6/2 the calm before the storm.

"please. let us calm down and talk about this like rational men.. gentlemen. without guns" the doctor said to the self claimed leader of the HLF in this area
"we dont mind the mutation lab. but the ambassadors it is right out." the bald man said back to the doctor
"i am sure we can come to an agreement.. i reconize your right to protest and will set up a spot for you to do so.. even serve drinks and food if you wish..
and in return you reconize our right to gather peacefully?"
"sounds good.. exept for the spot part. i want those mares to have to walk through us to get inside"
"well i am afraid i cant let you do that... because if anything happens my friend in the sniper tower would have to use his right to bear arms. and i would hate for you to get a lead lobotomy. if you want i can get some RV's and trailors so you can have some people sleeping some of the time." the doctor said
the leader sighed "fine... it seems that is the best compromise for the least amount of bloodshead. but i want it known that if anything happens from the HLF i had no prior knowledge to it."
"very well. we shall get the area set up right away. see you later dave" the doctor said turning around and waving
"you too Doc." dave said walking back toward his car

6/2 calm before the storm

As promised the HLF had a spot set up inbetween where the two doors used to be.
there was four RV's and three trailors. they were all circled around two fire pits, two grills, and a soda machine. the cakes even had a stall set up nearby to sell equestrian food and were indeed making a profit.

the whole thing seemed like a fair on the outside.. but everyone knew the powderkeg they were standing on.
if it went off without a hitch, it would be the first time in history the HLF and the Equestrians worked together for peace. it would set a precedent that would hopefully spread to the other gatherings of the faction...
if not... well there was worse conflicts.

The doctor stood by the cakes Stall and watched the highway for the Black truck with the blue, pink, and teal colored trailer with the flags of equestria hanging off it. everyone was nervous and waiting

"what if they missed the train? or fell off the road, or exploded? or missed the train falling off the road causing the train they missed to explode?" suprise said as she hung off one of the old florescent sign whos bulb had broke years ago.
"suprise. please close that hole in your muzzle. nothing like that has happened.." octavia said looking out the same direction as everyone else

"is that them?" dave asked pointing over the doctors sholder
"lets see... yes that is. remember. stay in your area and this will be a first on both sides." the doctor said standing up
Dave nodded "i apreciate you asking twilight to talk with us.. i just want her and the others to know that.. like her own group not all of us want to kill them."
the doctor nodded and shook hands with dave "to a brighter future"
"a brighter one indeed" dave said as the truck pulled up.
the HLF who made signs picked them up and stood there as the doctor walked up knocking at the drivers side door before having a conversation with the guy inside
"hello dont worry it is just me... The Doctor.... nono just "the doctor"... it is not a funny name at all.. better than hawk. yes i know thats your name... read the memo.. why is everyone suprised that i read memos?... yes they are here on peaceful grounds. i talked to them and as you can see none of them have weapons... okay i know signs can be used as weapons but you know what i meant. yes i swear they will all be safe. yes. thank you agent hawk."

the three other doors clicked open and out hopped the mane six
"wow.. first time we ever got a reception like this." rainbow said streaching her wings.
"and i am glad to be out of that stuffy truck." Rarity said
"INKIE!" pinkie pie said leaping over to where octavia sat and glomped her sister
"Pinkie. you dont need to kill your sister when you just reunited with her.. right soarin?... soarin?" suprise said looking for the other wonderbolt.
she found him glomping rainbow dash.
twilight hopped out and took off her reading glasses, stowing them safely in her bag before smiling "Doctor? where is he?"
The doctor smiles and waved with his fingers "hello"
Twilight laughed "nice try.. where is he really."
"i am telling the truth.. i am the doctor..."
"no you are not.. he is a tan colt. not a human"
"oh.. you must... right.. um. hard to explain but do you know time travel?"
"time... oh.. i am so so sorry.. i did not know you were a newfoal.. when is your conversion date?" twilight asked blushing slightly
"well about that.. spoilers forbid me to know..." the doctor said "shall i get some people to help you guys unpack?"
Twilight nodded "that would be great.
"ahh and yes. once you are settled down the HLF leader of this area would like to have a heart to heart." The doctor said
"that would be fine.. in fact i would enjoy it" twilight said
"right. Octavia can you get some of the ponies and humans to come help unload the trailor?"
pinkie helped her sister up before octavia nodded before pinkie spoke again "oh! doctor we have a package for you. a suprise gift as it were
pinkie lept into the trailer and soon re-appeared with the box handing it over to the doctor
the doctor smiled "why thank you.. what is in it?"
Applejack laughed "we don' rightly know ourselves. it was made by my and raritys lil sis' and their friend. we call them the cutie mark crusaders cus' they are always doing things to get their cutiemarks."
"and would these um.. fillies be a yellow earth pony, a white unicorn and a orange pegasus?"
"eeyup! those would be them!"
"and hehe" the doctor started giggling" would some of the things include perhaps stowing away for an adventure?"
"uh i guess so. why?" applejack and rarity looked at each other then at the doctor who was holding the open box
"um.. and your sisters are in ponyville still right?"
"yes.. sweetie and applebloom always send us a weekly letter on what they have been doing." rarity said
"well i think some exaggerations on the timing have been... off" the doctor said setting the box down and revealing the three sleeping fillies inside.
"oh crabapples" applejack said looking inside.
