Notes: Talk about well-mixed. This entry manages to capture the entire feel of Oceantrousle well whilst putting it’s own style on it. The drop legit sent chills down my spine. The high frequencies in the song, however, hurt my ears a bit, it felt really heavy on the treble, which I don’t quite like; this deducted it a few points and ended up in third place.

Notes: Since this entry intends to tell a story, I shall score it based on its story. This entry’s aforementioned story was thoroughly conveyed through instrumentation and motif usage flawlessly. But it didn’t feel like a unique story. It felt like the “Sans realizes everyone he knows is dead, he give bad time to player” storyline you see in a lot of genocide UNDERTALE stuff, but with SpongeBob characters instead. This storyline was executed really well in this case, but the story itself didn’t stand out to me as an actual unique storyline. And that’s why it earns itself second place.

Notes: To be quite honest, I was quite blown away by the overall aesthetic of this song. The usage of effects and sounds was stellar, exceptional, and other synonyms. I also really like the entry’s use of a unique drumbeat to give it a different feel. It paid off, that’s for sure. Nothing about the song felt lackluster or in need of change, it all melded into place perfectly to create a spectacular remix. So spectacular, in fact, that I think this entry is well-deserving of the winning spot.
