- Description: Hosey and Sanders watched Shane for a week as they plotted to rob him. They attacked Shane outside his home, before forcing open the rear door while continuing to beat him. They tied him up with an extension cord and shoved a bandanna in his mouth to muffle his screams. A neighbor called police, who arrived and brought Shane outside, where lifesaving efforts were attempted. Officers then heard noises coming from overhead and discovered the suspects hiding in the attic.
