- What is the 12 Hour Challenge?
- It's a goal created by Golden (Go1den on Twitch), in which you try to learn and execute a single speedrun of your game within 12 hours.
- So why Ni No Kuni? Isn't that kinda long for the challenge?
- The challenge has very... loose rules, which is great, since it lets you have freedom to do what you want. I've been curious about the game for a long time from a speedrunning perspective, and while this is almost certainly going to "fail" the challenge, I'm very excited to actually play the game through in one sitting.
- How long is the game? You've been at this a while/don't seem like you're very far in?
- The WR is 6:45, but I don't expect to get anywhere near that. In fact, I'm expecting to be at this for the full 12 hours, if not more.
- Why are you so bad?
- The run involves play while incredibly underleveled. To combat that, the runner is supposed to abuse a counterattack mechanic where you dodge an attack and immediately hit them after. Lack of familiarity with the bosses means that even going for them will probably be very risky.
