recap of: mc thinking how, now, he doesn't have any connections/relations to remember/think about? and he's now empty and painless.
or this: he thinks that he was living that way till he was all oblivious/forgetful, to the things or people that he used to know and so, he was empty and pain free for his remaining time.


chapter starts with mc thinking 'was a strange thing' and how, even though fmc was the main character in the relationship that made his life a living hell, he still found her very beautiful. he then tells fmc 'long time no see' and fmc replies with 'yeah..'. he then asks, why is she here and who is she waiting for and fmc replies how, she came out to smoke, but has no cigarettes and asks mc for one. mc tells her yes, but also how, there is no smoking on this floor. fmc then kinda taunts mc on that, since they weren't as fussy about that no smoking rule before(or more..). mc kinda agrees with fmc and idk, kinda makes it that, compared to what he/they did before, this is nothing much and it was hilarious to respect the 'no smoking' rule there.

mc then thinks how people are funny. he then asks her, what about douche and fmc replies how, she's not sure of what will happen there. mc then tells fmc, how douche loves her a lot and fmc kinda dismisses those words about douche. fmc then asks, if mc wants to fuck with her. mc gets triggered and fmc says how, thinking about it, all the conversations they had before, was sex related/about them having sex, like a potential situation and exciting?(smth new..cool..avant-garde like? idk here). mc thinks how, he detected coldness in her voice and then tells her 'let's not do it'. then he thinks how, he also agreed with fmc's farewell and how, it was the last time he ever saw her.

mc on the streets and he thinks.. how at times, he was having hallucinations seeing fmc walking on the streets. then, how he also saw fmc's face on the face of the bar waitress/karaoke hoe. then, he fucks that girl and thinks how, if he was lucky, he'd even hallucinate having sex with fmc, but it was oblivious to him, that he would not see fmc ever again.

mc at home looking at his wedding photo and thinks how, his wife had not contacted him for more than 1 year now, but neither did he, contacted wife. mc then takes that back and thinks how, he thought that he wasn't worthy to contact wife. then, some office girl hands him some letters and mc thinks how in honesty, he was afraid to contact his wife. he then thanks the girl and thinks how, only divorce papers might come as a means of contact from wife, but thinks how, those papers/wife's contact, did not come today either and how his day to day was torture like.

then, he thinks how, the sole reason that he did not finish it first(divorce?), was that, he felt some tiny hope, messing with his inner pain. then, bartender girl then asks if him he wants another drink and mc thinks how, the longer it took for a decision to be made, it gave him the feeling that, maybe for him too, there was some hope in this situation he was in. mc then asks bar girl, if she wants smth else to eat(sex implying?).

hotel and he fucks that girl and think, 'that is him' and how like that, he can endure his pain and his day to day life and thus, the hopes that he has towards his wife, will grow bigger. then, mc and bar girl await for the elevator and she lets him know that the elevator is there. then, the doors open and is his wife with a glasses guy. *here, mc x wife, exchange looks and they kinda switch places where, wife x glasses from inside of the elevator and now on the outside and mc x bar girl are on the inside of the elevator* and mc thinks 'By the way/but... By the way!!/But!!'.

mc then narrates how, 3 days later after that meeting he and wife had and then, it's shown an open letter with the divorce papers and he thinks how, the most regretful thing for him was, to sign those divorce papers from wife, and not the affair that he had and betrayed his wife. then, he narrates how, that day, he went to that hotel..it was all him there(that was him). END

me: so ..the shitty ratings from the kreaders kinda makes sense now(it was 3.8 out of 10 after 2-3 days from completion). wife too, looked sad asf there. but ..she was going to a hotel(restaurant?) with another guy as well, while still being married(so wife did not bluff on that ch 56 talk she gave to mc about fucking better guys she'd meet with).
i guess..shitty end for all characters..they all look sad and depressed, wife included. as for mc..i think he tried to take all the blame on himself? even for wife's doings? ..or simply acknowledged that he was the one that fucked everything good that he and wife had going on in their marriage.
