Fate of the World Session 4

It's been five days since your trip to the grocery store. And strangely? Things seem to be going back to normal. After that little fiasco (and you recovering from your wounds) you and Renee just...went back to work! Of course the office would only be closed for one day and want you back in as soon as possible. You thought that getting to and from work would be too dangerous, but so far? Smooth sailing and those little robot fucks haven't come back to wreck your car again.

"Yes sir. I understand. The best I can do is give you a refund."

Another refund made for a angry sounding customer. Truly, you have to wonder if this is Nyarly's plan instead of using demons or whatever else. And if that's the case, then you're royally fucked and the world is doomed. Lunch time goes by pretty safely this time as well. No robots, no giant bears, just you, Renee talking about how she and Sailor Moon have been getting along.

All while she asked for another of your chicken patties. Goddammit woman! The day goes by without any real issue and you and Renee go your separate ways once the work day is done. You're somewhat concerned, but Renee has kept her weapons on her (as have you) and she assures you nothing bad will happen. You decide not to press it and let her go, once you've returned home you plop down on the couch and turn on your tv.
"Man, I gotta say, your job sucks." Ace pipes up

"Please don't remind me." you sigh

"Come on, why not be a pirate? We'll grab a boat and explore the seas! I'm sure Ryza would be game for it!"

"Well...it does sound kind of fun, as long as we don't attack random villages or anything like that." Ryza said

"See she's all for it!"

You roll your eyes and let the two out of your COMP. It's what you've agreed upon as 'free time' to let your allies stretch their legs a bit. The second you do, Ace joins you on the couch, having become enraptured with American television and Ryza goes to your fridge, wanting to mix things. To be fair, she makes one hell of a gin and tonic when she gets like this so you let it slide.

The night is young! What will you do?

You decide to see what it is that Ryza is mixing up in the kitchen. You'll never understand how, but all she needs to do is throw stuff into one of your pots or blender and the next thing you know she's made something that top level chefs would probably only dream of. Well, except Gordon Ramsey, you've seen what that guy cooks and you're sure he's some sort of cryptid.

"Check it out Hiromu! I made burgers!"

You want to say that being able to make burgers from a pot shouldn't be possible, but your idea of what is and isn't possible anymore has really shifted these last few days. And you gotta admit they look pretty good.

"Damn, that looks amazing." You say taking a bite...and feeling revitalized at the same time. What the hell?

"Uh...Ryza, what did you put in this burger?"

"Oh nothing bad, I just mixed in some materials I had on had along with some of those stamina drinks you had sitting in the fridge. Oh I made some drinks too!"

She sets down a few drinks and you take a sip of it...and its friggin' amazing! Seriously, Ryza could probably make bank off of this. And you even get that same revitalizing feeling.

"Ace come on, you gotta try this!" You call to him

The three of you eat the food laid out before you(Ace being forced to limit himself) and when you're done only a few remain. Still, this stuff is good, you'll definitely wrap it up and save it for later.

Well, it's just a quick stop. It won't hurt to see Hanekoma, he's been nothing but a big help so far. You go through the left door, and you're greeted with...the front of Hanekoma's coffee shop. How in the hell...? You aren't gonna question it.

"Hey there Hiro, how ya doin'?" Hanekoma says with a wave

"Er...fine. Igor said you wanted to see me?"

"That's right. I finally got things under way and I got some gifts for you!" he exclaims with a smile

Reaching under the counter, he props up three things you didn't expect to see...



"What the hell?!"

"What's that reaction? I went through a lot to get these you know! Besides, you're gonna need these things sooner or later. Look, basically, I'm runnin' a shop for ya. You got the cash, I got the goods. Plain and simple."

"I...see." You say eyeing the guns over "So I got a choice?"

"That's right take yer pick! This one time, I'll cut the fee in half. And don't worry about Renee, she's already picked her weapon. She came by earlier."

"Well okay I guess..."

"I guess I'll take this one." You say picking up the SMG

"Excellent choice. That'll be 500 dollars."

You nearly choke "f-five hundred!?"

"Hey man, it's half off. Like I said, I had to go through a lot to get this and other stuff, so I gotta make up for it in some way."

"Tch, fine. take it." You say handing over the money

"Thanks! Now then, aside from some firepower, I also went and snagged some more regular use items. Things to keep your health up in an intense fight and things like that. After that incident you told me about with the noise, I think it'll help."

Hanekoma proceeds to place several different kinds of items on the table, some looking like plain old water to others being more traditional bottles of medicine.

You pick up some items you think you'll need. Medicine is never bad, anything to heal wounds is always good. The chakra drops are able to heal up magic power (as Hanekoma explains to you) so having that isn't bad at all either. With your wallet a bit lighter than you'd like, you decide to leave Hanekoma for now. As you leave though, Hanekoma stops you.

"Hey, Hiro...I did some digging...and that noise you fought...whoever called it in managed to pull you guys into the UG."

"The UG? The Underground? But how?"

"I don't know...and I'm not entirely sure, but it looks like someone from my neck of the woods may be prowling around."

"Any idea who?" You ask

"No...I got some ideas, but as of right now there's not enough to go off of. Just watch your six while you're out. Things have been quiet these few days, but don't let it go to your head."

You nod, and head back the way you came, once more appearing in the velvet room. Now what will you do...?

Well you orginally came here to see Mirei, no need to keep her waiting. You step through the right door to see her sitting at the desk with a smile on her face.

"Why hello there. It's good to see you." Mirei said smiling still

"Hey Mirei, How are you doing?"

"Quite fine, this place is actually fairly nice. I even get to check up on the digimon from time to time."

Wait Digimon? Okay, that answers a few questions, but raises more. You'll save it for another time.

"I assume that you wish to make use of my services today?"

"You got it. I hope that's not a problem."

"Not at all, shall we begin?"

You hold out the core in front of you like before, Mirei telling you to focus on the kind of hero you'd like to join your ranks. You think for a moment, focusing on someone a bit more tanky. Someone who can take a hit  and probably deliver some of it back as well.

"Yes...that's it...perfect. I see them now! Come forth!" Mirei exclaims as the bright flash of light fills the room. When it's done, a young man stands before you. A sword on his hip and a shield on his back.

"Hello, I'm Duran. I'll admit this is all crazy, but I'm always up for saving the world. I did it back home after all."

You shake hands with Duran, and he instantly disappears into your COMP.

"Come on Hiromu, we've got a world to save!"

"Nice to have you aboard Duran."

"An interesting Summon. Shall we continue or are you done for today?"

"Okay, let's power up Miku and Duran. How do I do that?" You ask

"Simple. Take the core crystals and focus on funneling their power into Miku and Duran. It'll be over before  you know it."

You take one Crystal and hold it in your hand, focusing solely on Duran. You close your eyes to help you focus more and sure enough you feel the crystal slowly ebb away until nothing is left. Once done, you turn to your COMP.

"Duran, how are you feeling?"

"Definitely stronger, that much is for sure. Thanks Hiromu."

You do the same thing with Miku, the twin-tailed girl chirping out her thanks as she feels herself get stronger from the next crystal

"Good good, is that all Hiromu?"

"Very well. Do return whenever you feel. The Digimon would very much like to meet you."

"Sure..." You say turning to leave, that's strange, you don't see any Digimon around though...

You push that thought out of your mind and proceed back to the main area of the Velvet Room. Igor still smiling once he sees you.

"I see you have gathered new allies, just like Ms.Byrd. I hope that their power proves useful to you."

"I'm sure it will, thanks Igor."

You don't say much more as you head out of the Velvet Room and back to your room. Well, you should probably go and tell the others of your new friends! You head downstairs and get the introductions out of the way, with Duran and Ace hitting it off pretty well, while Ryza and Miku seem pretty friendly too.

That's good, the last thing you need is some sort of fighting to break out amongst your friends.

"Yo Hiromu, time to cook up some more food!" Ace yells

Well okay, them fighting would probably be better than this.

The night passes with your friends eating your food and you probably having to make another run to the grocery store at some point.

God help your wallet.

The next day comes and it's another good one! No problems on the way to work, and Renee tells you she got herself a new summon as well during lunch (This time she has you split a hoagie with her). When you ask who it is, she doesn't tell you, saying it's a surprise for your next battle.

Your work day continues on with you doing the same. Dealing with humans that you wish you didn't have to talk to and the day is over. As you and Renee prepare to leave though, you notice a police car zooming down the street.

You twist your head to see where it's going. It's not normal for a car to be speeding like that and when you do see where it's going your face visibly darkens.

"H-Hiro...what's that...?"

The sky...it's black. No, to be more precise, only a single part of the sky is black, it's converging on a single area, and you're now seeing several more police cars race down the road towards it.

A part of you really doesn't want to see what's there, but you have a feeling that whatever is going on is going to require you to.

"Renee, get in the car, I think it's time to go."

"Y-yeah!"

The two of you jump into your car and while you want to speed towards the source directly, you instead have to go around through several different streets to avoid suspicion before you arrive at what appears to be the point of interest. It takes you so long that by the time you're  Rolling up to the area it's now dark, with only some small rays of sun visible. This is...the local college. You didn't attend this one yourself, but you at least know of it.

"Hiro...this is spooky." Renee mutters

"Yeah no doubt." You say stepping out of your car, the minute you do, your COMP springs to life.

"Hey Hiromu. It's me Hanekoma...I take it you've seen what's going on?"

"Yeah, I'm at the source now, it's the local college."

As you speak, you see the dark clouds envelope the entire area now, it's only serving to make things more ominous.

"That's good, because a barrier just went up. No one is getting in our out. We've got an entry point to the velvet room set up if you need to retreat or grab some gear. It should be right at the front of the college can't miss it."

"Got it."

You and Renee make your way towards the college entrance and sure enough the blue door is there...however, you also notice that there are several police cars here...all empty...and some bloody.

You decide to check around the courtyard. It's pretty wide, but so far nothing seems to really be out of the ordinary. That is, until you see the dead body on the ground. You have to stop yourself from screaming at the sight. The body is...mangled. With parts of it clearly having been chewed off. Not helping things is that it's already started to stink as well.

"Hiro, please, can we get away from this thing?"

You don't argue and move away from it. Now that you look around...there's tons of dead bodies here. It's damn near straight out of Resident Evil. Some police, some clearly students...whoever did this didn't give a damn about who got caught in the crossfire.

Before you can muse on this further you hear some voices coming from a little ways off. Thinking quickly, you and Renee quickly duck behind some bushes to obscure yourself.

"I'm telling you man, this is gonna be amazing! We're gonna make a new world, a world just for us!" One of them states. You peek your head from above the bushes to see two guys talking, judging by their looks their definitely a bit more on the delinquent side.

"Hehe, yeah! We'll finally be on top, no more rotten cops or authority figures to tell us what to do, and we get our own undead army. Man ya should have seen those cops when  they got munched on!"

The two continue walking and talking, laughing at the destruction around them, before fading away and rounding the main building. Clearly headed somewhere.

"What do you think we should do Hiro? Follow them?" Renee asks

"We'll let them go for now. We should try to find some survivors, see if we can get them to safety before we go tackling those guys or whoever else is roaming around here."

"Okay, let's go. Where to first?"

"The dorms, there might some students left."

The two of you head towards the College dorms and once you step in...it's not a pretty sight. there's blood splatters on the wall, the air is thick with the smell of iron and you're sure there are some dead bodies sitting in the rooms. Some of these people didn't even make it out of their rooms.

"Shit..." you mutter

"Yeah..."

However, as you head up the stairs, you hear a banging from below. You and Renee look at one another before doubling back and heading into what looks to be the basement area of the dorms. Looking at the hall, it's a bit more spacious, seeming like this is where the common area was. You hear the banging even more loudly, and when you enter the common room proper you see a girl just barely dodge out of the way of a monster albeit just barely.

"Eeek! H-help!" she cries as she comes barreling towards you

She hides behind you, however, you notice that she has a COMP on her arm...and she's holding a summon crystal too.

"Okay, it's only one zombie! We should be fine right Hiro?" Renee says

Yeah, so long as no more-"

The door you can  through bursts open, as a couple more zombies enter the room

Oh Goddammit...

"Let's go Renee!" You call out

"Yeah, stay behind us!" She calls to the girl

"R-right!"

You call forth Ace and Duran, while Renee calls forth a new ally.

"Time to make your debut. Let's show them your power Mythra!"

In a flash of light, you're  greeted by a...wow. She's definitely a looker.

"The intro needs some work, but now's not the time. Let's show these freaks that they shouldn't mess with the power of the Aegis!"

Mythra materializes a large sword, that glows visibly, making you glad that she's on your side...

The girl behind you stares at the (admittedly) weird group of people defending her. A bunch of video game characters and a cosplayer? She had no idea how they were going to defeat a bunch of flesh eating zombies especially when one of them was a half-naked man.

"Protect the girl everyone!" You call out to your "Don't let any of them past us!"

"You got it! Savin' a damsel in distress? Heh, that's something a pirate loves the most!" Ace chuckled

"I thought pirates loved booze the most?" You reply

"Women rank slightly higher."

Fair enough.

The zombies decide to shamble to you and you decide to greet said shambling with the best way you know how: Setting them on fire. To that end, you charge up your finger with fire before getting a hit in on one of them.

The zombie catches on fire, and while you're sure you hurt it you quickly jump back after it takes a swipe at you. Of course, they wouldn't really feel it and just mindlessly attack you.

Ace follows up with a flamethrower. His expert control of fire allows him to fire it without worrying about setting the entire building on fire.

In fact, he's so precise that the zombies just drop fucking dead right there.

"Huh, well that was easy." You say a bit surprised at the swift end to it all

"Well, they are just regular zombies..." Renee says "Probably aren't all that durable."

"Tch, talk about ruining my big debut." Mythra growled

"Oh don't be mad Sunshine, we're still in the thick of it, you'll get your time to shine." Ace laughs

"U-um...thank you." The girl perks up from behind you

"It's no problem. You're safe for now."

"First things first." Renee says looking at the girl "Who are you?"

"O-oh...I-I'm...Holly. Holly Keith."

"Nice to meet you Holly." You say "Now I've got a question if you don't mind."

"Um...s-sure."

"Where did you get that COMP?" you say pointing at the one she's wearing

"Oh...is that what it's called? Well um...you see...a few days ago...someone I knew, they...they started handing these out. Initially I didn't take one but...once things started getting weird and...and once the monsters showed up I managed to hide and I came here to get the one I'd kept in my room, but...I don't know how it works...this crystal thing doesn't seem to work. I saw someone get a bunch of zombies to show up and they listened so I thought I could do the same to escape but..."

She trails off, letting you finish it for yourself. she couldn't get it to work or perhaps just flat out didn't know.

"Who gave them to you?" You ask Holly

"I...I don't know. All I know is that according to some of the other people who had them some 'weird doctor guy' sent them over. He just appeared one day, gathered up some of the students and then I guess he taught them. I only know because a friend of mine went and they're...well I don't know if they're alive anymore."

"What makes you say that?"

"I...it's weird. It's like these things pick and choose what to attack. I thought wearing this COMP thing would keep me safe, but that wasn't the case...I can't help but think that there's something else going on here."

"That's...odd." Renee mutters "Maybe someone ordered them to attack you?"

"I...I guess. I know that those involved...they were rounding up survivors...for what I don't know."

"Well for now that's neither here nor there...it may not be my place, but I can show you how this thing works. If you get a summon of your own, you'll at least be safe."

"O-oh really? Well um...okay how do we do it?"
You explain to her everything that Mirei taught you and soon enough Holly is holding the crystal tight before a bright light fills the room, when it's done you're surprised to see...well...Aqua...from Kingdom Hearts

"I...what is going on...?" Aqua asks

"I-it worked!" Holly cheers before going quiet again "Um...Ms...Aqua, we need your help, there's a lot of bad stuff going on and um...if you could spare the time then..."

"I don't really understand but...looking around, things aren't looking to good. I suppose I can help you for now."

"That's good! Um...I think...if they were gathering people up, then maybe they're at the gym?" Holly says "W-we could try there!"

"Alright then, let's head to the gym. The sooner we get this finished, the sooner things will go back to normal."

"U-uh...okay, I...I'll be right back, I...I'm gonna need a weapon right?"

"That might be for the best." You say as Holly scurries off and returns a few minutes later with a bat, it probably won't do much but it's better than nothing

"S-so...l-let's go!" She says cheerfully

The 3 of you return your summons to your COMP(Aqua being a bit confused at the entire thing) before you leave the dorms. As much as you don't like it, you have to let Holly take point, she knows the campus better than you and with her leading the way, you're all able to reach the gym without any trouble. However, once you're there, she slowly opens the door, only to close it quickly.

"What's wrong?" You ask

"S-something in there! On a stage...b-big and creepy!"

You quietly motion for Holly to move aside and opening the door slightly you see...something on stage. Is that a zombie? You aren't entirely sure, but all you see is a bunch of dead bodies along with some of the other college kids. All of them with COMPS on their arms, but the most noticeable thing about this entire thing? The zombie on stage. He is absolutely shredding on his guitar

"Hooooooooooooooo baby! Come on Come on! Let's Paaaaaaaaaaaaaarty!"

The zombie shreds some more, the people all enjoying the song, it's almost trance like with how their raising their hands and waving them along with the music. It's almost like it's hypnotizing them.

It's a rock concert! But you're getting an eerie feeling from the lyrics he's belting out, almost as if there's something inherently demonic about it.

"W-what do we do Mr.Hiro?" Holly asks

"Let's try this the sneaky way. Holly, is there any other entrance points? One we can use to get near that thing without tipping him off?"

"O-oh! Um...there is a back way! It's usually for plays and moving in equipment I think...l-let's go."

You quietly close the door so that no one knows of your presence and you all follow behind Holly as she leads the way. Circling around the building you find a back entrance, perfect!

You go to open it, but to no avail.

"Shit, I don't suppose either of you ladies know how to pick locks do you?"

"Fraid not." Renee sighs

"O-oh I know! Um...Ms.Aqua if you could open the door?"

"Sure thing...but could we talk about why I'm inside this computer thing?"

"Not right now, you say in a hushed whisper. Just get the door open!"

"Fine..."

Appearing from Holly's COMP, Aqua takes out her keyblade and lightly taps the door, said door unlocking and swinging open.

"That's pretty handy." You say stepping inside

You all quietly trek through the halls of the back of the gym until you're right up near the stage. That zombie is still shredding away and you see one kid with a COMP on his hand headbanging hard to the demonic beats.

"Fuck yeah Lord Raptor, give em hell!"

"HOOOOOOOO YEEAAAAAAAAAH BABY. ROCK OOOOOOOOOOON~!"

Being this close, you can't help but feel just a bit fuzzy, it's almost like his song is worming its way into your head.

The kid isn't the problem here. It's this 'Lord Raptor'. But he looks undead, and if there's one way to handle an undead it's with a nice high speed piece of lead applied directly to their cranial caviety. With that being the case, you take out your SMG and carefully take aim. Raptor is too busy rocking out to see you so you wait a bit...take aim and then...

BANGBANGBANG

The noise that permeated the gym is now silent as the bangs finishing echoing throughout. The crowd stops waving their arms and the college kid that was next to Raptor is just as surprised as he watches raptor slump over.

"What the fuck." He growls

"That takes care of that problem."

"Who the fuck are you guys?! Wait...Holly? What the fuck are you doing?!"

"U-um...Damien...I um...I think that was for the best."

"For the best? When the fuck did I ask your opinion on anything?"

He storms past you, quicker than you can react before grabbing Holly by the scruff of her shirt

"You stupid bitch do you realize what you just did?! That was our ticket to the big time, we were gonna make our own world in here!"

Holly can only whimper in response before Renee steps in

"Hey, get off of her, just who do you think you are?"
"I'm her fucking boyfriend, but that's up for debate right now." Damien shouts back "Step off you old bitch, this is between us!"

"Old?!"

"That's right old, now shut the fuck up! And you Holly, I've got half a mind to beat your sorry ass. You won't be able to walk when I'm done with you!"

Holy shit, this guy is a bastard! You're about to step when Aqua is the one who pushes him back

"And who the fuck do you think you are?!"

"My name is Master Aqua, I don't know what all is going on exactly. But what  I do know..." She says brandishing her Keyblade at him "Is if you take another step, I'm not liable for what happens next."

"Liable, you think I'm afraid of a bunch of crappy cosplayers?! I'll kill all of you!"

"Haha, I like that! I like that spunk!"

You all whip around to see that Lord Raptor is rising to his feet again.

"Lord Raptor, you're okay!" Damien exclaims running back to him
"Hehe, it'll take more than that to down old Raptor! That being said though, I don't like my odds against these guys. So it's time."

"Time...?" Damien asks

"Sure is kid! It's been a nice few days, but now it's time!"

Raptor whips out his guitar again and begins playing a song again. "Now you guys and gals in the audience have been under my spell long enough, so my true is finally achievable. So long Damien, it's been nice knowin' ya!"

"Wait what?!"

Before Damien can say anything else, you watch as his body shrivels up into a dried husk, the same happening for everyone else in the audience. Their souls being visibly sucked out and transferred over to Lord Raptor.

"Finally, FINALLY. I'm free of that stupid kid, this college will be the start of my undead paradise!"

"W-what the hell did you do?!" Renee shouts

"Oh I just devoured their souls. I needed the power boost and if anything, the shrinking violet over there should be thanking me. I mean, bein' honest here, no strings attached, he was awful to her and that didn't sit right with me. So I offed him along with the others, I was looking forward to that part! Shame I gotta do that to little Holly too!"

He lets out a wicked laugh as he strikes a chord on his guitar "NOW C'MON BABY, LET'S ROCK!"

"Come on everyone, let's put this guy down!" you call out

"Yeah!" Everyone else replies in unison

"Take this!" Renee shouts calling forth a spark of electricity to shock Raptor

Mythra follows up, raising her blade in the sky and calling forth a ray of light to hit Raptor, this one seems to really do hit him hard.

You don't want to draw this out any longer than you already have and so you swing your sword with as much power as you can muster and you just barely manage to nick Lord Raptor.

"Hey Hiro! Let me touch your sword!" Duran calls out to you, a part of you wants to say 'phrasing' but now is neither the time nor place. You retreat to his side where he touches your weapon, a holy-like glow enveloping it.

Hiro's attack now count as light elemental for 3 turns!

"watch this!" Miku shouts staring to sing again, even though she looks worn out. This time though, the song doesn't affect you and your comrades, but instead targets Raptor.

"What the hell, I'm feelin' kinda weak! That ain't fair twintails!"

Enemy's attack decreased! They now deal -2 damage each turn!

"H-hang on Miku, I'll fix you up!" Renee calls out channeling her magic, a refreshing sensation washes over you healing your wounds.

Mythra does the same as before calling down ray of light on Raptor striking him again and causing parts of him to burn.

Lord Raptor begins strumming his guitar again, this time entirely focused on Mythra, As he does an black orb shapes in front of Mythra, she quickly dodges it...only to be hit by a second one that he'd managed to conjure up, hitting Mythra hard.

You rush in again attacking Lord Raptor, doing your best to try and hurt the zombie as well as you can. You look back to see Duran and Miku hanging near Mythra, acting as cover.

Miku once again starts singing again, and this time you feel a mysterious power slowly healing you bit by bit.

Renee attempts to strike Raptor with magic, but unfortunately it's not good as he deftly dodges it, almost as if he read her movements.

Mythra takes to the time to imbibe some medicine and fix up herself up.

Once again Lord Raptor tries to hit you all with magic but he fails! You all manage to dodge out of the way, and just when he thinks he's got you, you manage to easily roll away from him!

You continue your assault on Lord Raptor, slashing at him again, causing him to wince again. The light element on your blade causing him to groan in pain.

Duran, goes about imbuing his weapon with that same light energy as yours, readying himself

Miku once starts singing again, targeting Raptor again, who you notice begins to move a bit more slowly than usual.

Enemy's AGI reduced, he'll have a harder time hitting/evading attacks!

Renee attempts to strike Raptor with magic, And this time she hits him hard causing electricity to crackle all over his body.

Trait: Critical Resonance activated!

Mythra takes this as a chance to move in and hit Raptor with a really hard attack from her blade, burning his body even more

"You're all an irritating bunch! Go on and take this!"

Once again Raptor strums his guitar and More dark magic flies towards you all and this time only Duran and Renee manage to avoid the hit. With Mythra screaming in pain again

"Okay!" Miku replies retreating to your COMP. She's replaced by Ryza, whose already in a combat stance

"You too Mythra, switch out with Sailor Moon!"

Mythra, far more hurt than anyone else, quickly retreats, becoming replaced with Sailor Moon, who is like Ryza in an attacking stance.

You and Duran move in, with you laying on another attack towards Raptor with your blade. It's a good thing too, because after you hit him, that glow is gone from your weapon. Duran unfortunately, misses his attack though.

Hiro's blade is no longer imbued with light element!

Renee once again goes in for a thunder attack, shocking Raptor hard.

"Annoying little wretches!" Raptor growls and he starts playing his guitar again, more dark magic attacking you all.

Everyone dodges!

...Except Duran, who takes the hit directly. He  shakes it off pretty well though, getting back to his feet.

You don't let Raptor's newfound vigor deter you and you and Duran, go to attack him. However, both you and Duran miss your attacks, Probably thanks to Raptor no longer being slower than usual. However, while he dodges you, he's instead caught off guard by one of Ryza's bombs.

The bombs knock him into a prone position, perfect for Renee to shock him and Sailor Moon to hit him with her Tiara.

"Gyuh! T-take this! It ain't over till the zombie sings!"

Strumming his guitar, Raptor shoots out more fireballs. You, Ryza, and Renee manage to dodge, but Duran and Sailor Moon, get hit, with Duran taking a serious hit from it.

"Duran! Are you okay?!" You call out

"I...I'll live! He replies, staggering to his feet

"Right...good luck!" Duran calls going back into your COMP and being replaced by Ace

"Heh, this'll be easy. Come on Hiromu. Let's burn this bastard!"

You nod at Ace before rushing towards Raptor again and bring your sword down on him with great Strength! This time your hit lands true!

"Coming right behind you!" Ryza calls firing an orb of magic at him while and following up with a bomb. While the magic hits, Raptor is able to dodge the bomb with ease.

Following her is Renee who tries to shock Raptor again, only to fail, having missed him by just a bit. However, this leaves him wide open...

"Moon Tiara Action!" Sailor Moon calls out...and lands a direct hit! It's this attack that causes Lord Raptor to slowly begin to wobble and grow big almost as if he's about to burst!

"No! No! I was gonna have it all, I was gonna be on top! Damn you...Damn all of you...! I'll be back...and I'll drag you all to...to...!"
He doesn't get to finish the words as he fades away, gone in a flash of light, not unlike whenever one of your allies returns to your COMP.
