As /e/ is a board that's mainly about contributing images to a certain topic and not as much about the discussion of a topic (like e.g. /v/ or a lot of other boards). It's also a very slow board, but there has been an increasing number of text-only-bump-posts that contribute absolutely nothing.

If someone wants to bump a thread that has been inactive for a couple of days, they should always be obligated to bump with content, i.e. pics for the thread's topic.

I would like to suggest, that text-only posts do not bump a thread.
Alternatively, blatant, repeated bumping without contributing should be a bannable offense.

The latter however would be more work for mods/janitors, so I think the former option would be more effective and help improve the board- and post quality.
