Garou disappeared from sight. The moment he did, Gladion felt Doublade shudder. A shiver ran down his spine. They sensed something, and so he sensed it too. Something from behind.

Gladion turned around. Garou reeled back his arm, ready to strike. He threw a punch.

“Doublade! Shadow Sneak!”

Gladion melted into shadow and dashed to the side. The force of the punch kicked up all the sand in its path— but Gladion was unscathed.
