- A gang of bank robbers fight their way out of a zombie-infested London.
- This British movie is about a group of inept criminals who decide to rob a bank so they can save their grandfather's retirement home from being demolished by developers. Meanwhile on another building site some workers dig up an old graveyard and they get bitten by the "undead" which sets off a chain reaction. Then the bank robbers are cornered by the police while in the process of the robbery, but when they exit they find that they are all dead as a result of the horde of zombies. They have to get to the retirement home before the zombies do!
- A gang of bank robbers fight their way out of a zombie-infested London.<br/><br/>When I heard the title of this film, I kept thinking there was no way this could possibly be good. The reviews were consistently positive, but that title was just so bad. Hopefully others are not scared off by the lame name, because the critics were right -- this is a winner.<br/><br/>We have a rocking soundtrack that keeps the pace and flow going, one of the best chase scenes ever put to film, some clever moments in a subgenre (zombie films) that should be completely used up by now... and some elderly folks with big guns.<br/><br/>Others have said this is "Shaun of the Dead" meets "Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels". That may be fair -- it is as good as both of these films, and really needs to be seen. I can see it becoming a cult classic alongside "Shaun"...
- This is a low budget comedy horror along the lines of Attack the Block but with Zombies not aliens. A gang of crooks have to fight their way through a Zombie laden London aided by a team of old age pensioners. <br/><br/>The setup is clumsy and unconvincing but if you overlook this then it is pretty entertaining. There are plenty of laughs to be had from a witty if foul mouthed script and there are also some nice comedic set pieces. <br/><br/>There are some good performances especially from the older cast members especially Alan Ford and the late great Richard Briars. The performance of the younger cast members is more uneven but nothing so bad it's off putting. <br/><br/>Whilst nowhere near as good as the pinnacle of comedy-horror Shaun of the Dead this is an amusing and entertaining film which is well worth a watch. If you like zombie films with a sense of humour you'll like this.
- Matthias Hoene allows the cockney swears to flow as deliriously as the truly convincing blood splatter, offering a few unexpected gut-busters along the way.
