  14.
  15. Rin strolled among the gardens of divine spring, a heavenly oasis of fertile rivers whose denizens were all of a four-legged, innocent variety. Frolicking rabbits, deer and other creatures of prey harmoniously danced among the greenery at bloom. Rin stood atop a great cliff, gazing upon the mortal realm through his anointed boons; as he breathed in the succulent, fresh spring air known for eternity within the realm of the gods.
  16.
  17. Having observed countless worlds in his massive demense, he'd noted all menageries of life across the cosmos; all beings who'd either evolved into higher consciousness or dabbled in the dirt, from ravenous beasts or lesser intelligences bent on raving and pillage. Some civilizations found themselves at peace, unified under a common tradition; ethnic homogeneity and pride-- others devolved into societies torn asunder by various factions of all walks of being vying for the same resources-- perennial war, inevitable damnation.
  18.
  19. Many had become disillusioned among Rin's contemporaries, viewing mortals as simpletons or crude; doomed to repeat cyclical chaos and succumb to a self-induced demise for all time. This nihilism and shrieking of the core tenants of the gods were obscene to Rin, yet he couldn't help but understand their frustration. As such, he sought to find evidence of the goodness of mortals; find a new world to observe-- to assure those that should rule rather than rue that their labors had never been in vain.
  20.
  21. This world was called Earth. Upon first glance, it was certainly not glamorous, even repugnant to some of the "cultured" Kais. Yet upon its dust-addled, charred core was a small fragment of those known as "Humans" who fought tooth-and-nail and to the death to survive the onslaught of that which had turned their once temperate, Goddess-kissed Gaia world into a sceered, miserable wasteland. Enemies from before became allies in the face of their terror-- wrath once thrust at a brother was united in common cause; and thrown vehemently at those that would destroy all Human life on Earth-- if not all organic life in the universe. Their determination, their ferocity; their undying will to survive, to cast aside petty differences to fight as one-- Rin grinned with giddiness and glee, knowing he'd found his world.
  22.
  23. "These people... they're just what we need!" dancing briefly, he'd rub his chin in contemplation: <We must, for now; simply see where they go... but there may come a day when I must intervene. Godspeed... warriors of Earth.>
