  3. For Zhengqi, again I have very little to say beyond a solid 7/10. It comes late into the strategy, but it helps contextualize a lot of your midgame and plays well into the payoff you're looking for. For players, Chase's side of this was covered very well in the IC sections but it didn't feel like there was much mechanical integration into the strategy; there were points that I couldn't read your Jojolity at all, but I'm not going to give this lower than a 6/10. What's there is adequate, and I feel like the interactions between Jyotsna and Chase are enough to garner a good score from me. Good job!

  7. As for Jojolities, I’ll be brief. I would define ‘resolve’ as a firm determination to do what needs to be done. Perhaps the will to act, itself. It's a nebulous term, which can lead to varied definitions and executions. Personally, I found Chase and Jyostna’s ‘resolve’ present, but not much was done to further this idea. The focus was seemingly more on the two learning to work together, which was very compelling! However, I feel as though it strayed just a bit from the initial prompt. Thus, I’m giving their Jojolity a solid 6.

  9. As for Zhenqi, I believe she showed a good deal of ‘resolve’, determined to tear apart everything she’s worked towards to achieve victory. It’s a simple expression of determination, but it hits! Thus, I’m giving this Jojolity a 7!

  13. Both of these strats have fine narratives to support each of their Jojolities, though they also both get a late start in actually doing anything with them mechanically, leaving both of them feeling that they could’ve been fleshed out more. As I mostly only have the narratives to go off of though, I do think Zhengqi’s Jojolity works slightly better for me than the players’ does. The build up to Zhengqi deciding to finally “break the loop” she (and society?) is stuck in and start focusing on using the robot’s physical prowess instead of micromanaging the ability loop protocol provides a consistent throughline of the character’s “evolving resolve” during the match (I also really liked the bit of taking chunks out of her earlier monologues to make newer more dire ones as well).

  15. As for the players, I was kind of worried they might have forgotten about the Jojolity while I was reading the first half of the strategy. It does show up towards the end though I would’ve liked to have seen it more prevalent throughout the whole strat, especially since the angle of “Chase’s resolve vs. Jyotsna’s resolve” works really well for this match. There also really isn’t any mechanical implementation outside of focusing non-lethal attacks against Zhengqi.

  17. Gonna give Zhengqi a **7** and the player team a low **6**.
