[Croaky, groggy voice] Hi Sweetie, welcome home.*sniff!*  No I just got home a few minutes ago, too. Yeah.. they did figure it out, I um... I’m really really really sick. Yeah, fever, sore throat, upset everything… the works. They also said I’m probably going to die. Yup. They said I’m going to die because my boyfriend hasn’t come and kissed me yet, even though I missed him all day. Death by broken heart. No no no, dont actually kiss me, baby, I’m probably contagious! Mmm, it's okay. I've got medication now so I'll be back to work by monday.

Of course I'm staying home! I'm not even allowed in the building with a respiratory infection.. It puts everyone at risk of catching whatever I have. Mhmmmm I did take my meds already, I want to get better as soon as possible. Yesssss I’m sure, God, I’m supposed to be the whiny one here, not you! I'm sooooo hungry though... and this medication is supposed to make me super nauseous so I won't be able to eat anything. Baaaaaaaaaby. Mmmnmmmf. Fix it. Come here and fix it and make it go away and… fix it. Please?

Wha.... what do you mean you wish you could stay home with me... Oh.. I see. No, I mean, I guess work needs you more than I do, right? Of course I'll be okay, it's not like... -coughing- it's not like I had a temperature of almost 103 today, or anything. No I knowwwwwww... I know you’re some important big shot. I know you have some big project due soon and it’s very integral to the blahblahblah. I know they're more important than me having some silly little infection. That could be killing me. And making it so that you can never kiss me again. But, y’know… duty calls, right?

-Sigh- Fine.. don't stay home with me. Don't stay home and take care of me and cuddle with me all day. Don't force me to kiss you a lot even though I don't want to get you sick. Don't be the best boyfriend ever.

I'll just have to.. -coughing-

I'll just have to get up and make my own food, and bring you your lunch. Well, if you're going to work, I'm still bringing you your lunch. Who else is going to bring you lunch, your other girlfriend? -giggling- Maybe SHE’S worth staying home for, hmm? *sniff*

I guess I'll have to... bathe by myself, too. Mmmm no, I don't feel like a bath right now. All I want to do is eat some delicious food, snuggle, watch a movie, and fall asleep all wrapped up in your arms. BUT ALAS, you have to go… to your cold corporate job… and stare at your cubicle walls… and your smelly coworkers… and leave your poor, sick, defenseless girlfriend all alone, with no one to care for her but her-

-Squeal- You will!? Are you sure? Really, baby?

-Giggling- okay.. I won't let you change your mind, you know. You’re mine today. Even more than usual, hehe. Aww, baby… the thought of spending all day with you is already making me feel a little better. You really are the best baby.

Now then… since you’re going to be here all day… I don’t suppose you could make me some soup? Sweetie? Honey? I mean, you aaaaare here to take care of me… right? Good! Then I’ll take a bowl of chicken soup and some orange juice. Chop chop!
