“Cecille, come to bed for the Chief God’s sake. You’re running yourself ragged.”

Cecille’s usually perfect blonde hair tells the tale. She’s been neglecting her grooming for two days, and more worryingly she hasn’t slept with you for three. Wight’s have a huge reservoir of magical energy, but a few days without spirit energy is enough to even bring them to kneel. “I’m almost finished! Just give me one more minute.”

“That’s what you said twenty minutes ago,” you climb out of bed in your underwear and approach her. You’ve had enough of her excuses. You turn off the desk lamp. Cecille sighs and puts down the leg she was working on. Empty runners and pieces of paint covered tape litter the table, a table that cost more than most houses in the Ward.

Tables are meant to be used; you suppose. You pull her away, catching a glimpse of the lacy black underwear under her baggy Redanner t-shirt. Cecille relents and her claws light up the room. She turns the lights down until the only thing you can see is the paired red and cyan glows of her eyes and claws.

“You spoil me. Why not drag me into bed earlier?”

“I’m sorry, we didn’t put it down on the schedule,” you smirk. You brush a strand of platinum blonde hair out of her eyes and pull her close, “I know better than to interrupt you when you’re working dear. I know this means a lot to you.” She holds up her arms and you pull the t-shirt up over her head, revealing her perfect breasts. You kiss her pale skin as she wraps her arms around you and pulls you into a close embrace.

You push her down onto the bed and climb over her, “Let me spoil you tonight Cecille. You’ll love it.”

She giggles, “I love whatever you do husband.” You pull down your underwear and slowly push inside of your beloved. Her cheeks flush purple as she lets out a sultry moan.

“You’re so beautiful. There’s no-one in the world sexier than you.”

She wraps her legs around your back and pulls you in deeper. The covers tangle around you. She grips the sheets as spasm of pleasure fill her body. Her eyes glow again, and you feel one of her ghostly fingers tickle the base of your spine. At first you found it strange to lay with Cecille in a bedchamber surrounded by model dioramas and shelves full of anime memorabilia – but you grew used to it within the year. It never ceases to amaze that Cecille has these two sides to herself. The confident, domineering, sexy wight mistress of an entire city, and the less mature side that finds deep enjoyment in delving into something like a TV show and building hundreds and hundreds of models.

 “How are you doing with my gift? Is it going to blow her away at the competition?”

“…I do not know if I want to even go husband. It would be a severe blow to my public image.”

“I think the younger undead would find it endearing. A lot of people are more open about their hobbies these days.”

“Perhaps.”

“And, if you stop hiding it from every other woman in the manor – we could finally move into a bigger room like you’ve been wanting for years. Didn’t you lend your volumes to Adele?”

“She read all of them while I wasn’t looking and watched every TV series. Yesterday she talked for two hours about the mechanics of her favourite Redanner suit.”

“Uh, she is still doing her work, right?”

“Yes. She simply reallocated her rest time to Redanner.”

“Reminds me of someone.”

“Shush you.”

“It is complete!”

You lean up from your spot on the grand bed and witness Cecille holding the completed model to the light. It is a masterpiece in its own right – with an original paint job that cuts a striking figure and weathering that makes it look real even in the embrace of your wife’s chest. She puts it back down onto the desk and takes a moment to admire her own work.

“This model was a challenge husband, but I will never be defeated by those Easterners. The joints have been replaced with higher quality die-cast replacements, giving it a superior sense of weight and better poseability. I’ve lined the mechanics with LED lighting. And perhaps most importantly, I’ve glued and cemented this piece to the ends of the Earth. You could throw it down the stairs and it will end in one piece still! I have outdone their original design, if I do say so myself!”

“Great! So, are you going to show at the contest. It’d be a terrible shame to put all that effort into it and not show it off.”

She winces, “I suppose I should. You did give me this so I could enter the competition.”

“You’ve already shown her how great your ward is, so why not dominate another space as well? And you already promised Adele to find a husband for her.”

“Fine! I will. I will show Amanda what I am capable of, we will see who the real Redanner fan is once and for all!”
