You were excited, as today marks your first day of being a student at Hope's Peak  Academy. You couldn't believe that you got accepted—it was like a dream come true.
All of the sudden, you feel nauseous. Your head starts spinning. As soon as you arrived at Hope's Peak, you blacked out.

You wake up, with your head still slightly spinning. You rub your eyes and look around. It looks like you're in a hotel lobby. The lighting was quite dim. It felt like something straight out from a horror movie. You also noticed that there were also a lot of other people, but you recognized none of them. There were no familiar faces. You hear someone clearing their throat. Startled, you look up and see a screen with a black and white bear on it.

"Upupupu~! Welcome, welcome.. Did I bother your beauty sleep? Upu, sorry! Well, it's time to wakey wakey! Everybody is here, so Monokuma can start with the explanation!!! Upupu!! Welcome to the school trip, my students!! Why are we here, you ask? Don't worry, Monokuma is here to explain everything!! Upu.. Let's see.. We're in a hotel lobby.. And.. Oh!! Silly me, Monokuma forgot the most important part!! Upupu.. The REAL reason is.. You're all here to participate in a Heart♡Pounding KILLING GAME School Trip!!! Upupu!! Exciting, isn't it? Upupupupu!! I'll repeat that for those who didn't catch it!! It's a HEART♡POUNDING♡KILLING♡GAME!! Which means you guys have to kill each other!! Also, no escaping!!! Upupupupu!!!" The screen fades to black.
