You can massively increase your chances of being an admin by focusing on lowpop timezones.
If you want a place, advertise that, even if it's untrue.
Getting admin is much easier than losing it.
The only admin who actually got deadminned was Dragonbro and he made a big no-no.
Most people just stop coming on.

Secondly, with what I did, I realised I was friends with about 5 admins passively and just began upping my investment in the chats.
That basically gave me a huge boost.
I hope that helps.
Oh, and ahelping stuff people miss pings MoMMI in admin chat for them to come online and sort it out.
