  1. The first to get the other one down on to the ground would win. Thor pushed the old woman and he pulled her, he tried to move her, to trip her, to force her down, but she might as well have been made of rock for all the good it did. She looked at him the whole time with her colourless old eyes and said nothing.
  2. And then the old woman reached out and gently touched Thor on the leg. He felt his leg become less firm where she had touched him, and he pushed back against her, but she threw her arms around him and bore him towards the ground. He pushed as hard as he could, but to no avail, and soon enough he found himself forced on to one knee ...
