  1. [F4M][SCRIPT OFFER] Heartbeat-Heartbreak [SFW][Musician x Dancer][Scenic panic][Shy indirect compliments][Wanting to be closer][Cute...?]
  2.
  3. Synopsis: The practice is over. You are a musician in a group that will play for a show where dance is the main attraction. Yes, you are one of those in the background. You are not who is in everyone's sights, even so, one of the dancers that will be, decides to make you feel like the center of her world (And maybe some other things).
  4.
  5. *You will play as the Dancer*
  6. *All characters are above 18*
  7. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  8. ()= The Sounds effect I visualized
  9. []= The Tone of the voice that I visualized.
  10.
  11. I don't really mind how and when sounds are put or if you put them at all. I believe that you, the performer, knows about this much better than me. You have full freedom.
  12. *ALSO* If you want to change the genders or some lines, go ahead. I will not mind.
  13. Some lines may sound a bit unnatural, this could be because of my wording or the fact that English is not my first language, so, if you feel like some lines should sound more casual, with less ... fancy words? Change them if you think that will be for the best.
  14.
  15.
  16. ---Heartbeat-Heartbreak---
  17.
  18. (Up to you what kind of ambiance you want. People practicing/mumbling, low volume music, etc. Or maybe something intimate, you could even add an echoey effect, emulating an empty gym facility or something like that)
  19.
  20. [As for the voice, for this segment, try a friendly one. If you want to add a bit of "tired" vibe or "thirsty" (Not in that way), go for it]
  21.
  22. - Phew, it's a good thing that we can take a little break, right?
  23. - Oh, can I sit here?
  24. - None is sitting here next to you, isn't it?
  25. - Good. I have some water, do you want some?
  26. - Oh, I haven't opened it. So don't worry.
  27. - Oh no don't worry, I don't mind.
  28. - Come on, we've worked together in this for at least a month.
  29. - We are not strangers by this time, are we?
  30.
  31. (Just a short quiet pause, or if you want to add something else, do it)
  32.
  33. - Hey, I just wanted to say that you guys are doing great with the music.
  34. - Playing music live requires a lot of commitment and courage
  35. - What do you mean that is not that much?
  36. - You guys are the ones that are practically leading everything.
  37. - You are the ones that we all depend on.
  38. - I know that most people will pay more attention to us, the dancers, during the show.
  39. - But that doesn't mean that you should not receive a single compliment.
  40.
  41. (Another pause, maybe you could lower the background sounds. So not, thins sounds a bit more intimate, closer)
  42.
  43. - I'm actually, quite nervous.
  44. - So many eyes staring at us, at our movements and expressions.
  45. - I am not sure if I'm doing any good.
  46. - Sometimes I think that they just picked me because I wouldn't say no.
  47. - You don't think so?
  48. - You think that I'm doing perfect?
  49. - ... Do you watch me while playing? [Embarrassed]
  50. - Oh no no, it's ok... it's just... why?
  51. - Actually, I think I've seen you looking at us.
  52. - Just me? [More embarrassed]
  53. - Because watching me dance inspires you?
  54. - How come?
  55. - You think my movements and expressions are honest?
  56. - I don't think I get it.
  57. - Well, if you can't explain it, it's ok.
  58.
  59. [Giggles and relieved]
  60.
  61. - But I have to admit, It's nice to confirm that you have been catching glances at me.
  62. - Oh, no no, with that I meant to say that, at least I am not a disaster if you think that watching me worths it.
  63. (Short pause)
  64. - Oh haha, our roles reversed.
  65. - A few minutes ago I was telling you that you guys are worthy of praise, and here I am now, receiving the same words I gave you.
  66. - Well, now we kind of complement each other.
  67. - You play music, I dance.
  68. - It's like we have the same feelings.
  69. [Kind of mumbling it, shy]
  70. - Your heartbeat matching mine.
  71.
  72. (Pause)
  73. [Try sounding shy now, but also as if your lines were planned. Things are more intimate]
  74.
  75. - Hey, I have an idea.
  76. - What if, whenever you play, you do it as if you were just playing for me.
  77. - And whenever I dance, I do it as if I was just dancing for you.
  78. - Well, it's because I think that maybe it could help us a bit.
  79. - Since none of us will feel the pressure of performing for a crowd.
  80. - Sounds good?
  81. - Alright then.
  82.
  83. (Short pause)
  84.
  85. - I think that now we are a bit more synch.
  86. - We both have a common goal.
  87. - You'll play for me
  88. - And I'll dance for you
  89. - Almost as if our hearts were beating as one.
  90. [Yet again embarrassed, perhaps sounding surprised by your own words. Struggling a bit]
  91. - Oh but, I mean, I am not saying that we should do that right away!
  92. - Yes, it would nice and...
  93. - No, nothing is wrong with you it's just...
  94. - What I'm trying to say it's...
  95. - Maybe things should go slower?
  96. - I mean, I do have my own rhythm.
  97. - And you should have one too...
  98. - And, before even taking such a ... huge step.
  99. - First, we have to work hard in ... getting to own each other a bit more.
  100. - You know, like, check the sheet music.
  101.
  102. (Pause, silence)
  103.
  104. - Was I too straightforward?
  105. - I'm sorry I just...
  106. - You want to get to know me more too?
  107. - I guess that we have a good base after all.
  108. - What do I mean?
  109. - Well, when you said that while watching me, you see some honesty in what could be my feelings...
  110. - I do the same while watching you...
  111. - That being said, I know that you will not be a bad guy.
  112. (Silence)
  113. [Maybe almost to yourself, or low, mumbly, etc]
  114. - You will not break my heart.
  115.
  116. [This could be up to your interpretation. If you feel like you should sound hurt or no]
  117.
  118. - Oh no, it's just...
  119. - Sometimes people don't take a lot of things into consideration.
  120. - Like, your speed, your rhythm, your feelings.
  121. - Maybe we are a bit nervous when we think about performing because of that.
  122. - We are not sure if our true feelings will be taken the way we want to.
  123. - So, we hone our skills like speech, art, music... in order to communicate them accurately.
  124. - But, that is why, for at least you and me...
  125. - You know... with the whole dancing and music stuff.
  126. - We have to resonate, synchronize...
  127.
  128. [Cheering up or just relieved that you took it out of your chest]
  129.
  130. - Well, that was quite the talk. Don't you think?
  131. - Hey, it was ... good.
  132. - We'll do amazing for the show too.
  133. - Remember that, I'll be dancing just for you. Ok?
  134. - Yes, maybe doing that ... I'll be way more clear with my feelings.
  135. - I hope that you'll do the same. I want to feel like you are the main event.
  136. - Until then, let's keep practicing and getting to know each other more.
  137.
  138. (Pause. If you want to add sounds of "standing up" or the band/people getting back to work, go ahead)
  139. [Sound confident, in a loving way]
  140.
  141. - The break should be almost over.
  142. - Among all the sounds that will be there, I'll be looking for your beat in particular.
  143. - I want to listen to them.
  144. - And maybe one day, your heartbeat.
