Time goes on. Ch.01

The sun was high in the sky and not a cloud to be found. It would seem as if the Pegasi where working hard that day. In Ponyville a young filly with a light-blue coat and dark-blue and white mane with a shiny white smile was exploring the edge of the Everfree forest. This little filly goes by the name of Colgate. She doesn't have her cutie mark yet and she doesn't want to be the last in her class to get one.
So little Colgate is wandering near the brink of this dangerous forest full of strange creatures and unknown oddities yet to be discovered. This intrigues the young filly, she likes to examine the mysterious forest from time to time in hopes it will lead her to her cutie mark.
Today she was alone wondering if she could ever be so brave to venture into the dark forest. Colgate didn't really like being alone, she always liked to make other ponies smile.
I wonder whats in that scary looking forest. Colgate silently said to herself.
I'm not sure i want to find out though! She said to herself to lighten the dreadfully silent atmosphere.
She was afraid of the forest and for good reason. Many said to have gone in and not came out. It was a simple rumor that scared the ponies, it was a effective one to make even the bravest of them not to travel into the forest alone. But Colgate was different. She contemplated traveling into the depths of the forest more than most should.
an odd sense of adventure with that of which no pony has seen or done before pushed the young filly to explore the world. After sometime of being by herself near the scary forest, Colgate decided it was high time she went back to Ponyville.
But just as the young Colgate turned to leave she heard a noise from inside the forest. A strange noise she had never heard before that peaked her curiosity. It was an undescribable noise. Shortly after, Colgate heard a door opening and a faint buzzing sound for a few seconds. The door closed again and the undescribable noise took its place.
After that, it was gone. Colgate was perplexed on weather she should go in the scary, dark, forest or if she should go home and forget the whole thing ever happened. She stood there for a moment examining the options, She didn't want to get killed for a noise that may or may not have been a figment of her imagination trying to trick her into feeding the curiosity inside her.
The thinking was over. Being rational and noticing the sun was going down she decided to head home.
On the way back she couldn't stop thinking about the noises.
Her parents where pretty nice people, they where not birth parents, Colgate was adopted by them when she was just a newborn. Her fathers name was Whritesworth or Mr. Right, he was a author of children's books meant to teach the young fillies and colts about how important it is the brush their teeth or comb their mains. ("Mr. Right" get it?)
Colgate's mother was named Temleh (She has a big head). Mr. Right is a gray unicorn with a Dark brown main in a choppy spiky looking mane-cut. his cutie mark is a quill. He also has Light green eyes that seemed to have a hypnotically nice look to them.
Temleh (Tem-lli) is a Dark-purple Pegasus with a Ruby-red mane and eyes to match. She works as a mover for the rainbow factory (movers move the rainbows from place to place) her cutie mark is a black cloud. Temleh is a grouchy pony that seems to always have bad days when she is working.
When Colgate returns home her father is vary worried.
COLGATE! Mr. Right Yelled when she came down the road.
I'm sorry i'm so late dad, i was caught up in adventuring! Colgate yelled back.
Just don't scare me like that. You could at least tell me when you get out of school if your going to play with your friends or something.
I'm sorry. Colgate said in sincerity.
Mr. Right sighed and said "Just go wash up, brush your teeth and get ready to go to bed". I finished my book "A new dentist" and i want to read you it before bed time.
Colgate jubilantly ran inside to do as her father said. She always enjoyed her fathers story's.
When Colgate finished brushing her teeth (something she oddly enjoyed doing) she sat down on the couch next to her father.
Did you brush your teeth? Mr. Right asked.
Yes. Colgate said in earnest.
"Mr. Right chuckled" Vary well. Hmmm lets see here.
Whritesworth got up and trotted over to his desk. Picked up the book in his mouth and sat back down on the couch. He dropped the book, opened up to the first page and stated reading about the adventures of a aspiring dentist who wants to be the best she can be.
The story being made for children is naturally short but long enough for Colgate to get really sleepy.
Once the story was over Colgate was ready to sleep, all worn out because of the exiting day. Mr. Right was pretty tired to. So they went to bed, for some reason Colgate's mother wasn't home when they did so but that happens on occasion.
Colgate had a dream, a dream of the noise. The undescribable noise from the forest. It was getting louder and loader until she woke up the next morning. Colgate wanted to go into the forest if it was the last thing she would do.
