bug will never produce useless items. These items are now called "Bloody Cassette" for zombies and "Unidentified Cassette/Vinyl" for regular containers.
- New spawn locations, particularly gloveboxes for cassettes.
- Added sandbox settings dictating the weight and battery consumption of the Walkman.
- Reduced default weight of all music items to 0.02 from 0.05/0.1, because this is their current weight in default True Music as of the recent patches.
- Reduced drop-rate of 'easter egg' cassettes by a lot.
- Made loot boxes slightly rarer.
- Reduced default drop rates somewhat.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed zombie cassette spawning logic. It should now be much, much, much more consistent and functional.
- Lots of little grammar and naming fixes. Please report any remaining typos or errors.
- Fixed incorrect version of Everytime We Touch being used.
- Fixed some sandbox translation file errors.

CLOSING NOTES: I hope you enjoy MFTEOTW 2.0! It was a lot of work, particularly for Albion, but I feel confident that it was worth it! There are still some features I wish to add to MFTEOTW--particularly a cassette/vinyl shipping warehouse, so if you're a proficient mapper willing to work on commission, let me know and we can work something out!

And that's all! Welcome to a new era of music in the apocalypse!
