#PastebinMonday 12/26/2022 I'm Tired Edition

'Sup, doods!

I am not a particularly festive person. Several of the biggest holidays have religious connections (Valentine's, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, et al.) and I am not religious. It's hard to be when religion has been used to justify so many inhumane things, especially in recent history. But this is not the place to get lost in those weeds. Holidays do nothing for me, nowadays, but give me reprieve from having to sacrifice nearly half of my waking hours every week to secure the three things I need to survive: food, water, and shelter. I have an absolute right to life, dammit! Why do I not have an absolute right to the things I need to live?

I'm tired. I need more time to rest than I'm going to get. Today is a good day to do a lot of resting. There are leaderboard runs that need looking at, but there's absolutely nothing urgent to do today. I haven't been able to say that in a while.

Today's (permanent) extra streaming goals:

Goal #5: script and record footage for my Puzzle League tutorial series. Now I am writing scripts on how to speedrun the series, particularly Tetris Attack, Pokémon Puzzle League, and Pokémon Puzzle Challenge. I am streaming the scripting to commit to doing it. I expect to start recording gameplay once that is all done. Maybe I do that part on stream? Then I will need to record my talking points and edit it all together. I do not have the focus to do that on stream.
Goal #6: clean up my own stream layout. I am brainstorming how I want the final theming to be. I probably want to give people multiple options, maybe allow spending bits to change the look. I don't have anything written down yet. I don't expect to get to this anytime soon.
