- >Meditations relation to lucid dreams????
- meditation is a TON more important than i thought (which is why i made an entire paste for it), it helps a ton with
- dream recall, dream control, becoming lucid MUCH MUCH easier, and overall stability!

- some people have reported not even requiring reality checks or any other technique due to the power of meditation.
- "I started lucid dreaming much more after I began a consistent meditation practice.
- For me, there were no reality checks needed to trigger it. Instead, I found myself being more mindful and aware in the dream state, which made certain dream-state features much more obvious, often then triggering the thought "ahhh, this is a dream," which is all you need to become lucid" https://www.reddit.com/r/Meditation/comments/2untkp/mindfulness_is_causing_frequent_lucid_dreams/
- "When I was 15, I began to mediate regularly every night before going to sleep, a way to clear my head and find some peace before hitting the hay. I wasn’t trying to induce lucid dreaming, but after several weeks, I found that the majority of my dreams were lucid"

- >when, where, and how to meditate
- when does not a big difference, But i would recommend right before bed because not only will you be
- much more relaxed but you might sleep easier and that's always a good thing
- Where is a bit more important because meditation should be in a calm quiet and undisturbed location
- where no one will bother you or disturb you
- though many people meditate differently this method seemed to work for most people and is pretty basic
- - Find a quiet place that no one will disrupt you in
- - stretch, you're going to be here a while so you need to be comfortable to not have your mind wander off
- - find a good position to meditate in whether it's sitting down, laying down, or in a chair
- - settle in and start to relax focus on your breathing for as long as you want, it's best to have your eyes closed
- - when finished open your eyes slowly but don't jolt or jump up. Bask in the affect meditation gave you
- if you want to you can listen to a guided meditation which is when someone else is guiding
- you through the meditation, i would recommend trying it at least once as it helps
- you not have your mind wander it's also pretty helpful if your new.
- although many people say you should decide on how long you should meditate this is not
- important as when the timer goes off it might ruin the mood and gradually getting up from
- meditation is much more peaceful than the startle of an alarm going off, besides who knows
- how long you might want to go on for time can fly when you get good
