Having gotten her fix of the great green carpet for now, Mio sat up with grass blades clinging to her now somewhat rumpled dress and turned to regard Kyouko. "Well... I have seen grass before... Just never this much. Where I live, not much plants can really grow. The Black Spot is... black." The girl said, unable to really explain in detail like most of the others in her group. "Something to do with a bomb and how the area never stopped being black. Here, though... Everything is green! Beyond the horizon! So much!"

:" Were you in the room that we were in before? Do you know where we are? Do you know why we look different? Do you know of a way I could get out of here and back to my friends in the digital world?"



The driver leaned over in their seat, peering out at Shotaro and the other Champions from beneath the hood of a loose cloak. It was not a human being, but rather a large, reptilian creature whose body was covered in thick green scales;◊ it looked very much like the creature Guilmon had turned into, save for the different colour of its scales and the fact that it was wearing a loose buckskin tunic in addition to its travelling cloak. The creature eyed the approaching Champions, a forked blue tongue darting from its lips to taste the air in a decidedly nervous fashion.
 “Thiss iss not being a robbery, yiss?” it asked, its voice raspy, sibilant, and filled with trepidation. “You are not being men of the highway, yiss? Please do not be robbing me, I am having nothing of value…nothing that iss being of monetary value, ” it corrected itself.

The large reptilian beast slowly turned its head towards Donkey Kong, regarding the ape in a decidedly placid manner as it chewed on what was almost certainly a form of cud. Likewise, its only reaction to Edward’s scrutiny and examination was to shoot him a glance. It did not seem to mind their presence all that much. And why should it, when it was nearly as tall as the ape was and far longer besides?
 Fluttershy’s actions, by contrast, got a low, rumbling sound from deep within its chest. Whether this was a growl or something akin to a purr was hard to say.
 Sazh, who had just arrived, placed his hands on his hips as he eyed the animal. “Huh, ” he said to no one in particular. “Kinda reminds me of the Armadillons back home…’cept this one doesn’t have the big shell.”
 The wagon’s driver, for its part, tilted its head and blinked at Shotaro, nictating membranes sliding over its yellow eyes. “That should be being obviouss, yiss?” it said, sounding a little perplexed. “You are being ssouth of the great warmblood ssity, Riverrock.” It glanced at Edward then. “Chimera? You are making none of the sensse, gentlepersson; my beast iss not having enough headss to be chimera.”
 At moment, Fluttershy flew up to the lizard man and asked it what its steed was called. Its only response was to stare at her in obvious surprise, clearly taken aback by the sight of a flying, talking horse. It opened its mouth as if to speak—and the she promptly flew off, screaming about dragons.
 “Dragon?!” The driver looked up to the sky, head darting back and forth as if he expected to see something swoop out of the clouds. “Where iss being?!” he rasped, almost sounding on the verge of panic.

 Stuffing as much grass and flowers as she could inside her pockets, Mio then jumped up and ran happily along after the others while toting her familiar stuffed animal. Upon reaching the wagon, Mio just stood and bounced up and down on her heels as she waited for more forthcoming information. Those that had a keen eye would notice that the girl's trail of footprints in the grass was substantially deeper than what someone of her frame would give off.

"Woah, woah. Calm down."

Link seemed quite overwhelmed at Guilmon's slew of questions, frantically gesturing for him to slow down for a bit. He was still smiling, though. For something that looked so much like a Lizalfos, this one was rather friendly.

The caravan halted, and its strange, hissing occupant inquired if they were robbers. Shotaro seemed to have it in hand, though - as expected for a detective. He turned back to his excited questioner.

"Sorry, but I'm not exactly the best person to explain all this," he replied. "I'll try my best, though. Oh, before I forget..."

He smiled politely at the boy in black armor. "Pleased to meet you, Riku." Then it was back to the lizard. Evidently, he had thought his answers through completely during the brief interlude.

"I was in the room, though I only just arrived. It was quite a surprise to see the changes Yee had made. I don't know where we are, but it's definitely one of Omega's new challenges. And as for getting home..."

He paused, somber. "I'm not sure if I'll ever get home," he admitted. Then he shook himself and smiled, his voice becoming completely earnest.
