- >You are once again walking into town. Twilight said that there was someone, or somep0ny, that could help you with your clothes issue. She just said to ask around to find someplace called the Carousel Boutique. You asked her why she didn't just tell you, and she said that she wanted you to ask so you could make some friends. There are a lot of people out today. The people there have stopped just staring at you, and now they ask you questions.
- >Who are you?
- >What race are you?
- >Why are your teeth shaped like that?
- >What's your name?
- >What are you wearing?
- >You try your best to answer them.
- I'm me.
- Human.
- No reason.
- Aanon
- Clothes.
- >They seem confused at your answers. They don't seem to know what sarcasm is either.
- Does anybo- anyp0ny know where I can find the Carousel Boutique?
- >They all point to a weird shaped house with what looks like a carousel on top.
- >You can't believe you didn't see that before they pointed it out.
- Thanks everyp0ny.
- >You go to the front door.
- >Should you knock? It looks like a business, but maybe you should knock.
- Knock knock knock.
- >You resist the urge to knock more.
- >Come in!
- >You turn the knob and walk inside. it seems like a normal place. There's a big desk at the front, and the floor is wooden. It doesn't feel as homey as Twilight's, but then again she might not live here.
- >Why hello there darling! What can I do for you?
- >You turn around, and gawk at the girl.
- >She had hair that looked like it had been combed for hours, and was totally purple. She had a beautiful white dress on, and even had on white stilletos to match. It was a little bit of an overkill, but you don't say anything.
- Girl: Are you okay darling? You seem a bit flushed.
- Oh, sorry. I just spaced-out.
- Girl: Spaced-out? What does that mean?
- Uh.. it means that I wasn't paying attention. Anyways, Twilight said to come here because I need clothes.
- Girl: Ah, so you do. You are absolutely filthy! We must get you out of those clothes!
- Wait, but.. I'm sorry, what's your name?
- Girl: My name is Rarity! I am the classiest pony in Ponyville, and I am the best at making clothes in Equestria! And you are?
- My names Aanon.
- >Wow, she seems pretty confident. Or she just boasts a lot.
- Ok Rarity, but I'm just here to see if you have anything my.. style. I'm not sure if I want what the other guys here want.
- Rarity: I can see that. What is this you're wearing?
- >She points to your pants, and your t-shirt, underneath your jacket.
- Well, these are jeans.
- Rarity: I've never seen anything like those! I've seen some farmers use similar fabric for overalls, but never for pants. How interesting! What is that made of?
- My t-shirt? Let me check.
- >You take off your jacket, and you take your shirt off and turn it around.
- Rarity: What are you doing?
- >Did she just blush too? Is it socially wrong to take off your shirt?
- It says "Made in Taiwan", no wait, it says "100% cotton".
- Rarity: That's cotton? I've never seen anyone wear something like that, every stallion just wears plain pants, and plaid shirts. This is much more colorful. It just says "I'm a rebel".
- Are you ok Rarity? Hello? You there?
- Rarity: Oh, I guess I just.. spaced-out.
- >You can't help it. The way she said that just sent you laughing your ass off.
- Rarity: What, did I say it wrong?
- >You settle down.
- No Rarity, it's just that you don't look like someone that would say that. So, can you make more clothes like these? and can you give me some socks and underwear too?
- Rarity: Of course I can darling! Let's just get your measurements!
- >She raises her hand, and a tape measurer from the table glows purple, and flies into it.
- >So she's a unicorn too..
- >It doesn't take long to measure, since she doesn't have to hold the tape around you. She jots it down, and puts the tape down.
- Okay darling! They should be done by tomorrow!
- Tomorrow? How can you do it that fast?
- Rarity: Well, magic helps a lot.
- >Of course.
- >You say goodbye, and walk out the door, wondering what to do next.
- >Crap. How am I going to pay for that? You know that Twilight would, but there was no way you would let her if you could help it.
- >It seems that the town is starting to loose interest in you. You see somep0ny throw a newspaper away.
- >Perfect. Maybe they have a Help Wanted section.
- >You go over and pick it up. The first page you come across is the Help Wanted section. There was only one ad.
- >Help wanted. Need one stallion to help with apple harvest. Pays 10 bits an hour.
- >You had no idea how much a bit was, but it didn't sound too horrible.
- >Go to Apple Orchards and ask for Applejack.
- >Where the heck is Apple Orchards? You walk over to a pony and ask. She points you to a giant farm full of apple trees. Duh.
- >You might as well just go today, It's only noon, or at least the sun still seems pretty high. You start to walk to the apple orchard.
- >As you walk you start thinking about Rarity again. She seemed very nice, although a little too obsessed with clothes. You would definitely hang out with her again. She was really hot, but you know that with someone that good looking, there was definitely some competition. Besides, she wasn't your type anyway. You wanted someone who was smart, pretty, and made you laugh. You wanted someone like Twil..
- >You shake your head. There was no way it could happen. Both of you are from totally different planets. Besides, she probably doesn't even like you in that way.
- >You sigh. You just wish you knew how she felt about you. It would be a lot easier to forget about it if you knew what she thought about you.
- >You stop. You were already at the front door of the house in Apple Orchards.
- That was quick.
