The maids woke up later in the day, and soon after discovered Adelaide with a fever and delirious. After cleaning her up and moving her they moved her to another bed. The two maids exchanged a few sharp words and separated to be by themselves]]
  3. [12:49:03 PM CDT] * [Multi]_Yashiko pours some of the prepared broth into a bowl, and sets it on a tray. She carries it back upstairs to Adelaides, room, and takes a deep breath to compose herself before pushing open the door.
  4. [12:54:10 PM CDT] * [Momo]_Alexandria Finishes up watering the plants that seem to need it most and goes to clean herself up.
  5. [12:56:44 PM CDT] <[desu]_Adelaide> as the girls are in the house, there comes the "Ding Dong" of the bell for the front gate. It seems a visitor has arrived

  7. [12:58:15 PM CDT] * [Multi]_Yashiko snaps her head to the direction of the front door, and then snaps back to Adelaide. She dithers for a moment, then sighs and sets the tray of broth with its spoon on the nightstand. She picks up her skirts and hurries down the stairs to answer the door.

  20. [1:11:48 PM CDT] * [Multi]_Yashiko stands there on the other side of the gate, looking up at the man with her hands clasped in front of her. After a moment of staring, she works out another

  26. [1:14:47 PM CDT] * [Multi]_Yashiko looks at the card for a moment, then looks back up at him, her hands fidgeting against each other.

  28. [1:15:15 PM CDT] * [Momo]_Alexandria Watches the exchange, a little on edge in case something happens...
  29. [1:15:32 PM CDT] <[desu]_Adelaide> Why yes, I'm hoping so miss. I'm here on business and was hoping to be able to interview the maids of the household to potentially aid me in my current investigation. If that's not too much trouble to the Sakisaka family that is. [he adds]
  30. [1:17:38 PM CDT] * [Multi]_Yashiko wrings her hands again. She looks back at the house, and starts to see Alexandria standing in the doorway. She turns back to Dewitt, shuffling her feet, and says,

  32. [1:19:08 PM CDT] * [Momo]_Alexandria Starts to walk forward so she can join the conversation, trying to figure out how to help Yashiko.
  33. [1:19:58 PM CDT] <[desu]_Adelaide> Hmmm... if you're uncertain, I can promisie I won't be taking much of your time, or asking anything too personal about your, or your master's life. I'd simply like to ask a series of questions to know if you've come into contact with someone I'm looking for.

  52. [1:34:19 PM CDT] <[desu]_David_Dewitt> My client is looking for a woman - a maid, or she was at the time. They last interacted with her around nine or ten years ago. That would put her at about... 23-25 years old. She has natural silver hair, and orange eys, although it's possible she's changed one or both with dyes and contact lenses. My client discribed her as being frail, with a naturally weak constitution. The name they knew them as at the time was Adelaide.

  54. [1:35:45 PM CDT] <[desu]_David_Dewitt> I'm asking other maids, as they're most likely to have encountered her at some point, and because the maid's guild is extremely tight lipped about both their clients and maids.

  58. [1:39:12 PM CDT] * [Multi]_Yashiko gives another weak curtsey to the man as he exits, her eyes never leaving the ground until they creep up to watch him get in his car. As soon as he starts to drive off, she spins around to look at Alexandria.

  66. [1:47:21 PM CDT] * [Multi]_Yashiko pulls back her mouth into a tight line as she stares down at his business card. She nods her head slowly.

  68. [1:47:41 PM CDT] * [Multi]_Yashiko tucks the card away in her apron pocket.

  72. [1:53:50 PM CDT] <[desu]_Adelaide> [[as the two of you head back towards the house and open the door you witness Adelaide lose her grip on the stair railing and stumble, sliding down the stairs face first]]

  75. [1:55:47 PM CDT] * [Multi]_Yashiko gasps, following close behind Alexandria

  80. [1:59:51 PM CDT] * [Multi]_Yashiko darts off to the linen closet for a towel, leaving the two alone for a moment

  83. [2:02:26 PM CDT] <[Momo]_Alexandria> We'll get you some water, we need to get you back to bed though...
  84. [2:03:42 PM CDT] * [desu]_Adelaide closes here eyes as she says nothing
  85. [2:05:33 PM CDT] * [Momo]_Alexandria Decides to carry her upstairs and back to her bed so she can fetch her water and see to whatever else she needs.
  86. [2:06:27 PM CDT] * [Multi]_Yashiko comes tapping back to the base of the steps with a clean white towel, to find the two already gone. She skips up the steps towards Adelaide's room, where the cooling bowl of broth is waiting.
  87. [2:09:45 PM CDT] <[desu]_Adelaide> [[Adelaide doesn't protest as she's carried upstairs and laid back down, she does look at you pleadingly though]]
  88. [2:11:09 PM CDT] * [Momo]_Alexandria Concerned, she lays her down gently and pushes the hair back on her head to clear her face.
  89. [2:11:30 PM CDT] * [Momo]_Alexandria Looking back at Yashiko "I'll go get some more water for her."
  90. [2:11:58 PM CDT] * [Multi]_Yashiko strides to the side of the bed to wipe Adelaide's face with the towel.
  91. [2:12:04 PM CDT] <[Multi]_Yashiko> "Should we feed her the broth...?
  92. [2:12:26 PM CDT] <[Momo]_Alexandria> Yes, but I'll go get some more water as well.
  93. [2:15:50 PM CDT] * [Momo]_Alexandria Grabs a pitcher and refills it with water, trying to walk quickly back without spilling it.
  94. [2:18:29 PM CDT] * [Multi]_Yashiko , meanwhile, takes a seat at Adelaide's bedside and the bowl in her hands, and begins to offer spoons of broth against Adelaide's lips.
  95. [2:19:04 PM CDT] <[desu]_Adelaide> [[as the two maids care for adelaide she drinks from the broth and is slowly given water as well. you two act carefully to be slow however as she sputters several times in her weakened state]]
  96. [2:20:02 PM CDT] <[desu]_Adelaide> [[after a bit she appears satisfied and struggles to take more with offerings beginning to dribble down her face]]
  97. [2:20:51 PM CDT] <[desu]_Adelaide> [[she closes her eyes again, and begins to breath regularly. some color begins to return to her face]]
  98. [2:21:57 PM CDT] * [Multi]_Yashiko sets the spoon in the bowl and the bowl back on the tray. She stares at Adelaide as she nods off, and asks Alexandria in a very quiet voice,
  99. [2:22:25 PM CDT] <[Multi]_Yashiko> What if she's dying and he needs to know something that only she knows? What if it's the last chance...?
  100. [2:23:25 PM CDT] * [Momo]_Alexandria Looks at Yashiko, concerned and shakes her head.
  101. [2:24:26 PM CDT] <[Momo]_Alexandria> I don't plan to cross any boundaries that are not for me to cross. All we can do for now is try our best to take care of her and when the Mistress comes back she can decide what to do. About... all of this.
  102. [2:24:36 PM CDT] * [Momo]_Alexandria Motions in a broad circle
  103. [2:25:08 PM CDT] * [Multi]_Yashiko lets her head sink, but her eyes don't leave Adelaide. She doesn't say anything.

  106. [2:30:26 PM CDT] <[Multi]_Yashiko> There's some food downstairs, I made it for when Adelaide woke up...
  107. [2:30:51 PM CDT] * [Momo]_Alexandria Nods and heads downstairs.
  108. [2:33:32 PM CDT] * [Multi]_Yashiko gets up and walks to the door after her, taking the tray with her. She looks back and stares at Adelaide for a moment, then follows Alexandria downstairs for lunch.
  109. [2:42:43 PM CDT] <[desu]_Adelaide> [[as the two of you reach the kitchen, Alexandria heads to the sink to wash her hands, but a careless pull of the handle finds her with it in her hands and the water pouring full pressure into the sink]]
