  1. [Current Day]
  2.
  3. Nearly two Sweeps after the Devastation of the TK Virus wiping out the majority of Trollkind, Verdant is beginning to settle as a solid Colony. The Brooding Caverns are churning out new generations of Trolls, the Fleet has become a hodgepodge of different Castes performing to the best of their abilities. Laws and Regulations have been restructured to bring Harmony to the planet of Verdant, and expansions have been made to reclaim planets lost to the Virus. Currently, under Her Empyrean Radiance, The Verdantian Colony has 60 planets in the process of restructuring. Things are beginning to perk back up, a new Era of Trollkind is slowly taking root.

  5. [The Event]
  6.
  7. Breaching Verdant’s airspace without warning and disabling the Drone attack via unknown means, a Large Ship comes to hover in the Planet’s Atmosphere and ignores requests for Communication. For several hours, this impossibly large craft hangs, blocking out the Sun, before connection is Established.
  8.
  9. “Oh wow, wait, you guys are like... Alive down there? Reely?”
  10.
  11. The voice is undeniable, immediately recognizable and echoes of ghosts.
  12.
  13. HER IMPERIAL CONQUERA has Returned.
  14.
  15. [Meta]
  16.
  17. With the expansion of Trollkind so vastly spread out among the Universe, it was only a matter of time before individual Colonies developed their own societies separate from The Imperial Standard. Mutations were rampant, Hemorebellion was an ever-growing thorn in HIC’s side. Slowly but surely The Empress was losing control of her people due to their exponential growth and spread-thin Colonization.
  18.
  19. A decision was made: The Scratch was sanctioned.
  20.
  21. A virus was created by Her Imperial Conquera’s personal Scienstiff team that had an almost 100% lethality rate on mass scale. The Extermination was planned, genetic material was stockpiled, and covert samples of the Virus were sent out to every arm of Conquera’s Colonization efforts to be released at one time. The effects of the TOTAL KILLOFF VIRUS were kept a closely guarded secret to all but Conquera’s closest- one of which happened to be The Grand Highblood.
  22.
  23. GHB on hearing the horrific genocidal plans used his influence over Verdant to have the Virus shot down before it reached orbit, refusing to expose his people to the horrors of HIC’s Scratch. To prevent suspicion of his turncoat, he abided by Conquera’s request to station him on Alternia to oversee the first release personally and report until his death on its effectiveness.
  24.
  25. Not only did The Grand Highblood prevent his people of Verdant from exposure, but other covert turncoats of his within Conquera’s ranks set out to send as many travel orders to Verdant as possible, targeting those with Strong bloodlines and expertise that would be needed to protect the people of Verdant from Conquera if she should ever revisit the planet.
  26.
  27. 11 Perigees after the Travel Orders were issued, HIC activated THE SCRATCH and the TK Virus acted as intended, killing off nearly all of Trollkind in a clean sweep to reset her people into something more manageable. Verdant was spared by their Merciful Leader, and the rest is History.
