MAR Lore

Ok, Players were transported through time and space from (earth) into a magical land known as Heaven and onto a continent/country known as MAR-Heaven. Unlike the players, your character would have been a resident of this magical land his entire life! Which is why I need to discuss things with you!

Continent is split between SouthWest, SouthEast, Central, North, and then theres an island off the continent known as Caldia where Arms and magic and mages and witches hail from. Arm are the devices where magic is usually in the form of. Usually in the shape of jewelry like rings, charms, neclaces, earings or statues or stuff. Most come from Caldia the magic capitol, while the people in the MAR-Heaven have learned to make their own albeit not as powerful.

About 2 generations ago, almost 200 years, a kid from Caldia stumbled across the magic country's ancient stockpile of Cursed Arm which are Arm that are super powerful but usually give the user a horrible curse until death does the Arm and user apart. A common factor of cursed Arm is prolonged life or eternal youth. Anyway, said kid found his Arm of choice the zombie Arm that basically made him unkillable, and used it to raid the entire Cursed Arm stockpile as well as a lot of the rest of Caldia's super Arm. He fled the island nation, to MAR-Heaven where he found some other assholes and started an evil army called the Chess Pieces. He paradaed around the north conquering shit until, the queen of the north gathered the other kings of the different regions and formed the Cross Guard, warriors from each region brought together to fight the Chess Pieces.

Around this time, the queen Rosalia came across super fancy Arm that let her bring a 'visitor' from earth to the land and the visitor turned out to be a fucking god in this realm and basically won the war for them, albeit losing his life in a deadly draw between the leader of the Chess Pieces. This was 200 years ago mind you. After that, Queen Rosalia continued to keep up an active smaller roster of Cross Guards, while most of the Chess Pieces were killed in the war with their cursed Arm and Caldian Arm spread out throughout the lands
