- glacial foundation, hard as stone,
- formed of my breath, prepares my home
- walls of frost and pillars of rime
- roof of white and icy windows sublime
- filigreed frost and embroidered snow,
- sculptures rise as the frigid winds blow
- shining trees cloaked in hoarfrost, gardens of glistering white,
- frozen arches and echoing shudders, grounds of powder with bite
- chandeliers of icicles, glassy turrets, and crystal floors of cold,
- soaring iceberg battlements, whose strength shall never fold
- frost heave forms a glacies, rime a hedge of razor,
- crenelations carved in ice, a frozen gate that shall not waver
- a keep of blue and white, a jagged frigid spire,
- its pillowy roofs and icy tines accumulate ever higher...
- my crystalline perch rises, to pierce the grey sky,
- surveying my shining masterpiece, i bellow a satisfied sigh.
- my wings, unfurling white, a coming blizzard,
- i launch from its frozen parapets and fly,
- my diamond body and frigid roar proclaim, to any skyward eye
- there can be no other ruler of this wintery domain, than I.
