The Kamatayan komandos is an elite and very selective unit, which specifically and dutifully serves the mysterious "*********** Queen". It debated between the few scholars or analysts aware of their presence if the group is a long-term mercenary outfit or some kind of 'honor guard' operating for a specific warlord, petty dictator, businesswoman, or powerful politician. The identity of the "*********** Queen" is highly classified and few living people are aware of her birth name and location, but members of the Kamatayan komandos regularly hear her voice and have an avatar displayed for them. This avatar encrypts and selectively censors the face, body, and dress of the "*********** Queen" so she is not identified.

The Kamatayan komandos recruit only from individuals that have been 'referred' by active or retired members of The Kamatayan komandos, or people who personally know the "*********** Queen". They are selected by a range of highly qualified standards, mixing requirements in psychology, physical fitness, and cognitive/mental capabilities. The Kamatayan komandos are expected to be talented in such a wide range of skills, talents, and capabilities; in order to allow a small team of them to complete as many missions or objectives as possible.

Like many other "SF" and "SF capable" units, the Kamatayan komandos have strong training and ability in unarmed combat, heavy weapons, demolitions, improvised weaponry, guerrilla warfare, and marksmanship. They are also each trained a specific skill set and are trained with a reserve skillset, in the event of losses during an operation. Kamatayan komandos operate in small teams, with each member having a skill they excel at, and a skill they have learned to excel at.

What separates Kamatayan komandos from other units, is requirements for them to also be "Direct Action" capable, and be able to operate as a strike force operating as light infantry. Forces as small as a single team to as large as hundreds of teams are deployed swiftly and covertly to capture or destroy objectives, using swift, brutal use of aggressive force. Through bravery, physical fitness, quick thinking, brilliance, strong light armor, and powerful objectives; they overwhelm forces up to five or six times more numerous than themselves.
