- Alexithymiaa: -Steph sat outside on the rocks near the lake since the weather was so mild this evening and it's nice this week. Such nice weather. She had her notebook in her lap with the beginnings of the song for Liz scribbled on the open page, a bag of oats placed next to her so she could occasionally throw a handful to the ducks milling around the lake.-
- Covet: Felix came out of the house, with Nugget sort of following behind him , but then the dog got distracted with a smell in the grass. Felix walked down to where Steph was at, he had an ice cream sandwich in his hand and had taken a bite right before he got to Steph, "What ar you up to Red?" He asked her with a mouthful.
- AlexithymiaaAlexithymiaa : -She glanced up from her notebook to look over at Felix, scooting over a bit to give him some room on the rock to sit next to her. "Just working on that song for Liz. And feeding the ducks because everytime they swim over here, Penny loses her shit." She eyed the ice cream, raising her brows. "You know it's not actually warm enough for that, right?"-
- Covet: "Oh, being productive and have entertainment. Very nice." He said then glared at her, "Why does ice cream have a season? Who made that rule?" He asked. "I enjoy ice cream all year round in Tucson."
- AlexithymiaaAlexithymiaa : "Yeah, because in Tucson it's as hot as Satan's balls all year round. I'm gettign the chills just looking at you eating that out here right now." She gave a little shiver before looking back down into her notebook, tapping the end of her pen againt the page.-
- Covet: "It's not THAT bad" He said shaking his head and rolling his eyes. "This is only kind of chilly. You're the one out here in a short sleeve shirt and cropped bottoms. I've at least got a jacket." Felix said smugly. Nugged had finally wandered over their direction and sat down next to the rock tilting his head side to side as he as he looked at Penny waiting eagerly near the water, and the slight distant quacks from the ducks.
- Covet: *Nugget
- Alexithymiaa: "The houses literally melt over the Summer, I'm going to say it's that bad." Seeing Nugget joining them, she grabbed a handful of oats and tossed them at the water's edge, bringing the ducks closer to the shore for the dogs to get excited about. "Hey, it's not that bad. My legs arent cold, and my arms are only a little cold."-
- Covet: "How's your knee feeling?" He asked, looking at it as he went about eating his ice cream sandwich. Nugget started doing that ferocious puppy bark that's really not that ferocious, when the ducks got close enough.
- Alexithymiaa: -She gave a casual shrug, still a little annoyed about having to see the gym physician. "It's fine. I took an anti-inflammatory after dinner." She made loops across the top of her page with her pen, connecting them together and beginning to border the page with ink.-
- Covet: "Cool, good to hear." He said with a smile, "And hows' the song coming along?" He asked her, noticing her just doodling.
- Alexithymiaa: "Less fine. I'm a little blocked, but I'm hoping sitting out here triggers some inspiration. Really the only thing I can think about is the argument with my father on Sunday." She frowned, lifting her hand to her necklace to toy with the pendant.-
- Covet: "Ah, want to talk about it? Maybe getting it out of the way will help you go back to the song?" He said to her with a soft smile.
- Alexithymiaa: -She lifted her head again, turning to look at him. "I dont really know what there really is to talk about. He's a selfish asshole. That's the end of that."-
- Covet: "If it's that simple then what about it are you dwelling on. It's not like you didn't already know these things." Felix told her furrowing his brow.
- Alexithymiaa: "Just because I already knew, doesnt mean it wasnt easy to pretend I didnt. And considering he barely talks to me, it was easy to think whatever I wanted to. It's when he shows up and tries to pretend we're this happy family that it gets more difficult." She pouted, sticking her pen in her book and rubbing her knee with her free hand.-
- Covet: "Yeah, I suppose there's that. But don't let it keep you down for long. Until he sees how selfish he is, nothing is going to change." He told her, leaning over to rub her back.
- Alexithymiaa: "It'll be out of sight, out of mind soon enough. Kind of the running trend with my parents. Bryan and I kind of just identify ourselves as faux orphans at this point." She shrugged again, leaning over to rest her head against him.-
- Covet: "Faux Orphans. Shit, your guys' lives might have been way better if you were real orphans." Felix said nodding his head, before resting it on hers.
- Alexithymiaa: "I don't think so." She paused, pursing her lips. "If it weren't for my mom transferring and moving us out here, I probably wouldnt have picked a school on the west coast. And i never would have met some of my best friends, or you." She tipped her head up to look at him. "And that just doesnt sit right with me."-
- Covet: "Well, I can't really argue with any of that now can I?" He told her putthing his arm around her shoulder.
- Alexithymiaa: "No. No you cannot." She shifted to sit up a little, craning her neck to peck his lips. "How would you have been able to survive this year without me?"-
- Covet: "What do you mean? I've been doing just fine!" He said with a scoff at her as he kissed her back. "But It's definitley been a hell of a lot better with you."
- Alexithymiaa: "You've been doing just fine with me, but without me? I don't know. You might have had to actually live in a communal house or have a relatively normal schedule. I don't know, sounds pretty intense."-
- Covet: "Sounds more... mundane and I honestly wouldn't know because I've spent such little time there lately." Felix said with a chuckle. "Obviously things were more fun over here. "
- Alexithymiaa: "I'm okay with being the more fun option." She smirked, pulling her arms around herself since it was getting chillier. "I think we lead a pretty exciting life. There's never a dull moment."-
- Covet: "You can say that again." He said with a laugh, noticing she was getting cold. Giving her a nudge he spoke, "C'mon. I don't think you're getting much more song written tonight. I've thoroughly distracted you. Let's get inside where it's warmer."
- Alexithymiaa: "You've distracted me? That's definitely the ongoing theme of my life." She closed the notebook and set it aside, sliding off the edge of the rock and grabbing the bag of oats and her notebook. "Wanna make sure the dogs make their way inside?"-
- Covet: "Yeah I can do that." He said then went to pick up Nugget, and grabbed Penny's ball to whistle at her. He'd managed to come down with a decent system of getting her to come inside.
- Alexithymiaa: -With even less of a limp than she'd had previously between the knee brace and the anti-inflammatory, she started back into the, instantly relieved of the chilly air when she was in the warm house. She made her way into the kitchen to stow the oats, dropping her notebook down onto the counter before beginning to head toward the room.-
- Covet: After getting the dogs in he also made his way to the bedroom to get stripped down and into the bed, to get ready for the sleep times.
