Chinese Yin Tea

	Danny had invited Ying Yue over for tea and to catch up on news and gossip! Tea and snacks would be set out at the stone table and benches.

	It's always odd to come down to the cave for Ying Yue, as it usually involves a trip to the other realm. But tonight is different, or at least it was presented as different. Right now she wears clothing, not picked out by Junko, and instead has gone with something that is more suited to her own culture. She arrives and looks about for any others that may have gathered, as she isn't the best source of rumors.

	Only Mr. Lao is in the yin cave with Danny, coiled up over by the inky pool. Danny smile when Ying arrives, and motions for her to join him. "Thank you for coming. May I offer you some tea?"

	Ying Yue moves towards the table and is very careful in sitting down with the cheongsam on. "I do not get out much since..." She pauses to think about her words, "...I started to spend most of my time in the umbra. And I would enjoy a cup of tea."

	Danny nods, "I understand. I am much similar. Despite my time in the Yellow Springs, however, chinatown remains my primary concern." He carefully pours out a cup of tea for Ying - Purple Yin - and then one for himself. "Have you been plumbing mysteries, or building something?"

	"Mostly I have been working on honing my body and mind. Delving for mysteries and building things are not what I excel in doing." She does look much more physically fit since the last trip to the other realm. "The only thing that I do that could be considered exciting is control the amount of weaver spirits in the area."

	A nod from the maoshan. "Has there been an excess of such in the area? I am always ready to lend assistance as needed." Danny takes a sip of tea. A pause, and then he puts forth an inquiry, "If an outside force attempted to claim dominion over our community, you would stand against it, yes?"

	Ying Yue takes a sip of her own tea, setting the cup aside after, "I can usually handle myself with most of them, And I have been trying to find spirits will to guard the shrines and other such areas." She pauses and considers, "Who is invading this time? I have heard of the...." She frowns a moment, "...I have forgotten their names. But the vampires. They were the last ones trying to lay claim."

	A nod from Danny, "Them, yes. I will be speaking with Karasu to make sure he is well, and to gather his counsel on the situation, as the wan kuei would the the most at risk from such an aggression. But the rest of us would be caught up in any conflict impacting our community at large." A pause as he knocks back the last of his tea with a noisy slurp. "I would act to ensure our sovereignty. Our community is our community. No one should be forced to bend any knee to any outside force. I would ask your thoughts on such a position."

	"I have not seen any of the conflict spill in to the streets here yet. Plus, I am not one of the subtle shifters, I would be less than useful if there was fighting. We do have to remain hidden still. But if there is something I could help with, I would." The young Zhong Lung says.

	Danny relaxes then, as if Ying Yue had lifted a great burden from his broad shoulders. "Thank you, Ying Yue. I am in your debt, and humbled by your offers and words. With any luck, no open conflict will take place, but if it threatens to do so, I feel much better knowing we stand together on this." He rises from the table. "Let me know how I may be of help in any of your endeavors. I will seek you out again once I have spoken with Karasu and have a more complete understanding of the current situation."

"That is likely for the best. If it is not a spirit, I do not have much knowledge of it." Ying Yue says, finishing her tea, then rising to leave as well.
