- You're trapped in a room with two identical unlocked doors. One door leads to heaven; one door leads to hell. Also in the room are two identical parrots. One parrot always lies; the other always tells the truth. You don't know which door is which, but the birds know exactly which door leads to heaven and which leads to hell. As soon as you open a door, you have chosen and cannot go back. However, you also don't know which bird is which.
- Easy Mode:
- You get to ask ONE question to ONE bird. How do you figure out which door leads to heaven?
- Hard Mode:
- Also, both of the birds are invisible. Only you can see both of them. Asking a bird a question about the other bird will yield the answer "What other bird?" You get to ask ONE question to ONE bird. How do you figure out which door leads to heaven?
- God Mode:
- Both of the birds are invisible. Only you can see both of them. Asking a bird a question about the other bird will yield the answer "What other bird?" You get to ask ONE question to ONE bird.
- Because this is an extension of the Afterlife, there is a curse upon the room that prevents you from creating any hypothetical situations- as creating universes is God's job- or asking any question with the word "if". How do you figure out which door leads to heaven?
- ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~SOLUTIONS~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
- Easy Mode:
- "Which way would the other bird say is the way to hell?" Take that door.
- Hard Mode:
- "Which way would you want me to go?"
- God Mode:
- "If I asked you which door leads to heaven, what would your answer be?"
- The liar would ordinarily point you towards hell, but, as it must now lie about its answer, it would point you to heaven. So would the parrot that tells you the truth. Thus, go through that door.
