 " The decision to stage a coup' to kill the Hokage was about as easy as staging a coup' to kill the Hokage. By that I mean, it wasn't easy. No where near easy. Infact, I challenge you to point out anyone who attended the Uchiha's meeting and ask them. They'd probably knock you right on your ass. This had to be the hardest decision anyone could possibly make. Even as a Nara, a clan known for it's strategic prowess found it a difficult task to process. We pride ourselves on a sense of unity. You can see it by how we interact with our cousin clans, the Akimichi and the Yamanaka. Hell, more than cousins. Those are our brothers and sisters. And it didn't stop there, we treated everyone like family. Even the Uchiha who were so often looked down upon and feared due to the circumstances of their birth.

We all tried to win over the other clans aswell. Needless to say, many of them refused. Except for those who fought on the lines with us. Through combat, we'd become part of the Uchiha Kinship along with the Inuzuka. A bond that made us all family, and a family that only wanted whats best for our people. You see. To us, a village is not it's buildings and walls, but it's people. So when eminent destruction came knocking, we sought to do what would save the lives of as many as possible.

Once the offer to end thew blood shed was denied, the Suna no Omo made an a private offer. Stating that the clans who had fought so bravely on the field, those who have seen their might first hand and were willing to lay down their arms and give in would be allowed safe haven in Iwagakure as they only fought a war and did not command it. However, this would come at a price. Help them bring those who have wronged us to a knee.

We knew the other clans would stop us from trying to evacuate to enemy territory anyway. So it was really no other choice but to fight. And the fight tore the village in half. It wasn't until the Yamanaka, Ina used her mind transfer to stall the Hokage that I was able to hold him with my shadow. Then, the whole battle felt as if it had come to a stand still. All forces turned to see us three, atop the mansion just before Chouizen's massive hand came down atop Hyuuga, Nanato. The mansion came down with us...I still have scars from debris piercing my shoulder and legs. And honestly, the fight left me with a few organs messed up beyond repair. Tax from fighting a Hyuuga.

The reinforcements in the form of Iwagakure came after that, helping with evacuations and pushing back the other Konohagakure clans. Many of the Shinobi who chose the wrong side ended up being captured and imprisoned while the village became an outpost. If only they weren't so goddamned arrogant.. "
