- Long, long ago, in the age before ages even came to be,
- there was a solitary world, floating alone in the endless
- void of the cosmos.
- This world was created by an entity of immense cosmic power,
- the True Ultimate Lifeform, who bestowed upon our ancestors
- not only life, but that most precious of gifts, free will.
- This world became known as Yutopia to its inhabitants, and
- the five races that lived upon its surface and within its body
- were known as the Progenitor Races:
- The Ancients, ancestors of humans,
- The Tesseran, fair elven people with mastery of magicks
- The Precursors, animal humanoids unified with nature,
- The Einst, who upheld justice and philosophy,
- And the Engineers, masters of technology.
- The five races loved the Ultimate Lifeform as it loved them,
- and eventually, they sought to stand with it on the same
- level, as equals in life and masters of their fate.
- So did the Engineers lead the charge in creating a lifeform
- not unlike their Creator, bestowing it with the collective power
- and knowledge of the Yutopian civilization, and gifting it
- immense cosmic power of its own.
- But alas, tragedy struck.
- This lifeform--The Master, as it would come to be known--was
- young, entirely incapable of containing or controlling its massive
- reserves of power.
- In a fit of madness, The Master self-destructed, shattering
- Yutopia to its very core, splitting the world into millions of wayward
- shards at the level of heavens and dimensions, scattering the
- Yutopians and their civilization across the shards for all eternity.
- Distraught at the apparent destruction of its most beloved people,
- The Ultimate Lifeform turned its mind inward, blaming itself for their
- death and coming to a twisted realization: They had done so of
- their own free will.
- So too did the Ultimate Lifeform self-destruct, hoping no other life
- would ever make again the mistake of free will.
- But yet again, tragedy struck: The Ultimate Lifeform split into
- two entities, one of Great Light and one of Profound Darkness.
- The Great Light, carrying memories of blame from his past self,
- blamed the Profound Darkness for being the cause of all disaster,
- and thus fought to seal her away, succeeding.
- Where the seal of the Profound Darkness lies, there are now
- four lost worlds orbiting the seal, a powerful star. This is the lost
- Arcadian world, the Algol Star System.
- Meanwhile, upon the remaining shards of the worlds, new life
- fostered itself as the Great Light slipped into slumber. These
- worlds became the many, many Arcadian worlds we know today.
- And upon those worlds, the descendants of the Yutopian races
- took hold, becoming the Arcadian races we know today. But still,
- a longing held fast in their hearts, wishing there were others out
- there who shared the same sky, the same destiny, never knowing
- the sad truth;
- That yes, they are not alone, that their Arcadian brothers and sisters live;
- And that one day, they will be unified by fate, destined to come together to
- save all Arcadia from those who would wish its destruction.
- I am the will of the universe, Akasha, and upon this record I recant
- the true foundations of Arcadia; its' Birth, its' Death, and its' Rebuild.
- Nam Arcadia, ego infinitum.
- For Arcadia, I Watch Endlessly.
