  1. (This is a continuation of the last RP session logged)
  2.
  3. Seeing the tendril of darkness approaching and trying to consrict him, Eliandro quickly moved away from them and tried to remain calm but it was impossible, he frowned the man seemingly just tried to attack him. Boiling in anger, he yelled at him:
  4. "This is why everyone shun and despise you fucking occultist, stay away from me you bastard! Or I'm calling the guards." At least, it was clear that they were not going to be friends. Eliandro turned his back and went away from the man, returning to town.
  5. (Eliandro Potens)
  6.
  7. The angered retort angered Senju, infact, forced him to attempt reating... Violently.
  8. "You... YOU BEST WATCH YOUR MOUTH BOY!" He started to give chase, only to come to a sudden halt.
  9.
  10. ...What would this prove? Beating a child around, and heavily harming them for a mere exchange of words? What benefit would he gain out this?
  11. The depravity that tickled from within, urged him to go on... But he resisted, he -had- to resist!
  12.
  13. "....D-...Damn it..." He thought to himself, as the boy made his departure through the gates. Guards committing to their usual patrols along side the gate-wall, observing incoming and outgoing traffic were very visible from here... Enough, to finally bring him to a conclusion.
  14.
  15. "I can't... And I won't..." Although he wanted to, he wouldn't last a chance against guards of Frostvale, and here, Aziel wouldn't be able to save him as he did before. Not to mention, another Harukean had died here, he wouldn't want to be the second. He turned for the south, this travel only proving to come to a dead end, to start his travels south, putting on a hood for once... For the next destination was going to be far less pleasureable...
  16.
  17. ...Danarium.
  18. (Senju Haruke)
  19.
  20. Heading south, he found himself within Wychwood once more... It had been weeks now, and his pit-stop in Danarium had served him well. Night was closing in, and so a cavern would be best for now...
  21.
  22. He was heading west for the same cavern he recalled the sadistic doctor taking refuge in, now expected to be clean of residence, the perfect pit-stop, beside the horrid memories. Upon arriving however... He got a far different welcome.
  23.
  24. Rustling!
  25.
  26. He turned his head over to his right, noting some shifting shrubbery in the close distance.
  27.
  28. Yet another!
  29.
  30. This time, the sound came from his left..
  31.
  32. Finally, it was outright and blatant patter of footsteps coming from right behind him! He turned around to come across a familiar yet dreadful sight.
  33.
  34. "Well! Look what we got here, boys!"
  35. ...More bandits, and this time, a far larger crew than last time.
  36. Out of the bushes arose two, four, six....Eight? With the three approaching before him now, eleven in total. In his defense, a dagger under his cloak, strapped to his side by a belt.
  37.
  38. "Looks like we got ourselves easy pickings...." Their apparent leader looked middle-aged, and armed to the teeth. Upon his back? A titan, threatening with it's massive form. His buffed physical form suggested rigorous exercise, perhaps surpassing normal human capabilities and branching into magi-strength.
  39.
  40. "If you don't know who I am, boy... Name's Victor." He stood close... Not too close. The other ten encircled Senju, blocking all means of escape for him. He didn't even so much as twitch at this point, "I don't care whom you are, Valmasian." He retorted with distaste.
  41.
  42. A series of 'ooo's and rowdy laughter was aroused upon hearing such a reply. Their leader turned turned amoungst them, returning such with a grin and laughter, before re-fixating his attention upon Senju, the air grew silent and tense once more.
  43. "You aren't from around here, are you? Eh' doesn't matter, you'll find out soon enough.. That is, if you don't drop all of your possessions on the ground." He gave brief pause as though to allow Senju time to process this, only receiving a solidified angry glare.
  44. "That's right, I want you. To strip down. And place all of your stuff. On the ground." He tilted his head after a few seconds of no response towards Senju, something obviously wasn't clicking.
  45. "Hey, uuuh... You hard of hearin', kid?"
  46.
  47. Senju: "..."
  48.
  49. Victor sighed, "Ye'know what, I -tried- being nice with ye', but you're only being a pain in the ass. I'll just do you the favor of doing it -for- you, okay?" He begun backpedaling, ready for what could happen next. It was although he -knew- Senju was a magi. "Boys, take em' down." In that instant, five of ten dashed in for him.
  50.
  51. "Two from the left, Three from the right..." He analyzed the situation, taking note of the first one to close in at his right. Broadsword raised, pushed downward for Senju's skull! His body seemed to bend rapidly towards it's own left side, guided by the Harukean's extended arm.
  52.
  53. "Gravitonic Embrace:" The body levitated just outside of physical reach, limbs locked in place for the short while as well. A loud exclamation came from the left! The other one had arrived. The levitated body was shifted violently towards his left, aimed for one of the approaching attackers. His fingers curled into a balled fist, allowing a loud crackle to resound through the air.
  54.
  55. "Earth's Burial" His fingers loosed up, flicking outward, sending the body sprawling forth towards another bandit like a weapon of it's own. The terrain in the particular direction seemed to scatter up from the grasses, springing upward as though space was made below... The impact of two bodies sunk into the pit with relative ease.
  56.
  57. However, such wasn't enough to celebrate over... Not yet. One at his left, two more at his right! All of them closing in! He was running low on options..
  58.
  59. "Void Art: Atmos' Ascension!
  60. The area around Senju's footing seemed to light up cracks to the void, illuminating the scene of bright orange. Ethernal arms of the damned extended from such crevices, grasping at legs, feet, and even reaching obscure distances for loose parts of their shirt, and wrists. Their touch, sapping at life force they come in contact with. The remaining five outside of battle, alongside their leader, Victor backpedaled a bit, surprised at such a scene.
  61.
  62. "I thought you said this one wasn't that strong!" He quietly shot off towards one of his fellow colleagues.
  63. Bandit: "I didn't know, boss! I had no idea he was holding that much back!"
  64.
  65. Three bandits were ensnared within the proximity of the corrupted earth, the cries of un-summoned souls cried to the skies, their voices echoing softly enough to haunt Senju's victims until their untimely demise. A flash of metal... A concealed weapon within Senju's possession. "This ends, Now." A splatter of blood sprayed upon his face, a dagger plunged into the torso of one of those ensnared, his merciless gaze shifting over to now one of the two remaining.
  66.
  67. "On to you!" His death march quickly evolved into a full-on sprint, in no intention of leaving any of his attackers alive. The spell wore off, and the bandit was freed of the ethereal burdens, but his stumbling backpedal came to a crashing halt. A boom to the chest, and it was all... Just a dream now. His body began to tip over, and eyes widen at the realization of fate. His head thumbed upon contact with the grasses below, head nudging over, lifeless. Red streams poured from his chest to form a small pool of blood.
  68.
  69. Two victims, stabbed, with another one remaining...
  70. He turned towards him, slowly making his approach, bloodied dagger in hand. "Did you think..." Senju's voice was direly serious, pissed off at the thought of being constantly undermined. "That for one moment, I was going to let you get away?" The last attacker decided to make a run for it, turning tail and run. He was far faster than Senju, and thus a mere dream if the Harukean ever wished to catch and tackle him.
  71.
  72. Fleeing Bandit: "Stay away from me, you crazy occulti-" His voice was interupted by the violent yank back towards Senju. Gravity magic sucked in at the bandit, Senju's left hand extended out to his form... "Come." The force didn't seem to stop, propelling the man for his thrusting dagger!
  73.
  74. The sound of metal pushing it's way into flesh cleared the air of any serenity, and the hunkered body over his shoulder, impaled with a weapon no larger than 5 inches. He gave a push at the body, allowing it to tumble to the ground before him, surrounded by three corpses.
  75.
  76. From the patch of dirt where two bandits lay under, a hand sprouted out, fingers curling in as though reaching for help from the sun. Such caught Senju's notice, and soon enough his reply.
  77.
  78. "Compress" The soil, once loose, com-pressurized instantaneously, leaving the trapped bandits underneath., if not dead. Now, five bandits were defeated, leaving a total of 6 including their leader. Senju glared down at the bodies by his feet, his visage slowly shifting upward to meet Victor's own. Wrath reflected in his eyes, thinking of the many ways he could make this bandit leader suffer before killing him for his crime against him. A long uneasy silence carried forth, until...
  79.
  80. "...If I ever, see you again. I will personally.... Assure that there is not a single piece left of you on this blasted continent. Do you understand?" Senju's voice was as grim as ever, truly angry for the first time.
  81.
  82. Victor glared in return, backpedaling without words for the forestry behind him, the others of his remaining crew disappearing with him.
  83.
  84. Victor: "This ain't over, boy....This ain't over by a long mile."
  85. (Senju Haruke)
  86.
  87.
  88. (One IC Year later... Random appearances/attacks at this point.)
  89.
  90. The sound of bass rattled at the ears of those nearby, and the ground shuddered at the embrace of a new entity. This 'new' entity proving to be of a once near-dead Senju, making his appearance once more before the Black Wall.
  91.
  92. The grasses tore up, crawling through the skies about, scattering about in a blitz for the table before them both, only to overturn the table, leaving the two particularly unscaved has they decided not to budge. Now, a man clad in black armor stood as it's origin. Blades of grass fluttered down for his form, grabbed and consumed into dust by the tendrils that surrounded his form.
  93.
  94. Although he wore a different hairstyle and a burn across the right side of his face, thanks to a fateful blast of occultist energy, he stood furious, glaring at the likes of his two targets. Why he chose these two, wasn't quite known for the moment... But what -was- known was his slow, death march.
  95.
  96. "...Damn.... Valmasians.... You're all alike to me.." His voice quiet, a loud whisper, wrathful in every sense. Depravity radiated from his body in all directions, allowing those of inferior mana potency to feel it's cold presence sending pulsations through their bodies. This was this Harukean's way of saying 'Hello', and judging from his approach, his greeting was coming to an end..
  97.
  98. What was this?!
  99.
  100. (Encounter leads into an instant attack, short period of time passes and Senju commences another attack on another traveler in the same general area.)
  101.
  102. Katsuchiyo wandered down the meandering road through the plains, haggard and damp from his trek from Tilandre; where he had debarked from the prison ship, been declared a free man, and had purchased the shoddy iron broadsword across his back just a day prior. It was a strange feeling, not having irons clamped over his wrists, but it was one that he had been looking forward to for the past five years and now relished. The taciturn Samurai was aware of everything that surrounded him, or most everything, having been trained from a young age as a warrior monk in the temples of the island Elswehyr, away from the ravages of Valmasian politics and war. Yet his training had been dulled by his stint in the Tilandran hulk, his senses had lost some of their edge. In his heart of hearts, he feared that he would never regain them. The two boys he had been traveling with had parted ways with him shortly before, and while he wouldn't admit it to others or to himself, he missed their company. Following the path through the plains with the scent of sunflowers and sweetgrass wafting in the breeze, he stopped abruptly as a shadowy figure came into view. Why couldn't he sense this figure? Had the prison already drained him of his meagre talents, or did the man have a secret yet more baffling?
  103. (Shingen Katsuchiyo)
  104.
  105. As the shadowy figure made it's approach, the smoky miasma that radiated off his form suggested a recent fight, a fire recently burned out. However, the smoke that arose from his figure was far more potent than that of simple smoldering flames... Infact, these weren't regular flames at all!
  106.
  107. Tendrils curled and lashed out coating his figure, sliding against the dry grasses by his feet, consuming at their life-force with their dashes swipes, graying them into a forlorn eclipse to oblivion... Leaving nothing but dust underfoot and an encircling crater of dead grasses.
  108.
  109. "Filthy... Valmasian...." His right arm took a slight shift over to his left side, waving calmly across his form, Depravity seemed to radiate off his form in an ensickening, yet intoxicating bouquet to those whom knew depravity as he did...
  110.
  111. The grasses sliced from ther roots, scattering about in a torrenting rain to make way for an force to be reckoned with, A force without a face... A force... Heading straight for this passing traveler, Shingen! Completely unprovoked, and now tested with the prelude of what looked like nothing but malicious intent.
  112.
  113. As the force enclosed on it's target, the familiar boom of bass thundered as it closed in on the man... An Occultist with Gravitonic capabilities!
  114. (Senju Haruke)
  115.
  116. Shingen watched the occultist impassively, not making a move. So this was the power that the Black Arts held, that were so feared throughout Valmasia? If such legends were true, now was the time for parley or guile, not strength of arms, for in his present weakened state, Shingen would surely be blasted into smoke and ash in an instant. His reason taking precedence over his desire for an opponent, he watched and waited, sheathing the broadsword in the leather scabbard on his back, while his hand instinctively went for the empty but reassuring wooden scabbard on his hip.
  117.
  118. "I am no Valmasian, stranger." spake the samurai, his jacket and topknot blowing in the gentle breeze. "I am merely a traveler on these roads; a stranger in these lands, nothing more or less. Pray tell, what quarrel do you have with myself or the men of these lands?"
  119. (Shingen Katsuchiyo)
  120.
  121. "Don't you dare lie to me..." He snapped, starting his signature death march. Cold eyes traced up to Shingen's eyes, calculating... As he done so, his right hand gave rise once more. "You Valmasians are all the same to me, claiming to be foriegn or not. You all consider yourselves heros one way or another, but in reality..."
  122.
  123. His fingers curled inward slightly, blessing refuge to the manifestation of a transparent sphere. Such clear, yet surrounded with a surge of mana induced static, tainted black by the cold grasp occultism held upon the technique at work. This was no longer of his direct doing, but of a controlled extension via the circuit within these magically enhanced gloves.
  124.
  125. His fingers cuffed in towards the orb, allowing thin pillars of opaque violet light to illuminate his face, granting it a purple hue. The shimmer that radiated in his eyes was almost crimson, enough symbollism for the likes of this encounter. His fingers flickered out, propelling a single blast of concentrated void energy.
  126.
  127. It seemed as though he was fully intent on simply bringing harm to this man.
  128. (Senju Haruke)
  129.
  130.
  131. (Skipping everything without relevance to tendril manifestation)
  132.
  133.
  134. On all fours, a shirtless boy sprinted off within the clear area of the Praire Lands. Two kanines stuck out from the side of his mouth. A light trickle of transparent liquid slowly slid down his mouth as well, two ears were wavering backwards due to the wind pressing against him.
  135. He took a quick stop by the lake, his eyes trembling at the sight of a traveler... Who was he?
  136.
  137. Many scratches and bruises covered his body along with many dirt stains from running all day.
  138. "Huuh?"
  139. He muttered, he was anxious on whom this may be...
  140. (Zaka'ri Amachi)
  141.
  142. Senju had calmed down some, pacing westward simply to get away from it all, moreoff for solitary training...
  143. He was in the prarries now, some distance from the ruins crawling up for it's former glory dubbed Alteros, passing through Boar country.
  144.
  145. A single brave male pig bucked at him passingby, not even making acknowledgement in it's direction as it dared him to approach. He stopped at the sound of grinding dirt under it's hoove, preparing itself to charge had he brought himself any closer, beckoning his attention.
  146. His head slowly turned as though to play the game of intimidation, gravely shifting his cold, malicious eyes unto it, glaring down into it's own.
  147.
  148. The grasses around his form began to wilt, losing their flamboyant green glow, and soon after, the Boar began to backdown heeling over at what seemed to be a sick tummy.
  149.
  150. Without words, he turned back to his predetermined destination, west- Intercepted by something else, an Ookami whom happened to be looking up at him with a sense of curiousity, trembling at his sight. He didn't mind it really, it didn't seem to challenge him with a tall, or seemingly proud display. It looked quite pitiful... He disregarded it for the moment, just returning the frightened gaze with a glare of his own...
  151.
  152. A long, cold, heartless gaze... Taking the moment to decide what fate he should unveil upon this individual.
  153. (Senju Haruke)
  154.
  155. Upon recieving the cold glare, the young Ookami boy twitched a bit. He wasn't used to seeing others, actually, he had never seen another male/female. All he had ever set his eyes upon was all but the wildlife.
  156. "Uh... W-who are... You?"
  157. He muttered in an innocent tone.
  158.
  159. Slowly getting up from his seated position he slowly aproached the male, staring straight up due towards his low height, Senju felt like a giant.
  160. "I am... Zala'ri..."
  161. The Ookami stated, his words were followed by a light twitch of his left ear.
  162. (Zaka'ri Amachi)
  163.
  164. The implicively curious yet fearful Ookami continued it's approach, despite the Boar gaining reason to backoff from his stare, this one did not.
  165. As though ignited, a whip of cold flame arose from his form, lashing out at the child had he gotten too close. Now, tendrils erriely drifted around his form, surrouding him in a defensive matter, each acting as though it had a mind of it's own, adrift in it's own direction in a slowly lazy matter.
  166.
  167. "...Valmasian chiiild." His voice drew out abit, crackling as though his throat were sore, rumbling in a half-conscious groan. "What business do you have..." The boy was in his way now, and for some odd reason, he was demotivated for battle on the account that training fell higher on his list of priorities.
  168.
  169. "I haven't got all day..."
  170.
  171. "Huh? Wooow.."
  172. The Ookami stated, he was amazed... Was he a clown of some sorts? Approaching even closer with his mouth somewhat gaping open from the performance, he eyed each tentacle that whisped about in the smooth wind of the Praire Lands.
  173.
  174. Slowly reaching upwards, the child attempted to catch the tip of one of the tentacles. He was curious, he had never seen such.
  175.
  176. "Who are yooou? Are you a clown man? Do you do tricks?"
  177. The boy asked his eyes glimmering at the sight of the magic...
  178. (Zaka'ri Amachi)
  179.
  180. The depravity radiated from his figure was killing off the grasses nearby, and had the boy loitered any longer, he could feel the toll he brought upon those foreign of the nature of such darkness, of such occultism. More of a stomach churning feeling was to be expected, accompanied with the skin tingling chill it delivered.
  181.
  182. A disgruntled Senju glared upon the boy, his patience tried - Albeit, he resisted, but the urge only came back with a vengaence. Resistance was futile. A long, ghastly sigh escaped from his dry lips, a reflection of the unjudged reflected within his opaque irises.
  183.
  184. "I'd recommend running along, your fate depends on it. Child..."
  185. (Senju Haruke)
  186.
  187. "My... Fate? Is that a clown performance?"
  188. The boy stated, completly oblivious towards the situation at hand. The young innocent boy backed away due towards the sudden pain that shummered within his belly.
  189. The closer he was towards the male, his skin wobbled... He couldn't control it... What was he feeling?
  190.
  191. "N-no... You are no clown... You is... You is.. Dark man!"
  192. The Ookami uttered, his ears twitching from the presence of the male.
  193. (Zaka'ri Amachi)
  194.
  195. It seemed as though the boy was coming to a realization of things, however, with his prolonged presence had decided his fate. Senju brought rise to his right arm, hand limply extending out towards the child. His index curled behind his thumb his right index finger - Lazily aiming for the child from a distance.
  196.
  197. He didn't give him the pleasure of finishing his stumbling response to the essence he radiated, and seeked to bring it to a crashing cease. He flicked his finger at the child, generating a gravitonic response expelled in his particular direction, unseen but very much capable of being felt had the child any magic casting experience. Had such a force made contact, it's intention was to heavily nudge Zaka'ri's head upward, carrying his body backwards and away from Senju.
  198.
  199. The grounds around his body caved away, sending dust and smaller remnants of rocky debris into an omnimous cloud of building screen.
  200.
  201. "You should've taken my word for it, and scramed child." His voice was still rather moderated, hand still risen - Standing in wait for the dust to clear, eyes peeled for the Ookami, had such pulled off as successful.
  202. (Senju Haruke)
  203.
  204. What was this? The grass below began to tear at the sheer power that the male launched outwards at him.. Intense. Flinging off due towards the high pressure, he rag-dolled into a small crater seemingly created from the force of the push. Due towards his lack of durability, the crash into the soil of the crater was quite strong.. Causing him to feel immense pain.
  205. A light tear drooled from the right of his eye.
  206.
  207. "Oowch!"
  208. (Zaka'ri Amachi)
  209. He glared into the dust, clearing to reveal the downed Ookami laying within the carved crater. The crackle of raining earth upon the scene pattered at his form, smaller stones deflected by a thin, weak barrier of gravity magic - An experimental attempt that resulted in failure, and thus the commence of his departure.
  210.
  211. "As mentioned before, you should've taken my word for it. You're lucky to have survived..."
  212. (Senju Haruke)
  213.
  214.
  215. (Sometime later...)
  216.
  217.
  218. Unlike his usual regimen of hunting Valmasians to unleash his wrath upon, he rested calmly within the prarries. Resting in a pretzel-legged meditative stance, arms placed upon his lap and eyes closed.
  219. The calm breeze through the yellowed grasses were the only symphony to his ears, having no sort of disruptions from outsiders... Not here atleast.
  220.
  221. This may not have been Xsperita, especially in the small empire's dying moments, but with hope and knowledge of surviving Harukeans making it to Tilandrean shores from the small island off the coast, some distance from the mainland - He felt just a thread of hope.
  222.
  223. His reasoning on being here was rather clear, stripped down to bare flesh, revealing his upper abdomen marked with his Harukean Tattoo, The Oracle's Mark. A large transmutation circle enscribted upon his chest gave off a light orange glow, almost as though in response to the steady imflux of cosmic energies above.
  224.
  225. The cosmic blend of occultism was indeed intoxicating, but nothing he couldn't handle after years of weilding...
  226. He commenced his prayer, to his once strong Oracle, and Arbitor.
  227.
  228. "...Arbitor Xalvador, and Oracle Vieron... Let us, in this new age thrive in such lands... Let our people, our remaining children, eventually find a home in this hostile land.... Help me discover what secrets lie, to exterminate every last one of them... The hypocrites that kill off our peoples... The villians that hunt us down... The terrorists that hope to drive fear into our hearts... Such villians such as the Glacium, the murderous Nivis... Banditry amoungst Tilandre, and even hostile cults that'd pray around even lands such as the desert.... Grant us strength..."
  229. (Senju Haruke)
  230.
  231. His prayer done, he shifted abit finding some uncomfortability in his position. It wasn't anything to be too surprised off, he was sitting upon the back of what once was a strong, and lively Infernus Yokai. It's corpse gave some crapping in his legs, and with a shift or two, he went back into his prayers...
  232.
  233. His right hand rose from his lap, sliding up his steady frame to feel the nigh-carved tattoos, glowing the sickly orange. A long sigh drew from his lips, hissing with breeze, in response - the grasses wilted away from his body, and corpse bent by an outgoing force. He was refueling the mana burned by flames of darkness, with the alien energies of his certain star. Albeit unnamed, he had forged a connection with such years ago to grant him the power he used so freely.
  234.
  235. Today, was going to be the first time he utilized the tattoo, or atleast attempted via an unorthidox and invented method - Cosmic magic. Time given, allowed for such tendrils that extended from his body to feed off the corpse, deteriorating it from under him at a painfully slow rate, healing rather thin wounds in a regenerative matter to a minor degree.
  236.
  237. No matter how much he wished he could, there was no means of occultistic regeneration that could possibly bring back his lost 'pride'. One more sigh in preparation, and he was ready....
  238.
  239. "Fusion Art: ...." Seconds passed by evolving into minutes and nothing... What could he possibly do with such an art he could hardly fathom.
  240. Yet another sigh, this time of disappointment.
  241.
  242. "Arbitor Xalvador... Oracle Vieron, atleast give me a hint, some sort of help... An influence, guidance... Anything..."
  243. He fell to silence, head hunkered over in a solemn wait, a wait that lied in hope of an answer to his prayers....
  244. (Senju Haruke)
  245.
  246. Lyuria stops at the sight, that was the annoying kind of human she prefered not dealing with, but desperate times called for desperate measures. She walked up to him and eyed him for a few more moments before shouting over. "Oi, human, you up for a spar or are you busy with your...thing." She exclaimed from a certain distance, eyeing the ritual with a certain hint of confusion.
  247.
  248. She didnt quite pay any heed to his tatoos, or whatever he was doing with the infernus. She simply crossed her arms and awaited for the man's response, wondering if he was going to be the crazy religious type of human she urged to kill on sight. However, at her current state, she couldnt afford drawing attention like that, not until her training was complete.
  249. (Lyuria)
  250.
  251. Rather than an answer to his prayers, he was taunted by what felt to him as an offensive means of disrespecting his alone time. To the call of her voice, his eyes answered, flicking open. Although he faced in the opposing direction, the distaste he had for such an individual reflected in his opaque eyes.
  252.
  253. The corpse he sat upon, once a neutralized threat was suddenly victimized to a violent torrent of tendrils that encircled the occultist, diving into it's flesh and boring through it's body, transitioning the remains from dead flesh to a dusty cloud of ash that earned flight around it's caster. It cloaked him even for a short while, the next glimpse of the Harukean through such foggy remains was of him standing, head slowly turning for her.
  254.
  255. He muttered to himself, alittle louder now, without intention, loud enough to possibly catch Lyuria's ear as a response to her call.
  256. "...And now, I call unto our unified lord, Azreal... May he, silence those whom provide nothing more but a nuisance... To those..." A glimpse of his right eye could be seen now, half-turned with a stare that withheld it's own quiet intensity.
  257.
  258. He turned over with a half-step, bestowing her with an eyeful of his exposed abdomen. He has seen combat, and physical training before, but it wasn't enough to show off an impressive muscular form like other magi. Infact, he lacked sculpting, almost barely showing muscular abs nor buffed breast muscles. The major detail was the glowing shapes that formed the likes of the transmutation circle, this one alot larger than the one on his back.
  259.
  260. "....It's you again... What do you want." He asked in a dull, reluctant matter. Not in the slightest was he pleased to meet anyone of relation to Kudlak or Azeil.
  261. (Senju Haruke)
  262.
  263. (Conversation carries on, spar ensues)
  264.
  265. Lyuria's wing faded from her form, making her land with a soft tap upon the grass. She panted heavily but still stood, looking down at the man who she had just defeated. It was an exciting fight to say the least, and a pretty close call on her part, her saving grace having been her ultimate ability.
  266.
  267. "Well, that was a wonderful fight, I must say. It is a shame it had to end. I appreciate the spar, but I must get going now. We should fight again soon, but until then, we should both keep training." She said calmly before turning around and starting to pace away.
  268.
  269. She needed more, fight more people, get more power, there was no time to rest her body, no time to waste, she could not stop.
  270. (Lyuria)
  271.
  272. My eyes watched the flow of the mana circulating around the waters, each push and pull of the tide causing it to shift. For a moment, I almost fainted, the pull of the energy world almost dragging my soul into it. The technique was exhausting to maintain, but I was certain it would pay off. I raised my bow, the glow of my unnatural azure eyes reflecting in it's polished wood. With a sharp twang, I pulled back, nothing happening. I just desired to perform the motion; drawing on my magic as is, would be foolish and risky after having stayed in the energy world for so long...
  273. (Kai Eliana)
  274.
  275. Defeat, at the hands of an Oscuri?... It burned so, far more than the likes of any physical wound could possibly muster upon a man's body. This was a wound upon his pride, leaving him burdened on his way towards Alteros.
  276. As he made the trip, he was plagued with images, fast moving images... All of which, concluded with abrupt static and replaying constantly in fast motion in his mind, haunting him.
  277.
  278. His defeat at the hands of not just -this- Oscuri, but Mars and Azeil - The same entity whom seemed destined to rule over the ruins of Alteros. He was damned to serve a man whom could kill him with explicit ease, as well as humiliated by defeat by atleast every single entity he was forced to work with atleast once, not to mention his permanent scars from the encounters.
  279.
  280. Riddened of his reproductive organs, and slashed across the face with Hellstorm lightning, he was forced to relive the moments for the rest of his life, pained with the thought that he may never concieve his own children, knowing that he was bested by a mere thrall... He was forced to accept inferiority... To Valmasians.
  281.
  282. No amount of hunting, murdering, torturing, nor outright rage could change that. Unconsciously, he had changed direction, heading north instead - Soon enough, losing himself to Bygonegrove. He hadn't a clue where he was, nor an idea of what village he encroached upon. Byson was known for it's active distaste against occultists, hunting and exterminating them like vermin running amuck the streets.
  283.
  284. Few bushes tremored, hissing their disturbed tone to make entrance for a saddened Senju, finally taking his place at the cliffside. He wasn't quite aware that a young woman was in clear view just feet away, nor of Byson's visibility from this specific spot... All he could do, as of right now, was stare at the sunset with a forlorn intensity...
  285.
  286. Silence befell him in these moments...
  287. (Senju Haruke)
  288.
  289. Footsteps nearby, my sensitive hearing picking them up like movement on a radar. I swing around, bow raised, ready to fend off a potential Yokai incursion. I dropped out of the energy world, restoring my sight to normal - The presence of Yokai in my sight tended to bring about a wicked headache. I drew back the string of the bow, no arrow held, no quiver in sight - To all but a few, I would look like an idiotic child, an untrained archer, but my arrow was far deadlier than anything man could craft.
  290.
  291. Seeing that it was not a Yokai, did not cause me to lower my weapon. It was a man, and the brief glimpse I had caught of his aura, radiated a darkness that was unsettling. He was a thin man, somewhat tall as well, which gave him a lanky appearance. His black hair and choice of similar attire only made her more cautious of his presence; perhaps he was a bandit? "State your name and business!" I commanded, in a tone that echoed my mother's.
  292. (Kai Eliana)
  293.
  294. "Leave me alone, Valmasian... I've dealt with enough of your sort already...." He was miserable, nothing short of absolutely bummed out. All he had now, were the memories that haunted him, knowledge of his heritage that was dying with it's people, and the people he had left...
  295.
  296. He didn't so much as turn in her direction, finding place upon the edge of the cliffside to gaze the sun's shimmering reflection upon the ocean's surface. To be malicious, that was certainly a trait most occultists had during these times, especially those whom lacked mastery in the art, although as of right now, the aura seemed to be dampering, withering to a low flame cloaking his body.
  297.
  298. Less like a protective lining of tendrils, and moreoff a close-hugging flame with a seemingly self-conscious aura surrounding him.
  299. "Can't your kind ever take a krausdamned break?..."
  300. (Senju Haruke)
  301.
  302. "I am only Valmasian by birth," I stated bluntly, pulling the string of my bow tighter. I stanced myself better, providing myself with the footing I needed if I had to fire. "You're an occultist, aren't you? Give me a reason why I shouldn't just shoot you, plaguebringer?" I asked, accusing him of the dreadful sin that had engulfed the world in death and chaos.
  303. (Kai Eliana)
  304.
  305. He was sitting at the cliffiside now, feet dangling at the weightless feeling of hanging about. He tried to ignore the woman atfirst, however she acknowledged him finally, by occultist. He sighed, he must've been close to a village, or so he imaged. He turned over to Kai, a dull expression towards her, "Because you should be grateful, I came and left you in peace. To accuse me of your lands conflict, is the true ignorance here... You treat me like a villian, when in reality, it's the people whom raise the sword first against the likes of another country, another man, or even another ...concept..."
  306.
  307. "You stand upon the sidelines of those whom accuse entities such as myself if crimes of such sort. The mere thought of such proves only one thing. You -are- a villian, supporting men whom would kill people simply out of ignorant fear without understanding..." He turned away from Kai once more, gaze shifted to the horizon.
  308.
  309. "In other words, you're in my way.... Move..."
  310.
  311. "It's not ignorance." I said bluntly, cerulean eyes flickering with a brighter azure tone. "Occultists corrupt the world as they descend into depravity. They are evil, whether they choose to be or not. It is your dark mana that brought about the last plague. There is no sideline here, your corruption taints the world's mana flows. This isn't just limited to Valmasia; Occult arts destroy the world's balance."
  312. (Kai Eliana)
  313.
  314. (Prepare yourself for the worst RP I've probably ever posted thusfar in my opinion. I feel asleep for 15 mins, and then flash-typed it..... Enjoy)
  315.
  316. "Corrupt the world?"
  317. He looked up at the archer with obvious distaste. "You think just because of your experience with particular use of arcane of magic, because you've fallen victim to the sort of unfortunate peoples with mirroring magics, simply because of your own sad Valmasian lives, that you can bash all with such a fate.?! You're the sort of people that'd kill the innocent children of my people.. You're the real monster..."
  318.
  319. Your people... Your people are the only villainous monsters here." Although his words of defense seemed to spike his occultistic aura further into wavering tendrils, another property seemed to surface. Much like a star dwindling before going out in the skies above.
  320.
  321. Shardlets of light generated along the surface of the thick occultistic presence, radiating off his presence with a steadily generated breeze outgoing form his form. Cosmic magic was at work here, working hand in hand with his occultistic bending.
  322.
  323. "You monsters are the exact reason I've grown to hate people like you... Not to mention.." His eyes locked upon hers, pupils quaking, the reflection of Kai held within them complete distaste. The urge to 'teach' her, like the many others before her... However, he restrained himself.... For now, at least.
  324. (Senju Haruke)
  325. (Okay, after this point- Things were fixed up. So quality jumped back up to normal. ;\_)
  326.
  327. "Oh, you mean the hatred you have already? The hatred that empowers your magic? I'm not ignorant of what you are - You chose this path. No one is born corrupt; they walk that path by choice." I spoke out, silencing his argument. "I do not condemn you for your magic. I condemn you for your choice to follow that magic."
  328.
  329. With that, I opened my mana circuit to the infinite chalice that was my soul, allowing it to overflow. Lightning crackled to life at my fingertips, leashing itself from hand to hand, knocking itself like an arrow upon my bow. This was the reason I held no quiver - I did not need one. My arrow was far deadlier than that of the mortal plane's. This was the technique I had sharpened from my Magi ability and my mother's archery. I was one of the few successful Magi Archers in the world...
  330. (Kai Eliana)
  331.
  332. Having stood up, and shrouded one self in a cosmic induced cloak of tendrils, twisting upon one another in an errie fashion, resembling even serpents gathering up in a mass of bodies to procreate more in it's dissipating embrace. His head cocked slightly back, abit awed by the display. It was inventive and creative from his perspective, but as the flickering blue hue ticked his face, the danger amounted to his attention.
  333.
  334. "The hatred I have already was born from the many deaths of my kind, the blood that lies on the hands of -YOUR- sort, Valmasian. My reason to hate, is justified.. But the murderous onslaught your people have for the bloodline I pertain to, -that- holds no justification."
  335.
  336. A low boom of bass, rattled at their feet. Suddenly the air felt heavy pressing against and away from Senju. The nearby trees swayed away from the scene, not quite bending entirely at their base, but by the sound of the wood churning closer to their canopies, it was evident something was at work here. No hushing symphony of wind whistled at their eardrums, only the heavy presence that was Senju's...
  337.
  338. The sight of this weapon drawn at such close range did indeed spark something within. All of the torture.. The torment... And finally his loss, it left only one thing he could do, only one thing he could strive to be good at... Only one way to rid himself of the hatred... The Wrath...
  339.
  340. "If you wish for conflict, woman... Let it be known, that you too shall feel the brunt of my vengaence... So, are you ready to let that arrow of yours fly?" He referred to the manifestation of lightning, readied for her course of action.
  341. (Senju Haruke)
  342.
  343. I released the shot, a thunderous crack of lightning zooming past the man, a warning shot. Almost instantly, I drew back another, unfazed by the deafening noise of my art. "Drop the attitude. You're not in the position to be making threats." I said bluntly, "And stop calling me a Valmasian. I'm Alarian. Trust me, when it comes down to it, your hatred is childish compared to that of The Empire's."
  344.
  345. "Last warning, drop the aura, and I might just spare your life. So far all you've done with your spewing of death threats and displays of power and hate are prove that you are the exact threat that I described."
  346. (Kai Eliana)
  347.
  348. Boistrious crackling snapped at his right ear, the cloak resting on his shoulder tore upward, shreds of the apparel fluttered back for his amazingly untouched shoulder. A warning shot, obviously.
  349.
  350. Judging from the manifestation of yet another 'arrow', he could tell- Kai was indeed preparing to fire again, however, this time it seemed as though it'd do damage. How much he struggled to invite her attempt, he wanted to see if she had what it took to take him down. After what he's been through, life was just an endless lineage of torment.
  351.
  352. He didn't quite comply from the looks of it. He simply stood there, glaring unto her and her weapon, eyes upon the 'arrow' in anticipation. A weak curl of the lip implied his slight enjoyment towards her aggresson, taking on a rush of adreneline when 'death' was implied.
  353.
  354. Although, there was something that detered him... Even if it was only slightly, the term, 'Alarian' was unfamiliar. Was it another island somewhere off the coast of Valmasia?... Was it anything like Xsperita, home to the Harukean Clan?... Or was that simply another name for Valmasian. He didn't budge from his spot, testing her.
  355.
  356. "Exact threat, hm? Then tell me... Why haven't I slain you yet." His words were slown, spoken with a hollow aspect to them, and ended with a strong lisp.
  357. (Senju Haruke)
  358.
  359. "Probably because you can't, or don't actually desire to. It doesn't make you any less a menace." I responded in kind. "We both know that your corrupt art, while lethal, takes time to come to it's full effect... Whereas lightning's power is instantaneous. You could attempt to draw my life from me, but I could just as soon loose this shot into your skull."
  360.
  361. "The question you should be asking is why I haven't slain you yet. I've had it in my ability to do so; I could have laced you with an arrow before you even saw it coming... And even if I failed to finish you, I am certain that your occult energies would draw forth the Yokai, and I doubt an injured version of yourself could fend off the many beasts that haunt the Bygone."
  362.
  363. "But I suppose madmen don't apply logic, do they?"
  364. (Kai Eliana)
  365.
  366. Senju wasn't all that bright, he's attempted and commited to alot of things in the past that'd usually result in death for the common Valmasian, Imprisonment, and even permanent damage or dismemberment; However, he was not stupid, he knew of his limits.
  367.
  368. He gave a long solid glare, not at her weapon, but at her eyes as she finished her point. A madman... That was his new title? Perhaps, the three corpses of his past would agree had they grown the ability to do so.
  369. The tendrils receded to their caster, encircling around his body to condense... Shrinking and hardening until solidified in a thin layer around his form, unable to be submerged within his form at will, due to the fact that it was induced by exterior forces... Koar-Class, as well.
  370.
  371. Regardless, it hugged him to such an extent that it no longer shown in plain sight, however could be evidently felt in his presence by those capable. He no longer benefitted from it's presence, aside from the sickening feeling he gave off to the enviornment around him. He was, an auto-manifesting source of depravity at this point, consuming more energy from the cosmos and bending it in the form of a corruptive energy, once allowing excess to loiter about- sticking loosely to his form.
  372.
  373. All that remained was the dying grasses at his feet, and the wilting plantlife. Perhaps, the nauseous feeling spread out to those untamed to occultism.
  374. (Senju Haruke)
  375.
  376. With that, I allowed the coursing lightning that weaved between my hands to dissipate into the air, and slung my bow over my backside. "Be glad. You'd have been executed on sight if you wandered into the city. Occultists are not welcome around Byson, especially since the Seer of Darkness and the Plague were both brought about by such occult magics."
  377. (Kai Eliana)
  378.
  379. "I've heard."
  380. He responded in a monotone attire.
  381. "Although, I truely could careless for acts, creations, or entities that haven't relation to me, or my people."
  382. He couldn't help but notice that now she was unarmed, not once as she taken up the time to search him...
  383.
  384. Infact, his left hand ticking towards his belt upon his waist slowly curled around something solid, sliding it slowly from it's holster with eyes locked upon Kai. Her 'arrow' was disbursted, and bow placed upon her back, an opportunity? His left hand froze, weighing out his options and scanning her actions, attitude, and direction of speech to attempt deciphering where this may lead...
  385. (Senju Haruke)
  386.
  387.
  388. (Void of RP, thus there is no exact ending to the RP session, thus ambiguity brings it to the following RP)
  389.
  390.
  391. Scratches, Bruises, and the occasional burn, shifting patches of his skin into twisted flesh. The Yokai of Bygonegrove spared no mercy to those passing through, hording poor Senju as he made his way west, away from the encounter he had with a young woman prior whom took it upon her self to pester the Harukean with whatever she could possibly muster.
  392.
  393. Finally, the marshes... So close, he grudgingly treaded towards the disinviting stench the wetlands oozed. Although it boded disgusting, it was proof that he was even closer to home, and farther from the demonic beasts known as Yokai... However, something beckoned his attention. Was it the sound of leaves trembling in the distance? The crunch of grass underfoot? The presence of... Something else?
  394.
  395. The patter grew louder, approaching from behind. Such could only be interpretted by Senju as-
  396.
  397. "Krausdamned Yokai!" He pivoted as the words escaped his lips, slowing as his eyes locked upon the encroaching entity, confirming it's identity.
  398. The beast's squeal rattled at his ears, it's left arm drawn back to send it's reflective claws through his abdominal flesh. The pale yellow skin, and glowing red eyes defined enough for him to commit to action.
  399.
  400. It's squeal was cut off, interupted by a fist to the torso. It's body curled over the blow, head hunkered and arms stalled. Slowly bringing rise to it's head to give a snarling glare at close distance to it's would-be victim, Senju, it thrusted itself further, left arm swiping up for his face.
  401.
  402. His head turned, upward, caught offguard, a lash across the already scarred side of his face. "...Vermin..." A burst of blacked gore ascended into the air, the boom of descending bass and outgoing shockwave of gravitonic energy originating from the Yokai's form, allowed for breif silence, prior to the rain of Yokai blood upon the scene. At the core of it's back, a hole remained, Senju's fist lying half-way through it's torso...
  403.
  404. With his remaining arm, he took up at it's shoulder, pushing it off to fall to the ground, taking a breif scan of the forestry afterwards.
  405. "...Could've sworn I heard something larger..." He grumbled to himself.
  406. (Senju Haruke)
  407.
  408. Trudging forward, through the tall grass of the woods where the swamp meets and the stench borders, Mars would suddenly stop within his tracks to lay his eyes upon the hooded figure ahead. ". . ." With a lack of desire to question the male exactly on who he was, or exactly the intentions that lied in the trajectory of his pathing, the Oscuri would obviously find himself to be a rather agitated individual. . . fresh woulds situated upon the surface of his skin -- varying in the degree of burns. . . yet none of them life-threatening beyond infection; if he were unlucky.
  409.
  410. So, in his wait for a reaction, or even simpler; a word of familiarity, then it'd be natural that he began to step south towards the ruins of Alteros, or the grasslands to seek a face that would provide a bit of wisdom for the turmoil that one encounters when handling a doubt that begins to dabble upon the idea of fear.
  411.
  412. How stressful.
  413. (Mars)
  414.
  415. ...And so, his suspicions were confirmed. Although, atfirst, he expected it to be the girl attempted to slay him with her bow, and thus he acted accordingly.
  416.
  417. His right hand limply rose, ascending to extend for Mars, fingers spread apart to fit the figure's head and torso divided from Senju's perception. Senju's actually face could be partial visable, for the cape had sustained far too much damage to truely hide his face at this point.
  418.
  419. "So, you continue to follow, Valmasian?"
  420.
  421. Shardlets of cosmic energy convulged at a single point just before his finger's grasp, stablizing as it abnormally grew to transcend from a weighted bubble to a sphere of occultistic energy. Thin pillars of violet light revolved around the manifestation, shrinking as it grew more opaque, releasing a steady hum with a distinct crackle of friction against the air around it's embrace.
  422.
  423. "How about I vaporize you now, and leave your corpse back in Byson. Hm?"
  424.
  425. He couldn't quite see the Oscuri from here, not in great detail with his blast charging right before his own face. Then again, at this point... He had the perfect excuse to open-fire.
  426. (Senju Haruke)
  427.
  428. Perhaps the silent approach hadn't been the most productive, Mars senses still alert on the matter of whether or not an individual was presenting actual hostility within their actions. Though, despite the actuality of knowing that this would indeed develop into violence, the oscuri couldn't bring himself to care beyond that programmed sense of excitement; adrenalien accomdating it to dull the pain of his body.
  429.
  430. "Look, I may be injured , but I'll peel you open without hesitation." With the alien sensation of Reika pouring from the exhausted Oscuri's frame, he'd continue move forth with the intentions of closing the distance. Drawing the sabre was a hassle at this point, so heavily making use of Hellstrom would be his approach to the battle if Senju. . . didn't cease his threats.
  431. (Mars)
  432.
  433. A sphere of violet light soared for Mars mid-sentence, followed by a tail that defined the spell in itself. As black as void, humming with an intensity as it closed to... Combust mere feet before Mars to kick up the grounds between the two. Dusts scattered about in the muddy air and hanging low... A warning shot.
  434.
  435. With a cloudy dustcloud seperating the two, Senju commenced making his slow approach, this time, different. His hood was blown off, about his form was a cloak acting as though with a mind of it's own, tendrils loitering about his body catching at even the grains of grass around him, sapping anything they could within reach.
  436.
  437. What this Harukean wanted now, was to get a closer look... Perhaps that would force some fear into the girl that constantly attempted to torment him, except for a key issue. This was not that same woman, but Mars, an Oscuri he swore to battle again someday in the future. With the closed distance granted, it'd allow him opportunity to rethink his actions, even if the results would only slightly alter.
  438. (Senju Haruke)
  439.
  440. Completely annoyed then, yet surprised by the sudden blast of tainted energy that bursted into the ground beneath him, Mars could only take a route of intimdation; arcs of crimson lightning sparking forth throughout the cloud to give the image of the magus's true hostility unto his opponent. ". . . "
  441.
  442. However, the use of the enviornment was clever, the cloud itself rendering Mars incapable of teleporting to a position that would place Senju at a heavy disadvantage. Though, how long would that possibly last? Tactical or not, Mars only needed to head in one direction: Forward. With a heavy kick of his feet, the oscuri would dash forward through the dust cloud to close the distance between himself and his agressor, it of course being within his intentions to end this as soon as possible, if their identity remained concealed.
  443. (Mars)
  444.
  445. Crimson lightning seemed to bounce about the cloud, dancing through the air around Senju. His eyes jolted right, left, up, and forth... The lightning did indeed prove to be quite a display, but he couldn't help but notice something...
  446.
  447. It never once left the dust cloud... Could it be that it was- Yes. The electricity was grounded by the upturned soils hanging in the damp air.
  448.
  449. Dust and scuffling, it was all he could amount out of the whole scene. Were they getting away?
  450. "After trying to threaten me, You have the nerve to run?!" He was infuriated, as though slapped across the face. The nature of the scene had seemed to change, he couldn't give chase if he couldn't see his opponent, and thus... He'd have to have his opponent come to him.
  451.
  452. A smirk melted upon his face, his clothing clinging close to his body now. The grasses close to the ground turned towards his direction, ripping up from the soils for his body, clinging to him like a magnet. The floating grains of soil acted like a vacuum sucking at anything within it's collective grasp to pull it towards Senju.
  453.
  454. His eyes squinted abit, in hopes of not getting sand in his eyes, keeping eyes peeled for movement, any of evidence as to where his target lied.
  455. "You can't hide from me... Valmasian... Show yourself."
  456. (Senju Haruke)
  457. And with the flow of air, Mars followed. His forward motion being to simply use the current to drive himself into his assailant's direction. If successful, then it'd only be easy for him to tackle the individual and bring him down. Though, due to his lack of patience, if anything were to follow up with that it'd be the act of driving his fist into the magus's face. The strength held behind it weakened due to Mars's current condition.
  458.
  459. "Asshole. . ." He grunts, gritting his teeth in anger. There were many things one could tolerate, but confrontation at this point could only prove to truly coerce a negative response from an individual whom had just went through the troubles of an event no different from this one.
  460.
  461. "Provoking me, hm?"
  462. (Mars)
  463.
  464. With the wind blowing in his favor, and amounting grains of soil piling upon his form, it didn't seem long before the person he suspected to be that same woman with the bow to come out stumbling only to be assaulted by the full extent of his gravitonic capabilities.
  465.
  466. Soon enough, movement! A moving shadow, growing, growing! It took shape, earning his malicious grin. It was time to unleash hell up-
  467. The silhuette behind the dust broke the wall between them to reveal a five knuckled mass manifested from out of no where, smiting down upon the half-hardened flesh that was Senju face.
  468.
  469. The solid impact, sent ripples past his cheeks, turning his smug grin into a slow-motion wince. His eyes watered, head cocked back on impact and feet stumbled backwards. A thin thread of crimson glimmered back at the sun's light linking over towards the Oscuri's fists as it drifted apart from his nose. It shocked him, suddenly he had an idea of what he was dealing with; The single remark that came with that fist, it's voice, sounded so familiar... With the pain given, it snapped to memory in an instant.
  470.
  471. "So, it's that other Oscuri..... Mars...
  472. Time was restored to it's original run time, and the Harukean stumbled backwards to the grounds. His right arm cuffed around his face, attempting to stop the nosebleed before it got too bad, taking his gaze for the grounds or maybe even the Oscuri's footing rather than look him in the face at this point.
  473.
  474. With a nasal hum, evidently annoyed now, he responded to his question.
  475. "I mistook you for someone else... "
  476. (Senju Haruke)
  477.
  478.
  479. (IC Weeks later, Hunting ensues once more)
  480.
  481.
  482. Rikari made her way along the road back towards the area of Frostvale. She had wanted to do some buisness there since there was a lack of it recently. She passed the desert flying mid-air and stopped in place, placing her finger on her chin. "Hmm, to go to Danarium or go through Wychwoods hmmm...
  483.
  484. She tilted her head from the confusion that had hit her. Until she remembered something. "Oh yeah, Danarium, stupid me...Wychwood is more fun to pass by anyways."
  485. (Rikari)
  486.
  487. Once overhead stalking his comrades, the Harukean could himself soaring through the skies embracing the freedom of the air. Up here, he could truely be alone, away from the antagonizing Valmasians below, all of which that seemed to oppress him. Arms laid out to his sides, and loosened form, he waded effortlessly in the wind.
  488.
  489. Hair flailing about, and eyes squinted behind his white mask- The flapping of his cape dancing in the wind, and reddened beast-skin upon his chest and abdomen, worn like an armor, a second skin. Yokai-Maile...
  490.
  491. He looked down to what seemed to be a total stranger, alone. Not a soul within eyeshot... Easy pickings. His body took tilt, plunging down for the path before Rikari in the form of a streaking crimson line across the sky. His descent cried throughout the enviornment with a piercing shrill, interupted by it's crashlanding.
  492. An abrupt crackle, perhaps the ground crunching under pressure? All of which followed by a resounding boom.
  493.
  494. The ground underfoot quaked, giving birth to a dome of amber light. Wind lashed out for the Drakanite in a whip-like fashion, barraying at her form. Alongside it, rubble and debris carried by it smashed into her form, nothing of great size nor danger, but likely painful to those whom prove unprepared. In time, the explosion subsided, and the rain of rubble began to calm.
  495.
  496. Dust arose from the scene, shrouding it entirely for meters to come...
  497. Something had landed... But what?
  498. (Senju Haruke)
  499.
  500. She noticed a man in the open doing some kind of technique that Rikari had never seen before. With the wind bashing in her face, she just made the wind that was around her clash with it to neutrilize it. Soon enough an explosion happened and she lowered herself to the floor. Dust had rained and she didn't like it. "What the hell did you just do?" She asked. Then noticed that she was being rude.
  501.
  502. "My bad, I'm Rikari. Who are you and what was with that explosion thingy?"
  503. (Rikari)
  504.
  505. From within the rising dust, rose a silhuette, standing from a knealing position. The potent dust made it hard to see much details on the entity at first, however as it turned few details ployed out to Rikari. A muscular abdomen, reddened and leathered- Almost as though it were alien to his flesh. The shadow that casted over his face revealed nothing but an opaque white, a masked magi.
  506.
  507. A carved-out eyesocket revealed itself to Rikari, abit impressed how she shown not the slightest bit of fear upon his arrival. However, he doubted it'd last long. To those nearby, a tingling feeling manifested within their very cores, chilling them down to the bone. It was as though the sun had lost the will to provide light and heat for those below for a short few moments, before returning from it's short retirement.
  508.
  509. The intoxicating feeling that churned at the bellies of those nearby, was nothing less than Occultism. From within this crater, stood an occultist, now risen to his feet and turning for the oblivious Rikari, his intentions were soon to be unmasked.
  510.
  511. He monotone growl tremored from figure, a distasteful glare emitted from beneath his mask, and finally speaking in a low tone, influenced by his own depravity, and occultistic capability, bending his voice to sound more of a demonic origin.
  512.
  513. "...How quaint... To find a Valmasian traversing along these parts alone. Almost humorous... It only makes my job easier." He spoke in a tone mean't to strike fear into the hearts into his victims.
  514. "...Sometimes, it just takes some effort to get around putting you sort in your place... Your rightful place..." He continued, now going silent to await some sort of reaction.
  515. (Senju Haruke)
  516.
  517. A yawn came out of her mouth as she placed her hand against it. Nothing had bothered her, nothing at the slightest. "Ah, being nice to you isn't worth it. Yes, I'm travelling alone? So what?" She asked getting a bit mad. "Your occult won't have any effect on me..." She smiled as she was thinking what shall she do with this guy, shall he survive?
  518.
  519. "If you're looking to put me in my place then well, this won't be an easy task for you. And there will be severe consequences my friend."
  520. (Rikari)
  521.
  522. "Just as expected... All of them are the same."
  523. His eyes cut at Rikari, intensifying his glare. The flames of shadow extended from his form with tendrils stretched out along his sides and wading in a slow, yet calculated measure. They appeared almost as though at peace, wading in the breeze, however, there was more at work then a simple occultist's aura.
  524.
  525. Something was building, condensing, concentrating within this entity's form. It was almost asthough he was recieving excess energy from an external source.
  526. Rocks and pebbles trembled around their bodies, slowly giving rise through what seemed almost telekinetic in nature... This was... More than simple occultism. "Severe consequences?" He questioned, a growl evident in his voice.
  527.
  528. "The only consequence there will ever be here, Valmasian, IS THE ONE YOU SHALL HAVE FOR CONDENSCENDING ME!" He snapped with a sudden spark of rage! In response to this, the debris from the landing picked up around his form, scattering around them in a blitz of torrenting winds prior to being expelled in a single shockwave eminated from his body. His legs curled up slightly, no longer bound by gravity's will, the dust around his footing departing with an outgoing ring, pressed away by his gravitonic embrace.
  529.
  530. Passively flexing his arms by his sides, he hovered before the Drakanite, glaring upon her form in expectation of passing his judgement.
  531. "You Valmasians, damning all you see fit... Considering yourselves superior by might... From this day forth, I shall show you one by one, if needed be... No longer, it ends..."
  532.
  533. With that, he slowly approached, right leg hanging just centimeters from the ground below, carving up dust from the near contact...His intentions were clearly hostile, as for his next move? It remained quite unclear as of now, however with obvious engagement, Rikari could take it upon herself now. Flee? Or take on this entity head-on...
  534. (Senju Haruke)
  535.
  536. Rikari fell to the floor for a second, literally cracking up from his humour. "You know, you are funny." Her wings spread wide and a giant axe was removed from her back. "It was a big mistake of you being hostile towards me, now then, shall I begin?" She smiled and let wings flap around. Enchanting with flames and wind slices that surrounded her for a few seconds before fading or ceasing to exist. It was just a threatful sight that was all.
  537.
  538. "Someone has to teach you a lesson, at least how to treat a lady with respect." She said preparing herself for battle.
  539. (Rikari)
  540.
  541. The woman even took up the time to stop and laugh?! To laugh at him whom stoof to avenge all of those whom died foolishly upon this land? To him, all he saw was another Valmasian whom laughed at those inferior to them. Did this mean she felt superior to his lost clanmembers? Those whom were killed off upon Valmasian soil, some of which, completely innocent people...
  542. It earned a twitch of the brow, and a flash of memories poured into mind.
  543.
  544. For every moment of his life upon this accursed continent that he had been tortured, beaten, burned, electricuted, and brought to near-death, he lived only to pledge vengence. With her laughter, echoing malicious through his mind as these thoughts haunted him, it infuriated him.
  545. "...H-... How... Dare you..." He spoke in a quiet manner at first, breathtaken at her audacity to insult him with such laughter.
  546.
  547. The way she spoke, so condenscending... As though he were beneath her. Did she see her self superior to him? To his bloodline? To the Harukean Clan?!
  548.
  549. "HOW -DARE- YOU!" He exclaimed, whipping his right arm back to launch a riveting fist for her face. An aerial lunge, clouded with a spear of occultism encompassing his touch. A foggy miasma cloaked his visage, pouring from every possible opening it could find from his body to force her into submission.
  550.
  551. ...Battle, had begun...
  552. (Senju Haruke)
  553.
  554. (Battle is losted by Senju)
  555.
  556. There, he was left for dead... The Drakanite woman has had her way with him, leaving him down and exhausted within the constraints of the wooden rope that binded him to the tree...The cold air chilled at his body, leaving it numb and tingling as nerves began to die off.
  557.
  558. He struggled to condone to even the simplest of tasks, pulling at the rope was impossible with the lack of stamina. With the loss of his left eye, leaving an open socket in the cold breeze, he could only howl in agony.
  559.
  560. ...How...
  561. How could've let himself fall victim to -this-. How could a mere Valmasian, bring him through this much hell. Was he truly weak? Was he unable to amount to what Valmasians were capable of? He picked his head up, right eye watering to catch some sort of... Movement? Three entities... PEOPLE!
  562. He was saved!
  563.
  564. He knew he was... Or.. Was this just his thoughts and fanaticism getting to his head. No! These were indeed people, but.. Not to sort of people he was hoping for. These men were armed with stolen weapons, armor from unfortunate travelers to pass by their patrol. Senju was optically incapable of detecting such, however, it wasn’t long before it was made obvious.
  565.
  566. “Look, boss! A body!” shouted out a voice, slightly shrouded in ambience, and echoing through head.
  567.
  568. “Yeah, probably anoth-” Senju’s head rose limply, startling one of the figures.
  569. “He’s alive!” finished that same entity.
  570.
  571. The one amidst the two leaned in, tilting his blurry head for Senju for a closer look. “Now, where have I seen your face before, boy?” The familiar voice croaked to the Harukean, suddenly with a terrifying quality to it. A pause ensued, and suddenly something grabbed ahold of Senju’s chin, forcing him to look up for the men that stood above him.
  572.
  573. “Oooooh, yes.” The statement was smooth and drawn out with a hiss, recognition was acknowledged, and all of the pieces were being put together. “Told you I’d find you, boy. This time, your ass is mine.” The sound of metal unsheathing sung to his ears, now forced to endure the thought that the bandit leader was back, ready to execute him as he remained restrained… Victor.
  574.
  575. (Senju Haruke)
  576.
  577. Something waded by his face, allegedly the sword he was to be executed with… Of all places, he turned out to have the worst of luck. To die now… Would bring shame to the Harukean name… Would bring shame to his people…
  578. ”What sort’ve avenger am I?...” He thought to himself, allowing his body to go limp. Darkness encircled his form, and time slown to a halt, leaving him suspended in a torrent of his lost memories resurfacing to play-out to him, one by one.
  579.
  580.
  581. A tall silhuette standing high above him, glaring down upon his form- a shake of the head showing disapproval. What… Was this?
  582. “...So, are you ready, Harukean?” asked a voice. From within the darkness, he fell in free-fall, turning his head in the direction of the voice. Gradually, his body came to a halt, allowing him to walk upon the void of darkness that swallowed his consciousness. With every step, the clap of water splashing bounced off invisible walls, growing in volume as he neared the source of this voice.
  583.
  584. “You’ve been striving for vengeance, striving for the justice of our people for years, and still have been lacking the truth…” Called out the voice.
  585.
  586. “What are you talking about?” Senju responded in question, only to be replied to in silence. A strong, prolonged moment… Of unadulterated silence. It left him feeling isolated in this new ‘world’ within his mind. Finally, after what felt like an eternity, images portrayed out to Senju. Men, Women, and Children, all of which of obvious Harukean origin, ran in horror from what seemed to be…
  587.
  588. A horde? No… A massive lot.. An army!
  589. “Your people, Our people… Have been forced under oppression for years. It has been in history that he fought, it has been in the prophecy that he fight… But now, in our final, dying moments, we retire to Valmasia for a new home. You, Harukean… Are one of the few whom stand between revitalization of our peoples, and our extermination…. Will you take up your place? Place as a magi? Place as a Harukean? Will you stand as none other than yourself, and assume your destiny….”
  590.
  591. (Senju Haruke)
  592.
  593.
  594. More silence carried in, Senju, head lowered stood in the darkness, staring at the ground with such words forced to the surface. The image of Hikato’s corpse flashed to his mind, triggering the tightening of his fists. “I…”
  595. Yet another image flashed into mind, Bon Haruke, dead within the Trystle caverns outside of Tilandre.. The haunting image of a mere child, forced his fists to tremble.
  596.
  597. Neveris Haruke, killed within Wychwood by a Glacium Knight, it brought water to his eyes. A single teardrop descended for the blank ground below…
  598. And finally, Vieron Haruke… The one whom fought back…. The Last Harukean Oracle… Executed by Frostvallian authorities. His chest thrusted out slightly, veins popping out of his arms and neck, and an overall shuddering feeling possessed his form. One… Angry… Harukean… Had finally picked his head up, tired of the memories, tired of the hauntings, tired of the torture, tired of oppression… It was going to end.
  599.
  600. “I will stand, I will fight...and I -WILL- save our peoples…” Something took a hold of his form, intoxicating, however abundant now. More abundant than it ever had been… His darkness that once surrounded him, had finally manifested into his ultimate weapon, in-mind, and in-spirit. Years of hatred and striving had built up to this day…
  601. His battle with occultism and depravity for his mind and body was won, in his favor… Atleast, for now.
  602.
  603. “I WILL STAND AS A MAGI! I WILL STAND AS A PROUD HARUKEAN! AND I WILL…” His right eye shot open in the physical world, having awoken from the depths of his consciousness to the sight of a risen broadsword, descending for his form. “FIGHT! IN THE NAME OF OUR PEOPLE!” His sudden outburst was followed by a boom of bass incomparable to his outbursts prior. It was… Different now. The tree-rope crackled at first, strained to their utmost limit, before disintegrating into a wave of outgoing splinters, pelting his would-be executioners with the ring of gravitonic force pushing them away.
  604.
  605. (Senju Haruke)
  606.
  607. He stood, body running entirely on adrenaline, and unadulterated rage. The anger that had fueled him for so long… Now, these men were to feel the brunt of his wrath. He gave a solemn march for the three, half-naked and oddly enough immune to the cold that once weakened him prior, potentially only for a limited amount of time. It didn’t matter of now, for the armor stripped from his body seemed to roll for his form, lashing apart only to assemble upon his body.
  608.
  609. First, the Yokai-Maile snapped in two, slapping it’s abdominal shielding, back cover following soon after, and smashing forcefully to fuse it back together under incredible pressure. The snow began to encircle his form, twisting around with growing intensity as though the wind affinity was put to the test.
  610.
  611. “You lot, have made your final mistake.”
  612. The tone in the Harukean’s voice was nothing short of grave, a serious groan-esque voice that gave a growling undertone. One bandit decided to charge first, head-on with a spear. Slowly, Senju turned to him first, unforgiving eyes locking into the defiant bandit warrior.
  613.
  614. “You’re first.”
  615. Arm extended out for the spear, he swayed it in an upward motion, parrying the spear upward missing the burned side of his face, and allowing the man to stumble into occultist. He stopped. mouth agape and lost for breath… Winded with such a short dash?
  616. Something was stuck in his stomach? A fist caught him as his attack was parried, it’s occultistic embrace drained at the lifeforce it could on-contact, however, this provided as mere prelude to the sudden amassed power.
  617.
  618. A trembling voice was aroused into broken shouting that seemed to stutter, before an all out shout, cut off- by a sudden burst of blood firing off from his back, two newly formed ends of the spinal cord protruded from the bandit’s back, intestines scattered into the skies, painting those beneath it with crimson rain. A bloodied hand was pulled from the impaled bandit, gravitonic forces empowered with occultistic potency was evident.
  619.
  620. Just as the body fell, the occultist’s attention shifted for the other two, both of which backpedalling away. “Do you really think, I’d let you get away?” The furious magi asked, in a solemnly questionable tone. He begun his march once more…
  621.
  622. “Wh-... What are you?”
  623.
  624. The occultistic tendrils that traced around his form, growing as cosmic properties worked hand in hand to feed it greater excess of mana from his star above.
  625.
  626. “I… Am a proud warrior of the Harukean Bloodline. I am no longer to be known by the Valmasian name I’ve taken up, but by my real, original name. I am Xalvador Haruke the Second, and I… Am your worst nightmare, Victor.” The fact that he remembed this bandit’s name stroke fear into the older man, stumbling backwards to the snow. Feet kicking off at the snow, boring into the ice beneath, he slowly managed to get to his feet in a frantic manner, only to trip- Pulled by forces without a face, to fall upon his own.
  627.
  628. Effortlessly, like a spider encroaching on it’s prey ensnared in it’s web, he closed in, ready to finish this scuffle off, once-and-for-all. Even now, Victor frantically tried with all his mind to get back to his feet and run, a risen hand from Xalvador would be all it took… However, the last bandit, was not going to allow that to happen, not whilst blood pumped through his veins.
  629.
  630. A sword swung for the Harukean, nipping his chest-region of his Yokai-Maile, rewarded with a fist to the face. The knuckles cracked into the bone on-contact, leaving him to stumble backwards for the snow and ice. The magi’s right arm extended out for the fallen bandit, fingers spread apart in preparation for an execution.
  631.
  632. “WAIT, DO-” A flash of purple, and it was carried into motion. A sphere of darkness, black as void, containing a dancing flicker of mana-induced static jumped within it’s containment. Upon making contact with the fallen man, it squeezed upon his chest, tightening upon itself before combusting in a violent explosion of flesh, a violet smog that seemed to consume at the flesh exposed.
  633.
  634. Now, there was Victor, whom managed to make it far off into the horizon. “...Next time, Victor… it ends…”
  635. The two around him whom had fallen were down, and dying… But not dead. His critical condition required vitality and energy, and as of now, he was not proving to be picky, not whilst his life was at stake. His star blessed him with mana quite nicely, and with two meatbags, what more could he ask for.
  636.
  637. He extended his left arm out for one, and his remaining one for the other, pulling them up to their feet with the aid of gravitonic forces, pulling them into his finger’s grasp. Within moment’s their heads were held with the likes of one of his hands respectively, their vitality soon to become his own.
  638.
  639. Sanguine light illuminated the lining between his touch clasping over their lips, their physical form paying the costs for his restoration. Their skin wrinkled, withering, leathering into a deprived state of nature. Their eyes shrunk back into their skulls, hollowing out their flesh into pure vitality for Xalvador, regenerating his body to a minor extent.
  640.
  641. The skin stretched out, to fit two skeleton-corpses, both dropped to the icy snow to be forgotten. These two, although almost brought his damnation, inevitably brought him to his salvation. Salvation from the pain, Salvation from the oppression, They opened his eyes to his true identity… And now, it was time to make his ancestors proud. He turned south, ascended for the skies, charging what he could from his star to commence flight…
  642.
  643. “...May all know me now, as the new Arbitor and Oracle… Xalvador Haruke, the Second.”
  644. (Senju Haruke)
